So it’s approximately 36x36. Since it was so small, I was able to pin it on my countertops. This little baby quilt is for my new niece or nephew. My sister said she wanted a grey and white quilt. This is not a jelly roll quilt. It’s random grey and white fabric I had. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg69q63A03Q4lKGGWkf6p8kyIXd-5ZnYjRtG8Yqf-nJwmXYMwkrajDit5IQHgtkdk7FxpFvnU8BKAFMHHOtF6IbuCHKTH8C-0SRFgTAOJyZZho0YRFSOWQ1_gQYuzMgzofQgKsXlPbyQh3K/s4032/366FA744-7A21-4BA4-B952-386A66FC187A.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="3024" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg69q63A03Q4lKGGWkf6p8kyIXd-5ZnYjRtG8Yqf-nJwmXYMwkrajDit5IQHgtkdk7FxpFvnU8BKAFMHHOtF6IbuCHKTH8C-0SRFgTAOJyZZho0YRFSOWQ1_gQYuzMgzofQgKsXlPbyQh3K/s320/366FA744-7A21-4BA4-B952-386A66FC187A.jpeg" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div>I didn’t follow a pattern and just sort of figured it out in my head. My sister chose to accent her baby girl's nursery with succulents and cactus. So for her baby shower, we hopped on that theme and made her a simple diaper cake with accents she could use in the nursery. I made a simple diaper cake and accented it with fake succulents I found at Target. So very simple, but so very cute!!! <br />

This <a href="https://noodle-head.com/product/caravan-tote-pdf-pattern" target="_blank">Caravan Tote & Pouch Pattern from Noodlehead </a>is my favorite tote bag pattern! These two totes I made probably two years ago, but if I need to make a cute tote bag for a gift, this is my go-to pattern!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
When I made this, I only had one zipper, so only one tote got the front zippered pocket! <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgX9GpxmBg5oR6h0ID9IWJzr_Ug7LSp_fILT5mV5Vcx4jsKoRWelFn7PSTLCWl42ZuZbfrgwg_Z7ALul_e3VHdTmEJnDd3crb5r4Q_-PGqkR6kLtIo2D2yaYY5ofr04CLm9ocfIJTZtpzeX/s1600/IMG_2292+%2528Edited%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgX9GpxmBg5oR6h0ID9IWJzr_Ug7LSp_fILT5mV5Vcx4jsKoRWelFn7PSTLCWl42ZuZbfrgwg_Z7ALul_e3VHdTmEJnDd3crb5r4Q_-PGqkR6kLtIo2D2yaYY5ofr04CLm9ocfIJTZtpzeX/s320/IMG_2292+%2528Edited%2529.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
One of my favorite features of this tote, is the front snapped pocket. This pattern also includes one of my favorite pouch patterns! The pouch also has this front snapped pocket!<br />
<br />
My first tote I made using this patter was probably 5 years ago and it quickly became my sewing tote! Don't you love a good tote bag!!!!<br />

<br />
One of my absolute favorite go-to Baby Shower Gifts are Handmade Baby Moccasins!<br />
<br />
They are so adorable and actually not all that hard to make. They are a bit time consuming because you have to sew slowly, but the end result is SO worth it!<br />
<br />

<br />
These three pairs I made for my niece! I tried a free pattern I found online, but ended up buying a pattern from Etsy. For your first pair, you might want to try using Suede first. It's a lot easier to work with than the leather. The leather I used, is also from Etsy!<br />

<br />
I need to start changing up my quilts a bit, but I love the look of the Jelly Roll Race Quilts and seem to sew a lot of them.<br />
<br />
I don't remember why I bought this fabric, but once I was half way done with it, I decided it was the perfect quilt to sew for my mom's upcoming birthday. I have made a lot of quilts for family members, but this is the first I made for my mom.<br />

<br />
Last summer after we took our first plane ride with both kids and after we checked off three more states on my son's scratch off US State Map, we decided that we should officially try to see all 50 States before the kids graduate high school!<br />
<br />
Currently, our 8 year old son has been to 15 states and our 5 year old daughter has been to 11 states.<br />
<br />
We are very relaxed with what counts as a state visit. We just have to walk around in it.<br />

<br />
It was one year ago this week we made our first family trip to Walt Disney World. Yes Walt Disney World in JUNE!! It is currently 95 degrees in Wisconsin and this weather slightly reminded us about how insanely hot it was last summer on our amazing week in Florida. It was over 100 degrees every day, and it was HOT!!!<br />
<br />
While we had an absolutely amazing time, and I can't wait to go back, next time I will do everything in my power not to go over the summer months. In all of our pictures you can tell we are covered in sweat.<br />
<br />
Disney World being so amazing, you often only see the fabulous pictures, because for the most part it is amazing and fabulous. Below are four of my favorite pictures from our trip. They didn't make Facebook but they show the other side of Disney. The tired, exhausted, hot kids side! Which you will have any time of year.<br />

