War, "An intense armed conflict between states, governments, societies, or paramilitary groups such as mercenaries, insurgents and militias. It is generally characterized by extreme violence, aggression, destruction, and mortality, using regular or irregular military forces."
India gained it's independence from the British Raj in 1947 and since than India have involved in almost 5 wars against its neighbours over various issues. Out of five 4 are against Pakistan while one against China.

War of 1947 (Against Pakistan)-

Also called, the First Kashmir War and the Indo-Pakistani war of 1947, fought between India and Pakistan over the princely state of Jammu Kashmir. India lost about 1104 valiants while Pakistan lost 6000. After the war, India gained about two-thirds of Kashmir while Pakistan satisfied itself with the remaining one-third.

War of 1965 (Against Pakistan)-

Also called the Indo-Pakistani war of 1965, was fought between India and Pakistan following Pakistan's operation "Gibraltar". Operation Gibraltar was the codename given to the strategy of Pakistan to infiltrate Jammu and Kashmir and instigate the locals in starting a rebellion against the Indian rule there. However, the strategy went away from the outset due to poor coordination, and the infiltrators were soon discovered. This resulted in the war. The total casualties on both the sides is unknown till date. Hostilities between the two countries ended after a United Nations-mandated ceasefire was declared following diplomatic intervention by the Soviet Union and the United States, and the subsequent issuance of the "Tashkent Declaration".

War of 1971 (Against Pakistan)-

The Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 was a military confrontation between India and Pakistan that occurred during the liberation war in East Pakistan (now Bangladesh). Lasting just 13 days, it is one of the shortest wars in history. India approximately lost 3000 brave hearts, while Pakistan lost 9000. Various others were captured. In the memory of this liberation of Bangladesh, "Vijay Diwas" is commemorated every year on 16 December.

War of 1999 (Against Pakistan)-

Also known as the "Kargil War". It was a fully armed conflict between India and Pakistan which took place in the Kargil district of Kashmir and elsewhere along the LOC. India lost 527 braves ( including the brave Capt. Batra, PVC ) while Pakistan faced 700 casualties. In the memory of this war, the Kargil War Memorial is built by the Indian army, in Dras, situated at the foothills of the Tololing hill.

War of 1962 (Against China)-

The Sino-Indian war or the Indo-China war was fought between India and China in 1962. A Chinese disputed Himalayan border was the main cause of the war. India lost 1383 brave hearts, 1696 are still missing and 3968 captured. While on China's part 2022 soldiers lost their lives.

Having such bitter experiences of war, India and China seem heading towards one more. China's actions indicate that it will go the farthest way possible in order to become the super power, either by hook or by crook. Everyone is well aware of China's intentions and the way it is manipulating the small countries indicates the black in the bottom. China is degrading the friendly relations of India and Nepal. Also its suspicious activities in the Galwan Valley and the other areas across the LAC and the de facto border between the two nations, left 20 Indian soldiers martyred, China is yet to officially declare its casualties.

Amongst this tense situation between the two nations there are some intellectual stupids giving their unwanted advices. Many Indian citizens are demanding for the war against China. Most of these are the ones who waste hours and hours of their day in just playing Pubg and other games. The only battlefield they've ever witnessed are handy in their mobiles and so are the other ammunitions. It's my humble request to them to look around out of the virtual world and realise that "revives" are not available here. Once gone is forever gone. Look the pain in the hearts of the family members of the Martyrs. Look at the void that the war left in their lives.We suggest the "Tour Of Duty " for you all would be the best reality check.

What We've seen and witnessed is that a true patriot and soldier never wishes for a War because he's well aware of the consequences it will bring. We've heard many soldiers say, "Walk a mile to avoid a war, but when it gets started don't back down an inch." This is the mere difference between the true Patriots and the social media Patriots.

And every time it had a new topic to invoke.

Sometimes it was fire and sometimes frost.

But this percept was new, in which I was lost.

My heart spoke to me

motherland is wounded,

brothers are bleeding,

citizens turned on and

the rulers of terror are leading.

The mass needs to march then,

why are we yet sleeping?

Innocence is being silenced,

valiant is being broken into pieces,

mother is crying down for sons and widows for husbands.

