Some idiot broke my pretty pocket sized umbrella. I left it to dry at the back of the office yesterday, away from idiots’ traffic. I forgot to go get it when i left work and only recalled as i was walking to the car. ‘Should be alright until tomorrow morning’ i told myself.

I went to collect it from the corner this morning and discovered that it was dented at one of its arm. The idiot either trampled on it or dropped something heavy onto it. One of its arms was broken. So furious that i almost sent out an email to the entire company to say “Thank you for killing my umbrella”. What is wrong with people?

It is not an expensive item. I got it for about 1000 yen from a shop in Ueno. But that is not the point. The point is that it had been selected and treated with care, as i do with all my belongings. I have been using it for the past year unscathed, returning it to its case after use. And to have some idiot come along to end its life is just…unacceptable. I might not be able to find one in the same size, pattern and color again. Thanks, idiot.
