DC announces plans for original WoW and Starcraft graphic novels

Media Release -- Message from Hank Kanalz, VP & General Manager of WildStorm and WORLD OF WARCRAFT comic-book series editor:

"We're pleased to announce that WildStorm will be publishing a new series of original graphic novels based on Blizzard Entertainment's World of Warcraft and StarCraft game universes. The first of these new titles will be announced in 2010.

"While WildStorm and Blizzard loved the stories being told in the regular monthly comic-book series, we decided that the graphic novel would be a more suitable medium for the tales we wanted to tell next. The larger format will give our artists and storytellers more room to explore Blizzard's rich, varied worlds and flesh out the characters that inhabit these places."

Shipping advisory on four DC Comics titles

Media Release -- Due to a printer error, retailers serviced by Diamond's Olive Branch Distribution Center will not receive their copies of three DC Comics titles in their December 16 shipments, as scheduled.

Titles affected by this delay include:

* AZRAEL #3 (OCT090203)
* BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD #12 (OCT090263)
* TINY TITANS #23 (OCT090268)

Retailers will receive copies of these titles with their December 23 shipments.

In addition, Olive Branch customers will also be allocated on their orders of BATMAN #694 (OCT090200). All Olive Branch customers will receive approximately 70% of their orders of this title on December 16, with the remaining copies of this title scheduled to be delivered on December 23.

Cryptologic launches games based on Superman, Braveheart and Forrest Gump
