I’ve been approached by one of the established photographer in Kuching, Mr Alvin Leong. Alvin Leong is a Certified Professional Photographer with the Australian Institute of Photography and a member of the World Institute of Photographic Masters.

He is also the founder for Alvin Leong Academy of Photography (ALAP). The curriculum highlights on practical knowledge which offers a wide ranging variety of multi-disciplinary courses in Photography. The previous website was created in blog style . According to Mr. Alvin Leong, he needed a website which can portray the courses at the academy, showcase the students work and at the same time improving the layout flow for a better website surfing.

I’ve came out with the idea of creating a minimal theme, yet providing an organized layout of information for the Latest News, Workshops and other Events.

Redstar Presents is a top‐quality live music entertainment & concert promotions business headquartered in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia.

This was a redesign website as the previous website was based on HTML. According to Executive Director of Redstar Presents, Miss Kino, they needed a website that really represents them as concert organizers for Korean artists.

The new website has some improved features such as:

  • Photo Galleries, to showcase the photos of their previous and present events
  • Upcoming Events and Previous Events Pages
  • Facebook Comment feature on the News area, enabling the web visitors to drop their messages on specific news update

MYFLIPPIX! Malaysia is an established photo book printing company in Malaysia and recently they have re-designed their website.

The previous version is Flash-based and most of the users who have iPad or iPhone couldn’t view the website properly on their device. The improved version of this website is WordPress-based. The owner, Mr. Chia, has added few new features for the web visitors, such as:

  • Improved pricing layout for different products
  • Separate pricing page for shipping
  • Idea Center (to give the web visitors some idea on what they can do with photo books)
  • Video tutorial page

This is my second-time participation in Go Bald. Go Bald is a charity event that was held annually to show support and understanding of the ordeal of a child with cancer undergoes by shaving hair. This year, Go Bald will be held at two venues, Miri and Kuching.

Eveline, built in 1911 in Shanghai, is one of the Asia’s oldest Western style sailing yacht.

Based in Malaysia since the mid 1950s and flying the burgees of Malaysia’s Royal Selangor Yacht Club and UK’s Royal Ocean Racing Club and British Classic Yacht Club, she is owned in partnership between H.R.H. Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, Sultan of Selangor, a keen round the world yachtsman and Royal Patron of Royal Selangor Yacht Club and of the Raja Muda Selangor International Regatta and Dato’ Richard Curtis, a Malaysian-resident businessman and former Commodore of Malaysia’s Royal Selangor Yacht Club.

The website is based on WordPress and was designed to suit its antique feature.
