I think that we should say these things. Not to the person it's directed at, but to our accountability partner. Because it tells us two really, really valuable things we might otherwise not get: 1. What's really going on in our hearts toward other people, 2. New ways we can reach out and begin to radically change our thinking and our hearts.
If we can't be honest about what thoughts are churning around in our heads, we're going to miss a lot of opportunities to change our thinking from the ground up. An accountability partner is a great resource to get that stuff out in the open (without crushing someone's feelings).

Yeah Mike, I can truly relate. I've been a short cut person my whole life. Taking shortcuts usually leads to having to return to fix the real problem. What I’ve found that works for me is to step back and put God First... Then I go in with my head on straight and tackle the true problem. God First truly works for me... As for the girl’s hair, my first thought was a dad for sure... But after reading Lori's post, I have to agree with her. There is no way I could have made my daughter hair look that good. Lori's is right on, that was definitely a mom’s doing… God bless everyone and GodFirst…

A couple of weeks ago I remember thinking about how much time I waste sleeping. I wanted to figure out a way to be more productive while I was sleeping.
I was stumped, then I realized that I was missing the point.

The reason that i cannot be productive in my sleep is the exact reason for sleep. It is an intentional thing that we are forced into doing, a thing that we have to stop and take time to recharge. If not for sleep and the quietness and rest that I get from closing my eyes I would be running constantly and making things even worse.

While at first look ... you might think a dad did that. But I say, no way ... that is one creative mom who came up with that. That pony tail is perfectly centered with no crazy bumps ... yep, a mom for sure!

Thanks guys for making me feel less pathetic. One day I will move from my pre-Mike Foster love days to post mike first wife days and love will be in the air.

It is just funny for me being around all my friends who are married and are now having kids and I am unemployed and trying to survive here.

But I am enjoying life and that was a pretty cool video.
