Sometime I want to get into the shower just to scrub off doubt and limiting beliefs. We all know that doesn’t work…right. The only way I know to silent our minds is to meditate. Once we are able to hear and feel the nudge of creativity or possibilities  it is up to us to act upon  it with faith.

I have a video to share with you of my personal growth. This is only the beginning,  barely the tip of all the possibilities coming my way.

I know can you believe it? XHTML and CSS…Ha! Ha! It was always there inside me. By peeling back the layers of doubt and unbelief this inner potential finally had a chance to come to the surface! The testimony really goes on to bigger possibilities. I was counseled by one of the programming instructors towards the end of the semester to sign up for his class this next fall. He invited me to come into his class for four weeks and sit in the back of the room without paying to observe. He told me if I like it I can pay for the class at the end of the four weeks or just not show up after that!

I just uploaded a video to YouTube on a lesson I learned awhile ago on how to have a “win, win” situation in business. About five years ago I had a cleaning business working over 3 counties. I was in this business for ten years and really loved it. I learned a lot of business lessons back in the day which have carried over to my Online business today. I have a question.  Are you in business for yourself?  This is a real duality question.  I remember cleaning homes for people, and the thought came to me back then as well.

Am-I-really-in-business-for-myself? The truth is, kinda and kinda not.

Isn’t it true no matter what business or job you have, you are helping others?  Most jobs come down to a form of service one way or another.  So the question rises again are you in business for yourself? I think understanding the duality of “pain and  gain” will help you answer the question, and will change the way you connect with potential customers or business partners.

I remember those days of working very hard to make somebody’s day much better. After they’ve put in a long day of work they come home to a spotless house.  Their busy lives became my personal gain! The harder I worked for others to help their day and week go a little better the more my business grew. The duality of pain and gain if operating from abundance is a thing of beauty for all persons involved.  I didn’t have to convince my client to keep my service, in fact they helped spread the word of-my-service.

When talking with people about your business the timing must be right, and the decision must be theirs. If this is not the case you will have to convince them every month to stay in the business.  Having the question, “what’s in it for me” comes from Ego, and Ego will tromp your success every time. Coming from abundance makes you attractive to others. Abundance says, “What’s in it for them.” The true spirit of “help” comes from aligning yourself with abundance.

Does this mean, never do anything to help advance your business?  No. But, what this does mean is, “letting go of the Ego” and truly help others with their quest. Allow them to think for themselves without you convincing them, that what you have, is what they need. This is the key to your success, and this is what will keep your business partners close to you.

They made their own decision to partner with you, without you convincing them to partner with you. This is a lesson to be learned and it’s a biggy. It takes personal growth to let go of Ego and trust in your inner spirit to connect with people on a deeper level. The fact is, not everybody wants your business. For some people it just may not be the right fit for them. Wouldn’t it be better for all parties to let it go of the outcome, rather than using convincing language to persuade them to join you in business, when they really didn’t want to.  This will only come back to bite you in the butt latter.

The EGO is the challenge,  it talks very loud!

EGO- is not trainable

Ego- thinks it knows it all

Ego- always wants more

EGO- is envious of others success even when you are very successful

EGO- is afraid to let go of… EGO!!!!!!!!!!

EGO- is deceptive to others and unkind

EGO- plays mind games to try and outwit others

EGO- is UN-ATTRACTIVE!!!

What if we replaced EGO with love?

Love- remains trainable

Love -is always learning

Love -is grateful for all the things you and your friends are blessed with

Love- is never envious

Love- is eternal

Love- never hides in dark places, but shines even when darkness is all around

Love- leads with kindness without a hidden agenda

Love- attracts positive energy

People are looking for answers, and most want a “quick fix” which will solve all their problems. I have been on this journey for two years, for some it may take longer, and for some not so long.  If you want to be a “Attraction Magnet” you must become more!

Hi friends I’m back it’s been awhile since I’ve greeted you with a video. October has been busy with my husband home from work all month. We’ve been traveling within the state and really enjoying the beautiful colors. I always take advantage of the time out within communities because it gives me a better chance to share my “two minute” story and handout products to people in need.