Indeed martyrdom was aim of their birth.

Why so violence in Kashmir?

Many times to me, my heart spoke

my soldiers are brave, bold and bright.

To stop them, yet undefined is height.

Galwan Clash. How China is Slowly Chipping Away India's Territory.

Allegedly, the clash was triggered by China violating the June 6 agreement, and setting up a post on its side of the LAC. The dispute started over a Chinese tent that was constructed on Sunday night. Indian troops, according to the sources, tore it down. That was after Indian soldiers discovered that Chinese soldiers had not left an area that they had agreed to leave as part of the de-escalation of last month’s border dispute and had instead build a tent in the area. Now a tent might not seem like that big of a deal but it’s part of a pattern. China has chipped away a territory along the disputed frontier seizing about 60 square kilometers in the past two months. This is part of China’s Salami Slicing Strategy. That is, small takeovers of disputed territory piece by piece until they control the whole salami. This is exactly how they took over more and more of South China sea, only they don’t have to build artificial islands on the China-India border. They can build tents.

Indian officials claim that Chinese soldiers were also using clubs wrapped with barbed wire or studded with nails like the ones in the image below. “Indian Troops battled face-to-face for over four hours in the dark, some falling off clips.” News agency ANI quoting sources that 42 Chinese shoulders have also been killed or seriously injured. Though there is no official number for Chinese casualties and if double the number of Chinese soldiers were killed you can see why the Chinese Communist Party might not want to mention that. Infact China hasn’t said much about the Chinese soldiers who died.

A US based space technology company MAXAR Technologies have published satellite images which show road construction and the Chinese military resources at the disputed border areas between India and China. The satellite images of military vehicles and tents deployed to help the PLA forces in the altitude region North Gogra. The satellite images show large-scale PLA troops stationed at Kongka pass which China claims as India’s boundary. However It did remained defiant and has said that it’s natural border extend further east towards Lanark pass, the place where Chinese and India patrolling officers had a face-off back in the year 1959.

China has always had an advantage in Galwan Valley but India too seems better prepared now for any possible incursion. The Indian army engineers have completed a 60 meter bridge over the Galwan river. The same bridge which is said to have triggered aggression, it’s now complete and it will consolidate India hold of the sensitive sector. It will allow Indian infantry to not only swiftly move across the river but also protect a strategic road. The road from darbuk to daulet beg oldie, it’s a 255 km road which is very important and now secured. India has fast-tracked road development at the border in recent years which has resulted better connectivity for Indian forces. Indian government says it will continue to build roads and that upsets China.

One thing that is getting more and more popular in India is the call to boycott Chinese goods, an idea that the Chinese Communist party does not like and suggested India through there national newspaper Economic Times that “India should curb 'boycott China’ voices after border clash.” The Communist party Seemed to like boycotts last month when Chinese officials suggested that Chinese people could boycott Australian exports. That was after Australia called for an investigation into the origin of the Coronavirus. So far the Indian government does not show any signs of ‘curbing’ the calls for a made-in-china boycott and there are reports now that the government may actually fast-track the import restrictions on over 300 China made products.

There is news of some activity along the LAC again. The PLA, Chinese army is conducting large-scale military exercises. It is said to be testing the fire power of its troops in Tibet autonomous region. Dozens of tanks and armed vehicles were seen taking part in the drills here, the theatrics are not stopped. On the Indian side too there’s been some movement. The Indian Air force is moving fighter jets to forward bases. The newly acquired Apache attack helicopter has been deployed in the Ladakh region along with upgraded Mig 29’s. Other critical front line assets like the Sukhoi 30 MPI and the Mirage 2000 and Jaguar fighter jets have also been moved to advanced positions. Recently T-90 Beeshma was moved to border front from where Chinese highway is not more than 50 kilometers. The outposts are being monitored frequently. Indian forces say that they are fully prepared for any further misadventures.

As of now both the military troops have decided to disengage characterising mutual consensus, the move hopes to reduce tensions near the LAC and work-out strategies on ground to maintain peace.