If you want to survive Disney World in the insane heat here are things we couldn't survive without.<br />
1. Stroller - we brought our UppaBaby G-Lite but rent one, if you don't bring one. Our 7 year old ended up riding most of the time while our 4 year old had to be carried, we could have easily used a double and we don't use strollers any more.<br />
2. <a href="https://amzn.to/2lerv9Z" target="_blank">A Cooling towel </a><br />
3. Money for Water - we brought water bottles in every morning, but we ended up buying bottled water from the stands all over the park. It was just so hot and we just desperately wanted ice cold water.<br />
4. A Fan spray bottle combo. I debated buying one from Amazon before we left and I didn't. The first morning we walked 5 feet into The Magic Kingdom and paid $20 for one. But it was so worth it. And our original one stopped working and my husband exchanged the broken one for a working one!<br />
<br />
Disney World is truly an amazing trip. And our kids being 4 and 7 were a perfect age for it. The best part was seeing the magic through their eyes. For months before our daughter was talking about how she was going to dance with the beast. And she did, and that made it so worth it!<br />

My five year old is Maxi Dress Obsessed!!! And maybe that is because I only wear Maxi dresses. Stores have a few child sized maxi dresses but not a lot, so I decided to seek out a cute pattern and make her one myself. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
After some debating on which pattern, I purchased this <a href="https://www.etsy.com/transaction/1444132152" target="_blank">awesome pattern from Etsy.</a> It's called the Bella's Dress and Maxi by <a href="https://www.etsy.com/shop/SimpleLifePatternCo?ref=l2-shopheader-name" target="_blank">SimpleLifePatternCo</a>.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUjOY0euO17aMfTRg-9Z-af3XDqhlio9qVadBTycogZNbJp0KBo_L-0CrsMQiCr36YQIDkqleyFZEp-EMSdJdddq9jyM9Dv60VHdPaC0gldCo4L9R0m-3ARBFEXAFe3fCv_KK11zs9xQlZ/s1600/maxidress2+%25281%2529.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUjOY0euO17aMfTRg-9Z-af3XDqhlio9qVadBTycogZNbJp0KBo_L-0CrsMQiCr36YQIDkqleyFZEp-EMSdJdddq9jyM9Dv60VHdPaC0gldCo4L9R0m-3ARBFEXAFe3fCv_KK11zs9xQlZ/s320/maxidress2+%25281%2529.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
I made a size 6 for my very tall daughter and being a maxi dress, this calls for close to 3 yards of fabric for a size 6. I did not have 3 yards of the same fabric on hand and before ordering fabric just for a dress I decided to make a "practice" dress. I did not want to waste 3 yards of fabric and not have a dress turn out. So I picked 3 different random prints I had on hand to come up with the best combination to make a "practice" dress.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8Kn0inmcBjorWvRJ_asx3RepjiZGptJsznmXczKbNhV5hqeTiH7Icm58ntz7_vaXAq9rSFCj3hLKGA5uSgZibwGOCvNI1Ory3fAXH2MpuRiRcUONpp2GTKNjljwNOr3SwjBLKWVFRDtPa/s1600/maxidress2+%25282%2529.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8Kn0inmcBjorWvRJ_asx3RepjiZGptJsznmXczKbNhV5hqeTiH7Icm58ntz7_vaXAq9rSFCj3hLKGA5uSgZibwGOCvNI1Ory3fAXH2MpuRiRcUONpp2GTKNjljwNOr3SwjBLKWVFRDtPa/s320/maxidress2+%25282%2529.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
I LOVE this little practice dress!!!! The combo came together nicely and my daughter LOVES it as well. She tries to wear it every day! The pattern was so easy to follow and the dress was very easy to make! I was very impressed with this pattern and I can't wait to make it again.<br />
<br />
I accidentally messed up cutting the skirt fabric so it ended up being a little shorter than it was supposed to be, but I like this length on her. I also did not have enough of the navy ruffle fabric, so I purposely made that layer shorter.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzfg3n_HCIhrZRGVVWkjjXYUX1cbLZHMsPXnhqTiOJ9IJYpFE2yOhU1bEyRZNbfQ4Yv4DhrJ6bFofsHG77VIxU6uAIDGaan4b_jqim2AL0le6a0lvAUd9DSh29LgYHSvJfTKBeoyWuDMJY/s1600/maxidress3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzfg3n_HCIhrZRGVVWkjjXYUX1cbLZHMsPXnhqTiOJ9IJYpFE2yOhU1bEyRZNbfQ4Yv4DhrJ6bFofsHG77VIxU6uAIDGaan4b_jqim2AL0le6a0lvAUd9DSh29LgYHSvJfTKBeoyWuDMJY/s320/maxidress3.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
This is a fabulous pattern if you are looking to make a maxi dress!! (And it twirls, because every 5 year old needs a good twirl dress!!!)A;gehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00717947534380975276noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-375652924660701866.post-90631152792350299522018-06-04T14:56:00.000-05:002018-06-04T14:56:06.788-05:00Quilt Number Ten!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Quilt Ten!!!! This is probably the second quilt I ever started. I can't even tell you when I started this. I made the blocks for this at a local quilt shop in a block of the month club. The quilt shop is no longer in business and has been for a while. So this has been sitting in my closet unfinished FOREVER!!!<br />
<br />
I quilted it right before Christmas this past year on my first ever experience using a long arm machine. I rented one from a different local quilting shop. I also quilted quilt seven and quilt eight at the same time. It just again took me forever to actually bind the quilt and finish it.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrmwbuFKKwdXBaixT54LQt1nJJwQBSWPWSbSromeZnOwVlc8H959sadVpANkqifvZf25NzX8OXIThkYGRV63F_FKtXGQgMXkVaZl4vl1glNbr_wJ0rXDucbev5MzxHnkUK9_cc4uqbm3Ve/s1600/IMG_7569.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrmwbuFKKwdXBaixT54LQt1nJJwQBSWPWSbSromeZnOwVlc8H959sadVpANkqifvZf25NzX8OXIThkYGRV63F_FKtXGQgMXkVaZl4vl1glNbr_wJ0rXDucbev5MzxHnkUK9_cc4uqbm3Ve/s320/IMG_7569.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
I had a lot of fun using the long arm machine. I was so intimidated by it, but it was so easy! I can't wait to use it again. But for the small throw quilts I usually sew, I can just do those on my machine at home.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEN9d-BrPcsZN8c9T3I5Amhc0RJJTk5B6-fTDGKKJt1WoBpEhrN-rdogXUbzMeSEzNYOAH4z7z3QYTHqmVwY2W09Oy0nI6tJYNzzwZLosVW1hskiOGbTcpDNtEflmz1KkFadna3TuiShLp/s1600/IMG_7576.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEN9d-BrPcsZN8c9T3I5Amhc0RJJTk5B6-fTDGKKJt1WoBpEhrN-rdogXUbzMeSEzNYOAH4z7z3QYTHqmVwY2W09Oy0nI6tJYNzzwZLosVW1hskiOGbTcpDNtEflmz1KkFadna3TuiShLp/s320/IMG_7576.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
I like the start quilting pattern I picked. It was completely different than what I would normally go for.<br />