We have two new customers ordering from our “business website” this month because I’ve learning how to talk with people so they don’t feel like they’re being sold. Okay, that’s just me tooting my horn a bit, but what a great feeling NOT to be afraid of talking with my warm market. One year ago I would have never talked with anyone other then people on the Internet, but I’ve grown personally and that fear is gone!

To Earn More You Must Become More

There is something else I wanted to talk with you about. I hope this will not sound pushy to you, but do you have the “herd mentality?” Last week I had  three e-mails and a couple of people on F.B. put their new products on my wall. I found it quite interesting, it didn’t bother me and I wasn’t offended by it (last year that may have been a different story), but I wonder how many people are going to get out their credit card once again in hopes of  making “fast money.”

I model after people that are living the life that one day I’m going to live. I don’t see any of them with the “herd mentality” do you?  NO! Why? Because they know the secret which is really no secret at all. Learn to talk with people, build relationships, be a go giver, stay close to your mentors and grow!

When was the last time you seen Randy Gage run to the next product or “lead building system” to hopefully build his team? Never! I’m not saying he’s never used a system to build his team, but what I am saying is, he networks with people! All the “big leaders” NETWORK WITH PEOPLE!

This story is true and it happened three summers ago!

There is a law and it’s simple, “treat others they way you want to be treated.” Why? Because, you will reap what you sew! My husband and I were enjoying a wonderful Summer Saturday afternoon, we stopped at this road side ice-cream stand to get an ice-cream cone. There was a man with his young kids eating ice-cream that my husband knew, but I didn’t. One of his young daughters was licking away at her ice-cream cone, as it was running down her fingers onto her shirt making an ice-cream mess all over her face. Ha! Ha!

I was sitting at a picnic table outside eating my ice-cream as well, not paying much attention as my husband was talking with this man. All of a sudden I heard, “the voice” say to me, “go talk to the little girl.” Now, when I hear “the voice” I’ve learned not to argue with it. So, I walked over to her not knowing  what I was to say or why, but when I opened my mouth it came to me. You see, she had very bright wiry red hair completely unruly, blue eyes, pale skin, two large front teeth that didn’t seem to fit her face yet and bright freckles sprayed all over her face and attire body!

I got down to her level and I asked her, “how do you liked your ice-cream cone?” She said, with a shy voice, “I like it.” Then I told her, ” look at all the people here eating their ice-cream cones, not one of them can hold a person’s attention the way you can!” When I said that, my husband stopped talking to her father and both of them started to listen. I asked her, what’s your name?  she said, “Autumn” I said, “I know” that’s why you’re so special.

I told her, “your hair glows with the beauty of the season soon to come. No-one can resist such glorious color and you wear it every day on your head. Your eyes are the color of the sky, you see the world like very few can. Your skin is the color of a porcelain doll always protect it in the hot sun. You’ve been blessed with adorable freckles, you will always water color your way through life like only artists can do.  You stand apart in the crowd because you were created to shine, so when you are feeling sad don’t forget who you are, You-Are-Autumn! The most bright and glorious season of the year.”

Oh my goooooodnessssss did she have a bright smile!  Do you think she will ever forget me? No. She will always remember for the rest of her life and she doesn’t even know my name and never will.

Rule:  Treat people the way you want to be treated and they will always remember you!

A few weeks ago on Facebook I received an e-mail from a group that I joined. I don’t always read all the group e-mails, but for some reason I had to click on this one. I started to read and my heart sank… it really sank. It was a marketer that seemed to feel justified to blast his woes. He said with great ego and pride he had signed 100 people into his business, but everyone of them dropped off on the back end. He was proclaiming loudly that he’s ticked off with all the people who call themselves marketers. They don’t know crape about marketing and so it went on.  You get the picture…yeah, not pretty.