Galwan Valley, India-China Border Brawl

A clash on june 15 in Galwan Valley, which India said took place when a voilent face-off occurred during the de-escalation process, agreed to at the talks of corps commander on June 6, claimed the lives of 20 Indian soldiers. At the corps commander level meet on june 6, both sides agreed "to take practical measures to ease the situation in the border areas." In which China agreed to dismantle the posts.

On june 15 while checking out the spot, Chinese soldiers suddenly attacked Indian officers and soldiers. This triggered intense physical clashes between officers and soldiers on both sides, resulting in casualties.

Foreign Minister S Jaishankar replied that the chinese side premeditated and planned action was behind the violence and casualties . He also added that the chinese side sought to erect a structure in Galwan valley on our side of LAC and set up clash. He also said chinese claims are exaggerated and untenable

Following the skirmish, many questions were raised in India like Why the Indian soldiers were unarmed? Why they did not used weapons when attacked by the PLA soldiers? and Why was artillery not used? To this, the Minister of External Affairs clarified that the Indian soldiers were indeed carrying weapons however they strongly abided by the mutually accepted Rules of Engagement (RoE) and it was the adversary that violated the RoE. A retired Indian Army Officer explained that “using weapons during a scuffle at night could have led to fratricide due to absence of clear distinction between own troops and adversary. Moreover, artillery cannot be used during scuffles due to lack of long safety distances.”

Chinese Claim:

Foreign minister of chinese government on june 19 said it claimed the entire galwan valley, including the areas that are currently on India's side of the LAC

The foreign ministry of China accused India of unilaterally building roads bridges and other facilities in the Galwan valley region. Statement issued by chinese foreign ministry on friday claim that entire Galwan valley up to the confluence point of river shyok and river Galwan into Chinese territory. Newly claimed area include the point where both armies clashed on 15 th june and also the area where India has completed the construction of a bridge over Galwan river.

Before june 19 claims, the border dispute was centred around narrow Galwan valley near the line of control . The western few kilometer along the stretch of the Galwan up to the point where it meets the shyok river, undisputedly belonged to India which China never claimed before june 19 2020

Historical Claims:

According to chinese strategist china has historical rights on the entire Galwan region, multiple accounts of Qing Dynasty have recorded that Galwan valley was the part of Chinese territory during Qing dynasty rule. The Qing Dynasty was the last imperial dynasty of China. It was established in 1636 and ruled China properly from 1644 to 1912. Qing rulers were patrons of Tibetan buddhism

DSDBO (Darbuk shyok daulet beg oldie ) road

China's new claims are triggered by last year's opening of the vital Darbuk shyok daulet beg oldie road. It runs parallel to LAC providing key all weather access to the post at daulat beg oldie, one of the northernmost points in ladakh.

China may also be seeking access to areas closer to the confluence, from where it could neutralize the strategically important DSDBO road.

Importance of DSDBO Road:

Only one metallic road which provide supply to the base in the karakoram pass
Indian army bases and ITBP bases are there.

The PM on 19 June ensured that consequent to the skirmish between the troops on 15 June, no Chinese troops have entered the Indian territory nor is any Indian post at the LAC under Chinese occupation. Disengagement and de-escalation between the two militaries at the LAC is the need of the hour since a long-standing military standoff is unfavourable for both the countries. Both sides need to understand the gravity of the situation, resolve their differences, avoid any further escalation and maintain peace and tranquillity in the region.

PARA SF:

Paratrooper Special Forces aka Para SF or better known as the Para-Commandos are the Indian Army Special Force operational unit trained for unconventional warfare, asymmetric warfare, counter-terrorism. It was the first special force unit raised in India pattern on the British Special Air Services ( SAS ),"NSG also theme on it" to give India a combat edge over its enemies in Non conventional warfare capabilities especially when facing superior numbers and technology as these specialized men can perform jobs which is beyond the combat capabilities of infantry or any other forces.

55 year ago, Major Megh Singh raised an ad hoc commando unit during 1965 Indo-Pak war to perform cross-border operations to support infantry operations in the northern sector of Kashmir. These small groups of men known as “Meghdoot Force” performed brilliantly under the command of Major Megh Singh and performed three cross-border operations. After the war ended, the small unit was reconstituted into a proper commando unit named 9 PARA Commando and was placed under Parachute Regiment of Indian Army. In June 1967, 9 PARA was split into two separate units: 9 PARA and 10 PARA. 9 PARA was based at Kashmir while 10 PARA was based at the Western Sector(Rajasthan).

