My only redemption is that I can claim I stick to the humor, photography, and architecture sections. But I am the beneficiary of several recipes my wife has found.

One of the things I have seen a lot of are those plain text signs that say, “Keep calm and carry on”. You’ve probably seen them too. Because I am usually on the humor boards, I typically see funny derivatives like these:

I always figured Keep Calm started out with some house frau making cute sayings and posting them online. Oh, how wrong I was. Think farther back…like WWII England! Here is a short 3 minute story behind Keep Calm and Carry On.
