I have a love/hate relationship with the name and URL of this blog.

I started it nine years ago with a different state of mind. My intentions were never malicious, but maybe my frustrations, the same I still have when it comes to hulking empty malls, just needed an outlet.

Euclid Square Mall is defunct, dead, done-zo, toast. But &quot;Dead&quot; Euclid isn&#39;t really a fair thing to call an entire city.

A long time coming, it seems Dillard&#39;s will be closing their Euclid Square Mall clearance center.

It&#39;s really a shame! It was pretty common knowledge the lease was up in 2013, but I&#39;m still a little surprised they&#39;re closing this location. The prices were amazing and they appeared to do a steady business.

Have you seen the devastation there lately? Value City, May Wah Chinese Restaraunt, The old Daves Building. And those are the just the ones I can see out of my window on a daily basis!I&#39;ll try to send my lovely photo fill in around the city to get photos of the downtown area.