1 PARA SF - Tactical needs,Urban Warfare , known as 'Red Devils' They were established in 1761 as 1 PUNJAB and converted to SF roles in 1978 and are kept in reserve for specialized type of operations and urban warfare.

2 PARA SF - Mountain Warfare and CI/CT ops, known as 'Predators' they were established in 1797 as 3rd Battalion Maratha Light Infantry and converted to SF in 2000.

BADGES WORN BY SF PERSONNELS

1.BALIDAN BADGE

The special forces, which form part of the Parachute regiment, have a distinct insignia called Balidaan, which has a commando dagger pointed downwards, with upward-extending wings extending from the blade and a scroll superimposed on the blade with “Balidaan” inscribed in Devanagari; all of it in silver metal on an upright red plastic rectangle. Only the para commandos are allowed to wear the 'Balidaan' badge.

2.SHOULDER TITLE

The special forces personnel also wear a maroon curved shoulder title with SPECIAL FORCES embroidered in light blue, succeeding the COMMANDO tab in 2006 which was in use since inception.

3.PARA WINGS

There remains a single airborne brevet: an open parachute in white, with light blue wings extended from it, the whole on a gray-green drab background.This was formerly worn on the upper right sleeve but since 1975 it appears above the right chest pocket and name tag.

4.JUMP INDICATOR WING

There is a small enameled version (white parachute with blue, yellow, or red wings) worn on the left pocket as Jump Indicator Wings (for 25, 50 or 100 , respectively). The small enameled badge has now been replaced by a brass badge with stars at the bottom of the parachute, with one star denotes 25 jumps, two stars 50 and three stars 100.

5.DIVING BADGE
Some of the trainees are also taught specialized modes of infiltration and exfiltration, either by air (combat freefall) or sea (combat diving). Those opting for combat diving earn the Diving badge. The badge speaks that you are ready to take any mission either on land or sea.
6.COMBAT FREEFALLER BADGE
The free-fall course requires at least 50 jumps from altitudes up to 34,000 feet to pass. Both High Altitude Low Opening and High Altitude High Opening techniques are learned.

The Nepalese border guarding force open fire on a crowd killing a 22yo man and injuring 2 others. Nepal Sastra Police targeted farmers at Sitamarhi, an Indian state of Bihar. The BGF also detained a person identified as 45yo lagan Yadav after this incident. The incident comes in the midst of the raging boundary dispute between the two countries after the kathmandu released a new map laying claim over Lipulekh, Kalapani and limpiyadhura.

'The Nepalese side is claiming that there was a group of Indians who tried to illegally cross the India Nepal border. On the other side, Indian side says that they were set of Indian farmers who were there when suddenly without any provocation the Nepalese side started the rounds against them.

SSB (Seema Suraksha Bal) which mans the border has confirmed that the incident has taken place and has sent a report to the Indian Home Ministery. India’s ministery of external affairs has responded to Nepal’s new map saying that that “The artificial enlargement of domain is not based on any historical evidence and is not tangible. Infact it is voilative of the current understanding between the two nations”.

Meanwhile DG(SSB) had issued a statement saying a local issue led to altercation which was avoidable. Look at the timing of this 'avoidable' altercation. It comes in the middle of another provocation. Nepal govt is busy altering maps in the middle of a pandemic and the people of Nepal are protesting against their govt, against PM Oli's misplaced priorities.

As of now the ties between India and Nepal has come under strain after India's defence minister Mr. Raj Nath Singh inaugurated a 80km long strategic crucial road connecting Lipulekh pass with Dharchula in Uttrakhand on may 8. Nepal reacted sharply to the inauguration claiming that it passes through Nepalese territory.

People of nepal have alleged that the KP Oli govt has been indulged in corruption as far as its battle against COVID-19 pandemic has been concerned. There have been large scale demonstrations. Thousands hit the streets of Kathmandu for a peaceful protest which was the second protest in a week. The people of Nepal are demanding financial transparency and better management of the pandemic. 10 anti-govt protestors including foreign nationals were arrested during demonstrations over the weekend in Kathmandu.