Again this is probably a quilt that will end up on my daughters bed. Simply because she loves blankets!! And she is a five year old hoarder!<br />

Quilt number nine is a throw quilt I made for absolutely no reason, so it means it's a quilt for me!! Until my blanket loving 5 year old steals it from me and it appears on her bed!<br />

You can almost see, but the backing is a light yellow color. It took me a little longer to finish because I forgot to put my walking foot on my machine, and broke my machine. So I am currently borrowing my sisters sewing machine until I figure out a new one!<br />

I knew which colors I wanted to put in my then 2 year old's room. Pinks and mint!<br />

I gave it to her for Christmas this past year. And because she loves blankets, she was very excited about it. I quilted it at a local quilting shop, using their long arm. I love the heart quilting pattern!<br />

<br />
We recently had our fireplace redone! We have been in our house almost three years and I have been dreaming of these built-ins for my fireplace since day one!<br />
<br />
I can't even believe my before picture any more!! This has been finished for about a month now, and I simply can't believe the change! My before! Can you believe it???<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRKQrMLmIkQNUl-u6iptGUBfFCiEwSR10GaDfcnhzhr-WrhZvDdeGJ2B9hxMySg1hVuaRozCZQZOLvZvZ_0f9TQaksAqSYCeXH6E3lUqhq_R3LqMu3shhyv0ymwpFHv7qMxJsImKOe7WV1/s1600/Fireplace_before2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRKQrMLmIkQNUl-u6iptGUBfFCiEwSR10GaDfcnhzhr-WrhZvDdeGJ2B9hxMySg1hVuaRozCZQZOLvZvZ_0f9TQaksAqSYCeXH6E3lUqhq_R3LqMu3shhyv0ymwpFHv7qMxJsImKOe7WV1/s320/Fireplace_before2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
To the right of our old sad fireplace, was all of our internet boxes. After we tried to move them to a different room, I decided that instead of buying a cabinet to hide them in, I would just put in the extra money to have built-ins made. And since I was having built-ins built, I decided it was the perfect time to beef up the actual fireplace as well!!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHnuutwy2xJ8TROhf5uB0gs8cNOTREkWmNOAdkO8LS8GHYKE9aR7oBiREUDone31tANLdoSovvBYje5kP8JzIotUnmFqgEvnfrFdqnJ-V2xocjaD_u6buugkzhpymi2sm-IakcpAqhRhFd/s1600/Fireplace_before.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHnuutwy2xJ8TROhf5uB0gs8cNOTREkWmNOAdkO8LS8GHYKE9aR7oBiREUDone31tANLdoSovvBYje5kP8JzIotUnmFqgEvnfrFdqnJ-V2xocjaD_u6buugkzhpymi2sm-IakcpAqhRhFd/s320/Fireplace_before.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
When we were picking out everything for our new house, the fireplace options were seriously lacking. I hated the tile from day one. It wasn't what I wanted. I also did not like how the mantle was so small. There was dry wall on the sides of the fireplace. It just seemed small.<br />
<br />
My husband and I are not blessed with the talent to build something like this, but luckily my mom has a cousin who does AMAZING work!! The only problem with hiring him is he is SO BUSY!!!! (I joked and told him to put me on his schedule for 2020 for something, I don't know what, but I want him to do something!!!) He has built custom mudroom shelving for us as well! And the other nice thing is he lets me paint the cabinets before he installs them. It saves me a bit of money by doing that myself and then I feel like I helped!<br />
<br />
A couple in progress shots! It took him 3 days to install it with putting in the new tile, and letting everything dry before grouting! But it was SO worth it!!<br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Figuring out what to have him build was the fun part! I spent hours on Pinterest looking at different ideas. I ended up using this pin as <a href="https://www.pinterest.com/pin/72479875236644332/" target="_blank">inspiration</a>. We have a very similar layout, so this pin was a great inspiration. Another big debate was what to put in for tile. I originally got a quote for porcelain tile to look like marble and then marble. After thinking about it for about an hour, I decided in this fireplace I was changing everything I didn't like about the current one So it was an easy decision to put in Marble, and I am SOOO glad I did. It made a HUGE difference and looks amazing!!! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I am SO happy with how these turned out!!! I seriously can't believe this is my house!!! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Decorating the shelves was also so much fun! I also had him add in an extra electrical outlet on each side of the fireplace so I could put a lamp on the top shelf. Our room is so dark at night that this has made a huge difference! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivPH-XjUMy8aeVvbCPRO9ky8YdAZ4NEFHCSpRXs7OzZqmMcNGKuS48GIUty7TKzncv8CDibLBKmAPNnbK29I9lnaWVkh3RUGbBBpnWhyBaE14hUoHF8SCm6Qy5EQwO3CWTv65wIPVEdhS2/s1600/IMG_0551.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1201" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivPH-XjUMy8aeVvbCPRO9ky8YdAZ4NEFHCSpRXs7OzZqmMcNGKuS48GIUty7TKzncv8CDibLBKmAPNnbK29I9lnaWVkh3RUGbBBpnWhyBaE14hUoHF8SCm6Qy5EQwO3CWTv65wIPVEdhS2/s320/IMG_0551.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
Quilt number SEVEN, was a Christmas gift for my new baby niece. It was finished about a day before Christmas, so I wrapped it and never took a picture of it! For this quilt I used two Jelly Rolls, but only about half from each pack. I had a really hard time finding only a pink and grey Jelly Roll, so I had to remove the blue!<br />
<br />
I used 6.5 inch strips for this quilt and ended up making 80 - 6.5 by 6.5 inch squares. For my back I used super soft matching flannel!! It was so cozy, I wanted to take a nap with it!<br />
<br />
Originally quilt number 7 was going to be a quilt for me. But that quilt was set aside to finish this one first. I might have finally finished that quilt a few months too late.<br />

