Anthropologie always does an amazing job staging their stores. This wall sums up what I’m going for in my new bedroom–colorful florals against my turqoiusey/cornflower walls. I’m using pinks and blues along with accents of red, orange and yellow.

Lately I’ve been drawn to more classic artwork. This poster was on an incredible sale at Allposters.com, I think because it’s an odd size and has writing on the bottom. But I didn’t care because I wanted a casual look on my wall. This large Matisse has all the colors of my room and was definitely bang for my buck!

This pillow cover is actually a scarf I found at Kohl’s. I fell in love with the pattern and had to have it. It’s simply safety-pinned around a pillow form. Easy peasy!

Picking out our dorm decor was the best part of preparing for freshman year. But the decorating options a decade a few years ago were nothing like they are today. From all I see when I’m out shopping, current student rooms must be oases of cuteness and style! This week I’m rolling out a few different collections of my dream dorm rooms, because if I had that time to do over again, I would in a heartbeat.