KANDAHAR HIJACK 1999 : Indian Airlines IC814 from Nepal, and landed in Amritsar, Punjab. The hijacked plane took off before the NSG reached Amritsar Airport. The plane landed in Kandahar, Afghanistan Finally, the Indian Government agrees to the terrorists' demands to release three jailed terrorists. The hostages were released and the terrorists escaped to Pakistan.

2002 : Two terrorists attack the Akshardham temple complex in Gujarat. NSG flies in, delayed by traffic in Delhi. They carried out assaults in which one commando was martyred and another one was seriously injured and was in a coma, and died after 18 months. But by morning the two terrorists are killed and the operation successfully completed.

2013 Patna bomb case: A team of the NSG, which was sent to Patna for post-blasts analysis, said at least three more Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) were defused.

Black tornado : 26/11 attack, to flush out terrorists & rescue hostages after multiple attacks across mumbai, India. Major Ssandeep Unnikrishnan and Havaldar Gajender Singh Bisht of the Special Action Group were martyred during the operations and 9 terrorists killed

2016 pathankot attack : An NSG team took part in the operation to neutralize terrorists where Lt. Col. Niranjan lost his life defusing a bomb trapped on the body of a dead terrorist, and 12 other members of the unit were injured. Nine dash line is a geographical marks by china to asserts its claims. It extends as far as 2000 km from the Chinese mainland and reaches close to Indonesia and Malaysia

• Vietnam refuses the historical claims of china and says that their ruler ruled in the 17th century in south china and they too claims the maximum parts of south China sea. They also claims sovereignty over the paracel and spratly islands.

In 2014, the deployment of Chinese troops in near the paracel islands led to several confrontations between Vietnamese and Chinese ships and led to protests.

• Philippines wants the spratly islands, Scarborough, because they are close to it. They stand every time with the UNCLOS.

• Malaysia wants the territory water and some parts of spratly islands.

• Brunei only wants the south china sea along their boundary.

CLASHES:

Philippines, Taiwan and Vietnam are making artificial islands in the south china sea and setting up military bases.

China has made many artificial islands and military bases compared to the Philippines ,Taiwan and Vietnam.

In 1974, the Chinese seized the paracel from Vietnam ,killing more than 70 Vietnamese troops .

In 1988 again there were clashes between Vietnam and China in spratly islands

In 2012-13 ,China and Philippines engaged in the long time stand off in the Scarborough shoal.

In 2014 China introduced a large structure with equipment for drilling an oil well into the water near the

paracel islands which led to many clashes between Vietnamese and Chinese.

ABOUT GEORGE FLOYD: He has been to jail for at least 5 times. His profile as per court documents reads like a career criminal involved in drug abuse, theft, criminal trespassing, aggravated robbery as well as entering a woman’s(pregnant) home and pointing a gun at her stomach while looking for drugs and money. Although this does not justify his murder "I condemn it in every way possible."

BRIEF SUMMARY:

Minneapolis United States, cops were called on George Floyd, by the shopkeeper in an alleged attempt to use counterfeit $20 bills. On arriving police officers asked Floyd to step out from the passenger seat of the car he was in, and later dragged him out as if he were to blow the place out. One of the police officers pressed his knee against his neck for 7-10 minutes(since he didn’t have the right to breathe) which can be seen in the viral vedio. In the viral video Floyd can be seen repeatedly saying “I can’t breathe!” The phrase ‘I Can’t breathe', landed hard on every soul who had a glimpse of the video. This case reminds of the similar case in 2014 when Eric Garner was choked by police officers who also had the same phrase as his defence(there might be smth. with that phrase for sure!!).