And April Fools Day is a special day in my house, because its also my son's birthday!<br />
<br />
Last year we hosted his birthday party on April Fools Day, so we had to have a couple treats! Look at all of these yummy treats! Who doesn't love Cheetos, Tootsie Pops and Easter Candy!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhutQkQgV1SC7zGLcco6Ma4XNT00Rf1-crDbLXeF-Yel9w2k7xi-_z-OTdY8V7rfW7jbiOADzOet0xBrQHibAojraTe2HLgkSI7i-b7BVZztthdI5hrKPYeVzllIBBRTXTq5nQ01f3xMFOT/s1600/april_fools_day_treats.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="960" data-original-width="797" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhutQkQgV1SC7zGLcco6Ma4XNT00Rf1-crDbLXeF-Yel9w2k7xi-_z-OTdY8V7rfW7jbiOADzOet0xBrQHibAojraTe2HLgkSI7i-b7BVZztthdI5hrKPYeVzllIBBRTXTq5nQ01f3xMFOT/s400/april_fools_day_treats.jpg" width="331" /></a></div>
<br />
Well this is all actually healthy food!!!<br />
<br />
The Tootsie Pops are actually Broccoli - I opened the suckers and kept the wrapper. You need to also buy new sticks.<br />
<br />
The Easter Candy is grapes, wrapped in the Easter Candy Wrappers.<br />
<br />
The Cheetos are actually carrots. Carefully open the bags from the bottom, and add in a few baby carrots. I used a hot glue gun to VERY CAREFULLY glue them shut again. <br />
<br />
My kids are already dreading the treats for this years April Fools Day because they are expecting the tricks!!<br />
<br />
Happy April Fools Day!!!!<br />

Who doesn't need a little happy boost ever so often! I love the combo on these oils, AND this could also be an amazing perfume. It smells so yummy! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<br />
My happy blend contains:<br />
5 drops Lavender<br />
5 drops Joy<br />
5 drops Orange<br />
5 drops Stress Away<br />
5 drops Valor<br />
<br />
Add it all to a 10mL roller bottle and top with your carrier oil of choice! It also helps if you use these insanely cute glass roller bottles from Root + Petal Roller Balls! I may be slightly obsessed with these roller bottles! So cute! <br />

