We’re fighting the pirates and getting results.
Knowing the critical impact piracy has on Beachbody’s business, as well as the businesses of all our dedicated
Coaches, Beachbody has created an Anti-Piracy Group, which I am personally leading. The members of this group
are dedicating significant time, efforts, and resources to battle this issue every day. And we’re getting real results
from our numerous efforts.

In the first half of 2010 alone, we have:
• Enforced against 1,314 Web sites selling counterfeit product
• Taken out more than 38,000 online auction/marketplace listings, which account for an
estimated volume of more than 13 million units of product valued at more than $281 million
• Removed 787 sponsored link-type ads on Google, Yahoo, Bing, and Facebook
• Removed more than 100,000 links to unique downloads of our titles
• Brought or continued existing lawsuits against more than 40 individual pirates
• Sent well over 1,400 Cease and Desist letters to counterfeiters
• Entered into settlement agreements with more than 150 counterfeiters

Government agencies are jo ining us in the battle.
Every few months, I travel to Washington, D.C. to conduct several meetings with government officials and regulatory
agencies, such as the International Trade Association and Immigration and Customs Enforcement, to help rally
additional support for our cause and to increase awareness of the severe impact counterfeiting has on Beachbody
and on each and every one of you.

Similarly, our Intellectual Property Counsel David Squellati, my right-hand man on our Anti-Piracy Group who has
more than 11 years’ experience in intellectual property and anti-piracy arenas, is assisting Customs agencies with
criminal investigations and prosecutions of counterfeiters. Our hard work has resulted in close to 150 government
seizures of more than 5,700 units of our product in the first half of 2010 alone, as well as multiple ongoing criminal
investigations and prosecutions.

While the numbers look impressive, we’re not satisfied.
To help Customs authorities more effectively spot and seize counterfeit merchandise, David is now traveling
nationwide to train officers from 30 ports and express mail facilities. This activity is increasing the awareness of
the piracy issues we face and will hopefully encourage these officers to more rigorously support our efforts in the
seizure of counterfeit product.

He also goes on to talk about P90X plyometrics and how it is beating his a**. He says he doesn’t want to hit the pause button because he doesn’t want the clock to stop.  Funny!

If these celebrities are getting results from programs like Insanity I’ll bet there is a pretty good chance you will to. If you are thinking about giving Insanity a shot remember this.  Insanity is tough, real tough and it’s not for beginners. With that being said, it is an awesome work out.  Hardest cardio work out I have ever done and I still do these work outs to this day mixing them in to my P90X work outs.

I first want to say that if this is your first round with P90X I would just do it the way the workout guide says to.  If you want to modify a second round then go for it. Second, if you have any sort of joint problems, back problems or neck problems I would not attempt to do P90X Plyometrics with an 8 lb medicine ball. It’s really not a lot of weight but I would error on the side of caution.

So here is what I did to make P90X plyometrics work out a little harder and a little more intense.

During the warm up I lifted the 8lb medicine ball above my head during the lunges and during the deep prayer squats.

I did the first set of exercises the regular way and during the second set and for the rest of this work out I pretty much used the medicine ball on every exercise.

Jump Squats- Just hold the medicine ball close to your chest while you jump.

Run Stance Squats- Hold the medicine about chest high elbows wide for better balance.

Airborne Heisman- Use the medicine ball and alternate sides. When you are jumping left move the ball to the right and vice versa.

Squat Reach Jump- Use the medicine in your squat. When you squat touch the ball to the ground and then raise it above your head when you jump.

Squat Switch Pickup- Use the medicine ball and touch it near your front foot. (Don’t bang your knee)

Double Airborne Heisman- Just like the Airborne Heisman.

Jump Knee Tucks- Add the medicine ball. Hold it with both arms slightly bent and jump! (phewww!  Tough!)

Mary Katherine Lunges- Hold the medicine ball above your head while doing the lunges.

Leap Frog Squats- Just hold the medicine ball with both hands close to your chest.

Twist Combo- Hold the medicine ball close to your chest.

Rock Star Hops-   Ummmm, nope. No resistance.

Gap Jumps- Probably not a good idea with any added weight.

Squat Jacks- Put the medicine ball above your head. (Don’t bounce it of your head)

Military March- No medicine ball,  Just do these the regular way.

Run Squat 180 Jump Switches- Jump and squat with the ball near your front foot and then switch.

Lateral Leap Frog- Hold the ball up towards your chest.

Monster Truck Tires- Hold the medicine ball up near your chest. (Don’t lose you balance)

Hot Foot- No medicine ball.

Pitch and Catch- No medicine ball.

Jump Shots- Use the medicine ball like a basketball.

Football Hero- Hold the ball up to your chest.

1. I’m in the best shape of my life. My number one reason why I love P90X is the plain simple fact that P90X has opened my eyes to a whole new level of fitness and put me in the best shape of my life at 38 years old. I have always worked out and ran 3-4 time a week but I never have done anything like the workout in P90X. I would do curls, bench, squats, presses and all of the obvious stuff.  Then when I had to do Yoga, Plyometrics and a million push-ups I finally realized what I was missing.

2. I have no need for a gym membership. P90X is $119.85. Pretty cheap considering Lifetime Fitness is like $65 bucks a month and if you need the family plan it will be over $100 bucks a month. You will also need a trainer once or twice a week which could tack on another $60-$100 for that week depending on your trainer. When you buy P90X, Tony Horton is your trainer.

3. You don’t need thousand of dollars of fitness equipment. With P90X all you need are some dumbbells or resistance bands and a pull up bar and you will be just fine. There are a few other things you could use but they are not mandatory such as a Yoga block, yoga mat or a Plyo mat.

4.You can do P90X forever. People often ask “what do I do after my 90 days of P90X?”.  Do it again?  Up your intensity! P90X is a plan you can follow forever.

5. P90X Support. P90X is so popular now that you can find support in a variety of place. I’m right here. Just shoot me an email and ask away if you have a question. Then there is always the Team Beachbody Message Boards.  Here you will find the whole Beachbody community sharing there thoughts and solutions to a variety of topics.

6. You don’t have to do it alone. Start a fit club and invite over a few buddies.  You already have the DVD’s or are about to order the P90X exercise program.  Get a friend or two to commit with you. You can even spit the cost if you want to.

7. You can make some extra money while getting in shape. One thing I know for sure is that if you are doing P90X, you will be talking about it.  Well what most people don’t know is that you can help others get fit and make the same commitment you have to doing P90X and you will make some extra money. Isaiah says “I am fortunate enough to train with Tony Horton”. He meets with Tony 2 times a week but he has been doing the P90X exercise program for over three years and sticking to the nutrition plan.  This has helped transform his body and who knows, that new body is probably how he landed the Old Spice gig.  I think these new commercials will open up Old Spice to a new demographic. Looks like it is not just for older gentlemen anymore. On a horse, in the shower, on an exotic yacht, that Old Spice guy is everywhere.  Remember one thing, he stays in shape with Tony Horton and P90X.

Isaiah has also recently landed a movie gig in “Horrible Bosses” with Jennifer Aniston.  Who knew an Old Spice commercial could lead to the big screen.  Isaiah also talks about P90X in this recent Yahoo news article.

If you want to smell like the Old Spice guy then by all means get yourself a bottle of “Old Spice”, if you want to look like the Old Spice guy then get the P90X exercise program and commit to your fitness.