DIFFERENT ANGLES : This incident became the tipping point and led to mass protests. Well, if you think of these protests as just against racism then you might have to reconsider this whole scenario once again. It’s just that this whole thing has become a farrago of everybody’s sentiments which has found an outlet called protests. Everybody is protesting. Some are protesting just because they want to experience some fresh air once again, since they were deprived of it due to several conspiracies by their government to keep all the fresh and natural air for themselves. (How far some can go!!). Some less fortunate ones who just used to gawk at these fancy-ass luxury stores and mind their wallet during normal days are out there choosing correct sizes for them and their loved ones over the phone. Some are anti-trump and want to create unrest in society, just to see someone else next time less cocky then him(well they got a real motive). And some were out because 2020 hasn’t been much fun for them due to a trivial infection which, of course, will not affect them due to their white privilege shield on. They call themselves super liberals, they want to tackle it bare handedly by getting together holding hands and erase it’s very existence from this whole universe.

ON A SERIOUS NOTE: Amid all this who are the ones falling victim to these protests, the very ones who are protesting for the real and noble cause. Those who want to see the change in their society are the ones falling prey to the opportunity-driven society. It’s always them. It’s like a law. If you want to change something in your society you must suffer. While the people for whom you are ready to suffer can have their daily meals on time.

‘BlackLivesMatter’, ‘I can’t breathe', people are protesting with these slogans.Thousands of anti-racism protestors are set to attend demonstrations across the UK this weekend - despite government warning against such gatherings. They might as well secure their luxury stores which may lead to a significant decline in the number of protesters. That seems a clever move!

ON A VERY SERIOUS NOTE: US and other West countries are seen as trend setters. Whether it be music, fashion or any other thing. They set the trend for other countries, especially developing ones. China is trying to encircle India for the future warfare and conflict,This is because 70 % of trade of oil and product containers of china is from Indian ocean via strait of malacca ,and Indian Ocean is dominated by Indian Navy.

To counter the Indian navy and future conflict, China is building ties with countries like Pakistan,Maldives,Srilanka,Bangladesh,Myanmar,Indonesia,Malaysia and singapore.

PAKISTAN (GWADAR PORT)

China made a naval base in Gwadar, Pakistan, as part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). This port will help China to tackle India from the west side during any war-like situation or any conflict to keep pressure. China sells fighter jets, submarine and financial support to Pakistan so that it can give a strong counter to the Indian attack.

BANGLADESH (CHITTAGONG PORT)

Bangladesh considers China an all-weather friend and trusted ally. During Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to Dhaka in 2016, the two countries established a strategic partnership. According to this, China has committed US$ 31 billion worth of projects in Bangladesh making it the second biggest recipient of money in South Asia after Pakistan. China’s involvement in Bangladesh ranges from a share in the Dhaka Stock Exchange, to building infrastructure, industrial complexes and power plants. The Chinese-built “Chittagong port” can be converted into a military port, depending on the equations between India-Bangladesh and China.Bangladesh gives the land-locked Yunnan province of China an opportunity to gain access to the Bay of Bengal.

SRI LANKA (HAMBANTOTA AND COLOMBO PORT)

China has invested a lot in Hambantota port,by which Sri lanka seems bankrupt and China has planned to take over SriLanka Hambantota port to firm up its naval operations in the Indian Ocean. Besides Hambantota port, China also provides technical and financial assistance to Sri Lanka so that they can allow their territory to be used against India at required time.

TO COUNTER STRAIT OF MALACCA :

The Indian Ocean sees nearly 60 percent of the trade which includes the trade of oil from the oil fields of the Middle East. And 80 percent of China’s oil imports pass through the Strait of Malacca. Therefore, Strait of Malacca is indispensable for China until it develops alternative routes.

Therefore China is keen to develop friendly relations with countries like Malaysia and Singapore which surround the Malacca Strait.

INDIA'S RESPONSE

TO COUNTER GWADAR PORT :

India has made a deal with Iran and now India is developing Chabahar Port in Iran near to the Strait of Hormuz which is very Important for India because 80% of oil trade of world is from strait of hormuz and it will counter the gwadar and karachi port.

India is building defence cooperation with Vietnam to counter Myanmar and China's move.

India has also invested a lot in countries like Uzbekistan,Kazakhstan and Mongolia to counter China by surrounding it.
And India has good ties with Japan and Russia,India is also tying good relations with Australia.

TO COUNTER CHINA IN MALAYSIA -SINGAPORE:

INS BAAZ in Andman and Nicobar ,joint command is also there,India has setted Harpoon Block-2 Missiles, MK-54 lightweight torpedoes, rockets, which can effectively counter China’s strategic moves in the Indian Ocean region and Strait of Malacca.