For her birthday she pretty much only received bath bombs from Lush. So for Christmas, being the DIY lover that I am I started looking for a DIY kit I could give her, where she could make her own bath bombs. But the only thing I could find was a very cheap looking toy kit with horrible reviews. So I decided I would DIY my own DIY Bath Bomb Kit!!! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgddI-GydhBZIB31alQPbDmnqYJ_haXMdkmxEJ1m5Fk1PD_PMhxQlah0rQ8BP-n6ACMpuBr9Ss4bO5J0Wj1YsHwQK6EXmBaFFsFMc94wuDxkrj4P01EjM7DOQ3Qly11a6RvxM1ogW8fMSN9/s1600/diy_bath_bomb_kit8.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgddI-GydhBZIB31alQPbDmnqYJ_haXMdkmxEJ1m5Fk1PD_PMhxQlah0rQ8BP-n6ACMpuBr9Ss4bO5J0Wj1YsHwQK6EXmBaFFsFMc94wuDxkrj4P01EjM7DOQ3Qly11a6RvxM1ogW8fMSN9/s320/diy_bath_bomb_kit8.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
First I had my very talented sister create a printable of the recipe I use for <a href="http://decoratingthedorchesterway.blogspot.com/2017/11/bath-bomb-recipe-that-actually-works.html" target="_blank">my bath bombs</a>. To see my recipe for bath bombs and directions on making them, <a href="http://decoratingthedorchesterway.blogspot.com/2017/11/bath-bomb-recipe-that-actually-works.html" target="_blank">visit here</a>. In my kit, I included enough ingredients to make bath bombs twice. So I included double the ingredients of what is listed on the recipe card. Then I purchased another set of the <a href="http://amzn.to/2zVIwQa" target="_blank">bath bomb</a> molds I like. <br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisWhZBslkJM7xvihc6aetrNZ7ls7-BOfVftY7459YI1fsX8qcPuRfav_kaiBbWLj5Wg4MKpQxhcP42_TMwYHH-lYH-1kKBfhqZHYfJnsXWztd1CWQsHnlTlns6y9FnjfxeIvVU7VB4XiLE/s1600/diy_bath_bomb_kit2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1600" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisWhZBslkJM7xvihc6aetrNZ7ls7-BOfVftY7459YI1fsX8qcPuRfav_kaiBbWLj5Wg4MKpQxhcP42_TMwYHH-lYH-1kKBfhqZHYfJnsXWztd1CWQsHnlTlns6y9FnjfxeIvVU7VB4XiLE/s320/diy_bath_bomb_kit2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
In my DIY Bath Bomb kit I included 4 samples of oils for her. I picked Lemon, Lavender, Grapefruit and Ylang Ylang. On the recipe card I suggested combinations of oils. I used <a href="http://amzn.to/2jFUHWa" target="_blank">1/4 dram glass bottles</a> to give her just enough of essential oil. In each dram I put about 10-12 drops. I used my <a href="http://amzn.to/2zW6UkK" target="_blank">Brother p-touch label maker</a> to make the labels for these tiny bottles. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
The almond oil I put in a <a href="http://amzn.to/2nqznth" target="_blank">1oz amber glass bottle with a dropper</a>. And the rubbing alcohol I put in a 2oz amber glass bottle with a spray top. The dry ingredients I put in <a href="http://amzn.to/2nneXkE" target="_blank">small kraft colored bags</a>. Then I added a paper label to everything.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEji27DoPZcj1bd3kKPmXKHX3d8OqQu1xjjecntM-7Mh3PV-maa8UthbyQHFZA2yLtBv7zYXUW_uC9sIQTBsV9NeflqN7e7VZU1CKTLo8SQwbDs8NcUIiubCcn4IitYDuRlSYUEl06rIFCG0/s1600/diy_bath_bomb_kit6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEji27DoPZcj1bd3kKPmXKHX3d8OqQu1xjjecntM-7Mh3PV-maa8UthbyQHFZA2yLtBv7zYXUW_uC9sIQTBsV9NeflqN7e7VZU1CKTLo8SQwbDs8NcUIiubCcn4IitYDuRlSYUEl06rIFCG0/s400/diy_bath_bomb_kit6.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
Lastly, I put it all in a cute box with the printed directions and added a cute ribbon to the top. Just like that I have a great gift for a 12 year old Bath Bomb Lover! <br />

My DIY Bath Bomb DIY Kit turned out a thousand times nicer than the kit I was looking at purchasing for her. I am glad I spent the time to put this together for her! <br />