I thought to myself, could all 100 people be incompetent marketers with all the Online training we get? No, not a chance. This person had no idea how to build relationships and to get people to like him and he is not duplicatable. I sent him an e-mail back and very kindly said, “will you please send all 100 people my way. I promise you they’re some of the best marketers on the Internet today. If they lack in anything, it’s their belief in themselves. With a few nice words and somebody that can lead the way with skills, and a duplicatabe system that all personality types can use, the hundred will soon be thousands!” WOW! Needless to say I never heard back from him.

So the message is, Treat People The Way You Want To Be Treated And They Will Never Forget You! You will be the one to stand out in the HUGH crowd loving life, loving people, growing your business with retention. What is even more awesome, all the ones that call you “family” will be building their own business family as well!

I had a hard time deciding what category to put this post under, because it’s about networking and about personal value.

Some of you know that I’ve been sharing my “Home Based Business” in my hometown by getting involved with people. I’m really excited as I’m learning new skills and putting them into action.  What I want to do is share through a video, but I can be long winded sometimes. So I’m going to stay with  expressing my gratitude towards all my  Online friends in writing.

In my community (Stevens Point Wisconsin) we have a newspaper called The Sevens Point Journal, but like most towns the news has gone Online. I found out last week that the “Online St. Pt. Journal” has a “central hub” section where anybody can open up an account and start blogging. I thought, “how cool” they even have a plug-in for videos. It didn’t take me but 2 minutes to get my account open and to write my testimony and how excited I was to share in my community.

Oh My Gooooodnessssss I was NOT prepared for the reaction. I was soooo happy that I had enough training to screen ALL comments before they get posted! The post was simple and positive…kind of like a “ice breaker” post. What I got back was hateful comments, it just about blew me away.

It hit me later that night after spending sometime meditating to get the “negative comments” out of my head, how grateful I am for all my Online friends and for the people that I hang out with daily. I didn’t know until this time how much I’ve changed and how I view the world so differently. I honestly thought I/you/we are the majority and not the minority. It’s been so long since I’ve listen to the news to know what hateful things are going on in the world, even though I know it’s out there everywhere.

I can say from the bottom of my heart that you are all leaders the-world-needs-you! I’ve had some people that I don’t agree with, but the level of personal development and maturity is there…we can still respect each other and be friends and move on! Yeah!!! I love and appreciate all you my “Online friends and family!”

I’m ready to pull out all the stops and use my skills. I love the Internet because it allows me to connect with people that I couldn’t normally connect with; but  I want to grow my business locally, because I work full-time in my home office and long for personal fellowship and contact with “home community.” I’m ready and my community is ready for me!

Okay, I just about fell off my chair laughing when I watched this, but it’s so true!

Confession

Some years ago I was having a hard time sleeping so I went to a sleep doctor. I sat there in his office and he asked  questions and I answered them . He told me in the middle of the night when I couldn’t sleep (my mind would not shut off) to sit up in my bed and yell real loud...STOP Ha! Ha!

I said, “what… yell  STOP” if I did that I would scare my husband right out of a deep sleep and the dog would wake up thinking there was an intruder ready to charge. Well I found a better way of turning of my thoughts, I meditate it’s been a life saver for me!

But the truth is this.

When you try and recruit somebody into your biz and you know they already are married to their company Stop it your asking them to cheat!

If you are a Network Marketer and all you do is pitch your biz. Stop It and build relationships, people join people they know, like and trust!

When all you do is complain “It’s so hard” Stop It and work on personal development!

When you see your glass half empty and not half full Stop It you will get what you think…a half empty glass of nothing!

When I couldn’t sleep at night I had to STOP IT and change my thinking and I did!

“Show Casing Your Blog In Your home-town Will Create A home-town Buzz”

The second you step out your front door you have stepped into your “warm market place.”  I do have a problem… I don’t like rejection and I don’t like to bug people, so how am I going to get people to come to me? Well… It’s been easy!  I want to share with you what is working for me.