CONCLUSION:

CHINESE BRINGS MORE BOATS TO LAKE IN THE LADAKH.

PANGONG TSO:

Pangong tso is a long narrow deep ,landlocked lake situated at a height of more than 14,000 ft in the Ladakh himalayas.

The134 km long lake lies over 600 sq km in the shape of a boomerang and is 6-7 km wide at its broadest point.

It is a brackish water (salt water as well as fresh water ) lake freezes over in winters and becomes ideal for ice skating and polo.

DIPLOMACY AND STRATEGIC VIEWS:

Indian assessment shows that a major chinese offensive, if it comes ,will flow across both the north and south of the lake.

During the 1962 war ,this was where China launched its main offensive. and Rezangla pass is near this lake.

Over the year, the chinese built roads along the bank of Pangong lake which were able to provide back support from the main area of China .

During the Kargil war when our regiment who guards this area sent to Kargil sector , which seems as an opportunity to build a road by china and they constructed a 5 km road in our territory.

CONTROVERSY:

The barren mountains on the Lake's northern bank are called "FINGERS" by Indian Army.

Total there are 8 Fingers in the bank of the Lake.

PONGONG TSO

After the 1962 war Aksai chin was captured by China and New line of Actual control was constructed.

India claims that the LAC is bordering with Finger 8 ,But it physically controls area only up to Finger 4.

Chinese border posts are at finger 8 , while they believe that LAC passes through finger 2.

And hence the confrontation usually happens between 4th finger and 8th Finger.

Some years back, China was doing construction at Finger 4th ,Indian Army strongly opposed it.

China has now stopped the Indian soldier move beyond Finger 2.This became a dispute which is still developing.

Earlier chinese had superior boats, so they had advantages ,or a domination ,but now India has purchased Tampa boats.

TACKLING:

INDIA NEPAL BORDER DISPUTE

The India- Nepal relations witnessed a diplomatic problem over the functioning of the mansarovar link road "this new link will cut down travel time for kailash mansarovar pilgrims by almost 75%,it is a strategic connector that links pithoragarh in Uttarakhand to lipulekh near tri-junction(India-Nepal-china).In the reaction the government of Nepal came out with protest against the link and saying it is a unilateral act by India and arguing to refrain from such activities.

India-Nepal:

During the time of british colonial,there was the treaty of sagauli between British India in1816. Under which the Kali river made as the border between the two countries with east of the river belonging to Nepal and west part to India.

Nepal asserts that the river originates from limipyadhaura,and according to treaty of Sagauli Nepalgovernment claims eastern part of river like kalapani and lipulekh as nepalese territory and whereas India claiming kalapani as the origin.

Why greed when we got happiness

When I was returning from college , I saw a boy of our course ,who was going home alone not only that day but also many times. I had seen him in solitude. He looks pretty much disturbed or like something eating him from inside.

The very next day ,I accompanied him on his way back and tried to strike up a conversation with him,by introducing myself. His response was quite unenthusiastic and I could tell he was not interested.

After that I asked his classmates about him ,they said he doesn't talk with anyone and a meek person , after that I started to gave him company everyday,

One day I asked him why you are like this , I mean why you so alone and look depressed ,he denied and said nothing only ,
AfterTen-Twelve day I asked him again after a little friendship. I asked him why you don't talk frankly, and everytime engrossed in something,answer me my friend .

He replied : during my schooling ,I was hosteller it was in remote area ,there were a lot of restrictions even in using facewash, every time I was in anxiety, financial problem was another burden on me it made me thinking a lot ,depressed and loneliness came in my life .I was good in studies but everything the aloneness snatches from me , in my home when i was not a hosteller my hobby was playing ,but it also vanished there. Interaction with friends and parents was like never happened .

Then he said that " why greed when we got happiness ".

I held my hand on his shoulder and said be happy always my friend and enjoy your college life and in the emotional I said any type of help he wants then I am always there for you.
I was impressed with his sentence, "why greed when we got happiness ".
only those who can feel this who are deprived of happiness due to some kind of cause.