With it being winter, who doesn't need an immunity booster in their life! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I love this little blend of Young Living Essential Oils. Everyone in my family uses this blend and we roll it on our necks, chests and behind our ears. Since I got my tonsils taken out a year ago I have a lot of ear pain and this little blend works wonders for that, so I go through this blend rather quickly!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
For this immunity booster blend we use </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
5 drops of Tea Tree</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
5 drops of Lemon</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
5 drops of Oregano </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
5 drops of Purification </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
5 drops of Thieves</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Add all of these into a 10 mL roller bottle and top with your favorite carrier oil. I used these adorably cute <a href="http://amzn.to/2nho1HV" target="_blank">Root and Petal Roller Bottles</a>. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
I have tried several bath bomb recipes that have not worked, but I finally have one that works and I love it!<br />
<br />
For this one you need the following ingredients.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGuWW04KpB9PVAfhyphenhyphenHScplLNDzP3a6j6fM0phec1y08p5Q6tyOONK8agvyTknAvGhTg31HpjkiZIA9Fr8Y_QN-VWvGSozIWl7LTY8X-Xjzr4s46ZXqUPSWdySZe-knlcWEr8aq5Wm1kYQc/s1600/diy_lush_bathbomb_1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGuWW04KpB9PVAfhyphenhyphenHScplLNDzP3a6j6fM0phec1y08p5Q6tyOONK8agvyTknAvGhTg31HpjkiZIA9Fr8Y_QN-VWvGSozIWl7LTY8X-Xjzr4s46ZXqUPSWdySZe-knlcWEr8aq5Wm1kYQc/s320/diy_lush_bathbomb_1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Baking Soda – 1 cups<br />
<a href="http://amzn.to/2zdLN91" target="_blank"> Citric Acid</a> – 1/2 cup<br />
<a href="http://amzn.to/2hMjS9k" target="_blank">Corn Starch</a> – 1/2 cup<br />
<a href="http://amzn.to/2iIwb78" target="_blank">Almond Oil</a> – 2 tsp.<br />
Essential Oils – 12 drops<br />
Coloring –4 -6 drops<br />
Rubbing Alcohol in a spray bottle<br />
<a href="http://amzn.to/2zdLkDN" target="_blank">Bath Bomb Molds</a><br />
<br />
Baking Soda, Citric Acid, Corn Starch and Almond Oil (or substitute for any other oil you have on hand) can all be found in your grocery store in the baking isle. I use Young Living Essential Oils.<br />
<br />
The bath bomb molds I have used and like can be found <a href="http://amzn.to/2hOi13O" target="_blank">here</a>. They are nice because they include a couple different sizes. I like the metal molds for bath bombs, because they easily hold their shape and the bombs are very easy to remove.<br />
<br />
Making these bath bombs is very simple, just make sure you mix everything well!<br />
<br />
First combine dry ingredients in a bowl and mix well.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYmCu04Qhgow3lsBcD-Pckgitff6rsdbxw9tnluakL8GGbc3w_wiGCQpdtIa1RGQLXzHbrbqTphDjBdHIjWBcS-1ivD_-clKqdL9ww-NJGopokBtg7dYk9mGtcrHGg7Cb9exu32UUNNgrR/s1600/diy_lush_bathbomb_2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYmCu04Qhgow3lsBcD-Pckgitff6rsdbxw9tnluakL8GGbc3w_wiGCQpdtIa1RGQLXzHbrbqTphDjBdHIjWBcS-1ivD_-clKqdL9ww-NJGopokBtg7dYk9mGtcrHGg7Cb9exu32UUNNgrR/s320/diy_lush_bathbomb_2.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
In a separate small bowl combine essential oil and almond oil. If you don't have Almond Oil on hand you can use any other carrier oil you have, including Coconut Oil, Jojoba Oil, Sunflower Oil, etc., even Olive Oil would work fine. Again, you want to mix this well!!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj55i1cN0BGSzfmxPEwfFwlOBvfFYk2DeVSwBRBkDIV16z1Ox-qlcRhW9un2slZOIl0S7cgKek-Mk86FTWj-M_rn137K3uE0tzfdFp0Bz4dW-pUJ3gJ-uIqQfn10d3L5ImqEWzaTn1Z_hYr/s1600/diy_lush_bathbomb_3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj55i1cN0BGSzfmxPEwfFwlOBvfFYk2DeVSwBRBkDIV16z1Ox-qlcRhW9un2slZOIl0S7cgKek-Mk86FTWj-M_rn137K3uE0tzfdFp0Bz4dW-pUJ3gJ-uIqQfn10d3L5ImqEWzaTn1Z_hYr/s200/diy_lush_bathbomb_3.jpg" width="150" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjsIOYfrQkuPJbPRLGK1fRzENH9oBUxVzGHrcJuHBDki1HcmWKm70I8cLwZUAFCjA4GYvyN1A-6EFL9himXBkoFwKo8rFS9rJs8kskp99CJqzhgymwWmVflksjOoOSJ6aOcBAfeBzKsx15a/s1600/diy_lush_bathbomb_4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjsIOYfrQkuPJbPRLGK1fRzENH9oBUxVzGHrcJuHBDki1HcmWKm70I8cLwZUAFCjA4GYvyN1A-6EFL9himXBkoFwKo8rFS9rJs8kskp99CJqzhgymwWmVflksjOoOSJ6aOcBAfeBzKsx15a/s200/diy_lush_bathbomb_4.jpg" width="150" /></a></div>
<br />
Slowly mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients. <b>Go slow!!</b> And mix until no more lumps! I find a fork works well for fixing, you can push out the lumps. Mix in coloring (if you desire) until no more lumps.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9pcx78XUztazDjwGzKxObVYB3HXDRp9OtcvBlDO3jNchS0Gp7E6GImVh_CQ5v9z6NTh0rc393mpPLQYqjwNNZfMh3zb_ztmasUmFeFnBs-8f0RMq1W2nD1Dg0TfddDHOx46FgwLkLddDc/s1600/diy_lush_bathbomb_5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9pcx78XUztazDjwGzKxObVYB3HXDRp9OtcvBlDO3jNchS0Gp7E6GImVh_CQ5v9z6NTh0rc393mpPLQYqjwNNZfMh3zb_ztmasUmFeFnBs-8f0RMq1W2nD1Dg0TfddDHOx46FgwLkLddDc/s320/diy_lush_bathbomb_5.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
Spray in rubbing alcohol 4 to 5 sprays at a time, continually string until mixture resembles we sand. You will need <b>several </b>sprays of rubbing alcohol to get damp sand texture. <b>But don't add in too much! Add it slowly, so you don't add more than you need. </b>Again I like to use a fork, until it stats to get close to that wet sand phase, then I use my hands! This is the step in the past where I have said, oh I can just slowly pour in rubbing alcohol and it will work just fine. I think the spray is key, so you don't add too much liquid.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeHqLoDme64UZp6pgA4dm0vXNkq8lK1qE8BFJMJIJKsLBLBCkjpzDusiE0Dusgo8eLBrZdjGZ60HrBTLK88iLqnzTJWZldGrP3FP1wtuLgQtpNbgNTEtrl42wbfkibSwvGZR3n9iqbtCy3/s1600/diy_lush_bathbomb_6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeHqLoDme64UZp6pgA4dm0vXNkq8lK1qE8BFJMJIJKsLBLBCkjpzDusiE0Dusgo8eLBrZdjGZ60HrBTLK88iLqnzTJWZldGrP3FP1wtuLgQtpNbgNTEtrl42wbfkibSwvGZR3n9iqbtCy3/s320/diy_lush_bathbomb_6.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
Looking like wet sand! It clumps together nicely, and holds the shape I form with my hand.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-_njng9Xl47zGv-IPtB_xMqv3_VT9lZelaEmTYZu2byuwPBMK0SXIVtTRG4_s5UogbVmGtTEUTdnWVmYwg9T5hzQmXxqNzxdCRj2LpCgOrhV-Vcpi9ykjK5eYUEI-zq3J1bnN0-8z0g1B/s1600/diy_lush_bathbomb_7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-_njng9Xl47zGv-IPtB_xMqv3_VT9lZelaEmTYZu2byuwPBMK0SXIVtTRG4_s5UogbVmGtTEUTdnWVmYwg9T5hzQmXxqNzxdCRj2LpCgOrhV-Vcpi9ykjK5eYUEI-zq3J1bnN0-8z0g1B/s320/diy_lush_bathbomb_7.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Fill each side of the mold with the mixture (tightly packing it) so it overflows the top. Firmly press the two sides together, removing any excess from the sides. Let sit for a minute or two.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Lightly tap the mold with a spoon to gently release the bath bomb from the mold. Let dry over night. Finally ENJOY!!!!<br />
<br />