I know this is going to help you get your creative side working for you. I was born an “Entrepreneur” the awareness of my creativity came to the surface when I was seven…

It was the summer of 1967 I was a freckled fiery redhead with two large teeth in front. I had a love for trees, flowers, vegetable gardens, ponds, frogs, tadpoles, animals and dirt in general. My cousin Jeff lived down the road a few houses and it didn’t take long for us to become the best neighborhood friends. Jeff had a passion for growing things, anything that he could put into the ground and water was a fun mystery to him.

Jeff and I had this crazy idea to plant seedling trees in our back yards. Ha! Ha! I will never forget the lessen I learned from this experience.  I had to came up with a plan to talk with dad about using his garden to plant trees and not veggies. I was so full of ambition with bright snappy dark brown eyes and a goofy smile he just had to say, “YES” and of course he did!

Dad squared the garden with stakes and string so Jeff and I could work up the ground and get it ready for planting. It took us a couple of days with the hoe, rack and shovel, but we got the job done. Next, Jeff and I road our bikes down to the covered bridge, where I was always afraid our car would fall through, because it had old wooden planks for a road. This is where we pulled up little maple seedling trees and carefully put them in a basket to take them back home.

For the next few days Jeff and I worked on planting as many trees in dads garden as possible. We had the trees all lined up in perfectly spaced rows. I had fallen completely in love with gardens and growing plants just like my cousin. With a little loving care, water, sun and dark dirt, a plant will grow…what a pure delightful mystery!

Dad sat back in his yard chair and watched all summer long as I worked the ground to keep weeds from growing. I remember digging a trench that weaved in-between every row, and around the outer boarders so I could ran water down the trench with the garden hose as my irrigation system. Jeff and I watched how every seedling responded to my dedicated love for my trees.  Not one of them died they all made it through the drama of getting up rooted and replanted.

By the end of the summer they had grown strong, but still didn’t have much bark on their trunks. When the leaf raking season came we covered my trees with the leaves to protect them through the cold winter months.  Nobody and I mean nobody walked in that corner of the yard in the winter in fear of hurting my dormant trees.

Fast forward to the summer of 1969

Yes, my beloved maple trees were still growing in the garden and I’m loving them more now then ever! My poor dad had no idea what he was getting himself into, two summers earlier when he said “yes” to a summer of tree planting. Dad never thought that it would hold my attention for half a summer let alone two more years. What I’ve learned years latter was in 1967 the natural born “entrepreneur” in me was already manifesting it’s self. I had vision; I could see the whole picture; I had perseverance; I had a hard work ethic; I planned my work and worked my plan; I had passion; I had the belief in myself, and a God that would make all things happen when there is faith!

How did this all come to an end? Well… I’m almost to a whisper because I was not prepared for what happened. All I can remember was mom and I went shopping for a few hours on a Saturday. When we got home all my beloved maple trees (they were 3-4 foot tall) where burnt but three , yes dad burned and destroyed my trees. Dad took the best three out of the whole bunch (I had a few dozen) and transplanted them in the back yard where two are still there to this day, (one was taken out for a swimming pool some years latter). I remember screaming and running to Jeff’s house across the neighborhood yards, I grabbed Jeff in tears in a complete panic asking him, “is there something we can do to make my trees come back to life?”  We did try Ha! Ha! (yes I’m laughing) it was final, the trees where gone, but the experience is still with me today!

I remember telling Jeff when we were trying to doctor them back to life. “We could have sold them like a real tree farm and made some money” (an entrepreneur mindset at the age of 9) or “we could have planted each one back into the woods where they belong” (the love of giving back to mother earth). Needless to say I forgave my dad and I’m so thankful he saved 3 for the back yard. If dad knew back then, what I know now, the money that would have been made from selling the trees, if invested properly at the age of 9 would have set a different course of life for me and my family.

The truth is, I’m blessed beyond measure for the wealth and health that I and my family have! I thank God every morning and evening for the privilege to live a FREE lifestyle.  I am now currently building an International business that will pay forever and one day my grandkids will inherit the wealth.
