Good morning! I hope you had a lovely weekend and your week is off to a great start. Today’s release from Taylored Expressions is all about the craft lover in your life and family. My first card features a some new additions to the TE line up for the needle crafters in your life.

To make this card I started out with a Pink Champagne cardbase and then stamped another Pink Champagne piece of cardstock with the Cross Stitch 6×6 Background Stamp in Pink Champagne and die cut it with the Stitched A2 Layer Stacklets dies. Next I stamped the Seeds & Such Background Stamp on Sugar Cube with Latte ink and die cut it with the Seeds & Such Die. I lined the opening with left over acetate from some stamp packaging and stamped the word Buttons from Seeds & Such – Sew Essentials Clear Stamp set in Versafine Clair and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I added the little 25 cent stamp also from the same set. Under this I created the button card by die cutting each button from Little Bits Buttons twice out of Pink Champagne, Pineapple, Guava, Kiwi, Cake Pop and Gumball. I layered the die cuts together to make the buttons a little taller and adhered them to a piece of Sugar Cube sized to fit and stamped with the divider lines. I added a little pair of scissors from Little Bits – Scissors, a spool of thread from Little Bits – Spool and the thread from Little Bits – Needle & Thread. The sentiments are from Sew Essentials Stamp & Die Combo and Bitty Strips Sew Essentials.

My next card features the new Family Tree Stamp & Stencil Combo along with the Little Bits – Birds & Birdhouses dies.

To start this card I created a Toffee cardbase and roughed it up with a Tim Holtz Distress Tool and then inked the edges with Latte ink. Next I stamped the tree from Family Tree ink Green Tea ink and stenciled the flowers in Pineapple ink. I die cut the birds and birdhouses from Honey, Gumball, Latte, Cherry Pop, Green Tea and Black Licorice cardstock and arranged them around the tree. At the bottom I tied some twine and add the With Symapthy sentiment from the From the Heart Sentiment set and die cut with the coordinating die.

My first project the Florals & Flutters Stamp & Stencil Combo with Guava, Cookie Monster and Tropical Punch and Pineapple ink/cardstock along with one of the Happy Square Sheet card maps. The card backgrounds are stenciled tone on tone with the Take Two – Beads & Blooms stencil. The sentiments are from Mini to Mighty – Occasions with the coordinating dies.

My second project features the Foil It – Florals & Flutters add on along with the Softly Spoken stamp set and coordinating dies.

For this card I used Pink Champagne, Pineapple, Cake Pop, and Pear ink/cardstock, Champagne Fun Foil and the flowers from Garden Variety.

Happy Tuesday! Today is the Taylored Expressions calendar release! Today I have two projects to share with you. The first one uses the 2027 Portrait Desk Calendar with Soft Surroundings and His Word 1.

I started by stamping Soft Surroundings on Guava, Blu Raspberry, and Macaron cardstock tone on tone then die cut them with Circle Layer Stacklets. Next I stamped the sentiments from His Word 1 on Sugar Cube cardstock with Oreo ink and die cut them with Circle Layer Stacklets. I finished up with some flowers from Garden Variety in Pineapple, Confetti Cake and Guava.

My second project is a perpetual event calendar that is used to record special events that re-occur each year. To add designs to this one I used Stencil Strips Calendar – this is a super quick way to ink these up for a gift. You could also add die cuts for even more or foil the month on each one!

Good morning! I hope you are having a wonderful week so far. Today is the Taylored Expressions release and I have two fun cards to share with you using items from the release.

Happy Tuesday! Today a new FANTASTIC kit is dropping from Taylored Expressions called Hex Effects. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this kit. It’s a fun base for all kinds of cards.

My first card is a quick an easy thank you card that would be very easy to create multiples of. I started by inking the Hexagon Layering Stencil (an add-on to the kit) with Candy Corn, Blueberry, Tropical Punch and Mango ink. Next I die cut a sheet of Mango cardstock with the Hex Effects Cutting Plate die and glued those down over the Mango stenciled spaces for some texture. I trimmed the panel just a bit to create a slimmer profile and layered it on a piece of Tropical Punch cardstock and a Tropical Punch cardbase. I added a sentiment from All Together Stamp – Occassions 2 and a few black rhinestones. Very easy to make multiples of!

My second card uses one of the TE Maps – Hex Effects (though I didn’t follow the color plan) and the Hex Effects die. I die cut the Hex Effects die from Toffee, Sweet Basil, Honeydew Melon, Honey and Pineapple cardstock, arranging them in rows. Then I added a few flowers and leaves from Garden Variety 2 die set in the same color palette. The sentiment is from the On Occasion stamp set, heat set in gold and th

For this card I used Plum Tart cardstock for the cardbase and splattered layering panel and Plum Tart ink for the lighter purple flower. To add some dimmension to the Baroque Bouquet Stamp and Layering Stencil after heat setting I added some Prismacolor colored pencils with Gamsol.

There is a new release at Taylored Expressions and it’s one I always love, it’s the most recent second chance release. I LOVE these because it’s so fun to get new pairings with supplies I have and love.

This first project features Just Because Blooms and the coordinating dies.

This second project features Giftables Mini Mail. These dies are SO CUTE. I paired them up with some flowers from Garden Variety 1 and 2 along with sentiments from Mini to Mighty Occassions.

This next project features the Scattered Meadow background stamp and Mini to Mighty Sentiments again. I really like these sentiment sets, they are so versitile for so many things. I also used All Planned Out 3 dies for the layout.

And my last project features the A Year In Bloom Bouquet collection featuring the bouquet stamp, coloring stencil and die.

Hi! I hope you are having a good start to your week and you are safe from the weather. I know it’s been crazy out there.

Today I have a couple of projects to share with you using Taylored Expressions Trendy Tiles Card Making Kit. This kit is so much fun and has endless possibilities for ways to use it.

For my first card I stamped the Trendy Tiles Background stamp on Toffee cardstock using my MISIT with Sugar Cube and Cotton Candy ink, offsetting the stamped image very slightly for a 3-D look. A couple of tips for this technique – stamp the white ink first and lightly heat set it, then stamp the darker ink over the top, cleaning the stamp in between inking so you don’t contaminate your ink pad (like I did). You only need to move your paper a very small amount to get the embossed effect.

My second project uses the background stencil paired with the background stamp. I stamped the background first using Mulled Wine ink and then heat set the ink. After heat setting I used the stencil with Pink Champagne ink (LOVE this combo!). I added one of the sentiments from

The last product I used is the Design Duo Layering Stencil – Simple Tags Valentine which is very similar to the Create in Quads stencil that was released at Christmas time only this one creates 8 Valentine tags instead of 16 – which is the PERFECT size for Valentine’s day!