<br />
<b>What essential oil combination to use?</b><br />
<br />
For these bath bombs, I wanted a relaxing bath bomb, so I used only Lavender oil.<br />
<br />
If I wanted more of a energizing bath blend, I could have used 6 drops of grapefruit essential oil and 6 drops of lemon essential oil A calming bath with only Joy essential oil would be wonderful! Or if you are feeling congested a blend of Eucalyptus (only a few drops or it could irritate your skin) and Peppermint would be soothing!<br />
<br />
Using this recipe, and the bath bomb molds I suggested, I only made two large and one small bath bomb. The large molds are pretty large, close to the size of a Lush Bath Bomb. This recipe is easy to double. Just double all the ingredients listed above and use 20 of your favorite essential oil blends instead of 12.<br />

<br />
<br />
When I started with Essential Oils I didn't really know where to start. I had my oils, but now what?? I have included a pretty big list of items below that I love and use frequently when mixing up and using my oils. But if you are just starting this might be seem like a lot. So if you want to start small and have no idea where to start...... <br />
<br />
<strong>If you only buy two things and the VERY basics to get started!!!</strong> <br />
Ok its three things, but you can pick your favorite color of roller ball bottles. <br />
<br />
<iframe frameborder="0" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" scrolling="no" src="//ws-na.amazon-adsystem.com/widgets/q?ServiceVersion=20070822&OneJS=1&Operation=GetAdHtml&MarketPlace=US&source=ss&ref=as_ss_li_til&ad_type=product_link&tracking_id=decoratingthe-20&marketplace=amazon&region=US&placement=B075JXC3VQ&asins=B075JXC3VQ&linkId=38b20c9ffbeb81b9350cbb4e229a2317&show_border=true&link_opens_in_new_window=true" style="height: 240px; width: 120px;"></iframe><iframe frameborder="0" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" scrolling="no" src="//ws-na.amazon-adsystem.com/widgets/q?ServiceVersion=20070822&OneJS=1&Operation=GetAdHtml&MarketPlace=US&source=ss&ref=as_ss_li_til&ad_type=product_link&tracking_id=decoratingthe-20&marketplace=amazon&region=US&placement=B01182NX52&asins=B01182NX52&linkId=8a3e736e9497102518facaf43c232351&show_border=true&link_opens_in_new_window=true" style="height: 240px; width: 120px;"></iframe><iframe frameborder="0" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" scrolling="no" src="//ws-na.amazon-adsystem.com/widgets/q?ServiceVersion=20070822&OneJS=1&Operation=GetAdHtml&MarketPlace=US&source=ss&ref=as_ss_li_til&ad_type=product_link&tracking_id=decoratingthe-20&marketplace=amazon&region=US&placement=B00PEUVPZU&asins=B00PEUVPZU&linkId=120aa621869e04ea61623208f860ae7a&show_border=true&link_opens_in_new_window=true" style="height: 240px; width: 120px;"></iframe>
<br />
<br />
Now that you used up your first ten The Root and Petal roller bottles (it didn't take me long!!!), and now that you are hooked and you need to know what to add to your collection to mix up any Essential Oil mixture, my list is below! <br />
<br />
<strong>General Glassware</strong><br />
The Root and Petal bottles look so pretty but there are a lot of other options for roller bottles in the 10mL size. After roller bottles, a good 1 or 2oz bottle with a dropper is good for making your own face serums and beard oils. Small spray bottles are good for making room sprays. Larger bottles are good for making your own cleaning supplies! <br />

<br />
<strong>Carrier Oils</strong><br />
This fractionated coconut oil is my favorite. It's a must for roller ball blends. The Organic Jojoba oil is great for face serums and the 3 pack of oils is great for trying different carrier oils. <br />

When I started making all of my roller ball blends, I needed to figure out an easy and cute way to label my bottles. While I have a vinyl cutting machine and for about two seconds I thought I could make super cute labels using that, (until I remembered my love hate relationship with the machine!!!) I decided that wasn't practical for labeling the bottles quickly and easily. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBriCLgCbUiAlwUuLq8Ma-AJr5_TtoMTRPvROASe4vdXZwfprV_LarY-W5E6acOTnVoZBSadWIFOKJmdThb9dAZ3ScubWBrQP9wzLtFkjwav4tuuDIVbtxBvptK6fhhUC3W7bOoiOf9K_A/s1600/IMG_9453.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBriCLgCbUiAlwUuLq8Ma-AJr5_TtoMTRPvROASe4vdXZwfprV_LarY-W5E6acOTnVoZBSadWIFOKJmdThb9dAZ3ScubWBrQP9wzLtFkjwav4tuuDIVbtxBvptK6fhhUC3W7bOoiOf9K_A/s400/IMG_9453.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br />
Then one day I discovered this amazing little label maker the <a href="http://amzn.to/2hPnA5M" target="_blank">Brother P-Touch Label Maker</a> and its not only makes very cute little labels, but I can create them so fast, without getting out my vinyl cutter. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXjLKpGi_8BQSEDdLXuJZJGI1WrkmqQjg1C5UPROPsHS_LhfCoswZRsywb62eQsXSotzVnYrR8g9OIpF-RvCBEfHoekzrY4_A17DZq9oN_YuWqJEdUkOBa3Z1rLnXd-O987aih1ls3qVEA/s1600/IMG_9467.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXjLKpGi_8BQSEDdLXuJZJGI1WrkmqQjg1C5UPROPsHS_LhfCoswZRsywb62eQsXSotzVnYrR8g9OIpF-RvCBEfHoekzrY4_A17DZq9oN_YuWqJEdUkOBa3Z1rLnXd-O987aih1ls3qVEA/s400/IMG_9467.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
And the best part (besides being so cute) is that they actually stay attached to the glass bottles, even if you accidentally get a little oil on the labels. Have I mentioned I love making roller blends!<br />

I recently made a major life change for my family and signed up with Young Living! We had not used Essential Oils before this, but I had heard a lot of great things about them, and decided it was worth checking them out to see if I could help with some of my family concerns without resorting to medication and chemicals. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
4 months in and I am hooked!!! I can't believe I didn't know about essential oils before now. But I am so glad we finally made the switch. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
They say the average person applies 300 chemicals to their body every day! I wanted to try and cut down my families exposure to all the unsafe chemicals, and we can do this with essential oils. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Three of my favorite oils are Lavender, Frankincense and Thieves. We are constantly diffusing lavender in our house, and I have made a night time roller blend for both of my kids to help promote relaxing before bed. Lavender smells amazing and its just an all around useful oil! I love my frankincense oil! I made myself a face serum that has frankincense in it. It has actually decreased the redness in my face! I roll frankincense all over my neck and face, I just love it! I also love diffusing Thieves. We recently had a run of colds in our family and I diffused Thieves constantly. It cut down on our sick time! Which with two kids is a must! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I also recently replaced all of our cleaning products with natural cleaning products. Including Young Livings Thieves cleaning products. Two months ago, after returning home from the cleaning ladies cleaning my house, I had to diffuse Purification to get rid of the awful intense chemical they sprayed in my house to clean it. It was awful and not only that, I have no clue what was in that chemical that I was exposing my family too. Now my cleaning ladies (and myself) use my natural cleaning supplies made with my Young Living Essential Oils and the last time they cleaned the house it smelled much better!! No toxic fumes!! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I was attracted to Young Living because of their Seed to Seal process, which is a promise to integrity. The company is 23 years old and they add no fillers, no additives, just the oils!<br />

Once you purchase the Premium Starter kit you can simpy enjoy your oils and be under absolutely no obligation to do anything in the future. If you would like to continue purchasing oils at the 24% off wholesale rate, you simply need to place a 50PV order a year (most likely only $50) With a wholesale membership you can always choose to share your love of oils like I am with you, but again you are never under any obligation to do so!!!<br />
