singapore f1 weekend

it was a last minute thing, bought my flight ticket on thursday night and we flew on sunday morning.
went with my brother jat and we had an awesome weekend break.

when we got there, we took a few maps and guides to check out what to do and where to go and how to get around.

we got a singapore day pass for SGD18 (10 of which is a deposit when u get back)

i wanted to see the merlion but it was closed off due to the race. the closest i got to the merlion was this

jat and i went around the financial district, saw the parliament and basically walked around the whole day.

this was near the peranakan place and we also visited the malay heritage area.

luckily the weather was on our side on sunday as not a drop of rain fell down. perfect for race night!

i've only started watching F1 in 2008 where Kimi tought my about the race. Now i'm such a fanatic of F1! so when D invited me, i gasped and jumped at the invite!

Button just missed out on podium place and Hamilton got crashed out once again but the Redbulls. what is up with them crashing out and contacting my MercMclaren drivers?! grrr

it was soo tricky trying to snap the cars passing by and the sounds of the cars passing by. oh my - they send chills to my bones!!! we came a bit late so the bleachers were full so the best spot we could get was from one of the corners. after the first lap luizi crashed out and he went passed us!! maanged to snap a pic of him. we stayed here for the first 15 laps or so and then moved over the padang area where we bought some merchandise and watched the race on screen. towards the end i wanted to watch the cars go by coz i could always watch them on screen back at home so we went to another corner to watch the end of the race.

what a brilliant and unforgetable first time f1 experience. the fact that it was a night race made it so much better as it wasn't so hot and humid. and singapore has the most exciting and tricky circuit with the track being narrower and with so many turns. and who would have thought that heiki has talents as a firefighter too?

next day was spent walking around orchard road

will have to come again to singapore to check out Universal Studios!

My friday night

Sorry sorry, I should blog more often. I've got a backlog of photos to be uploaded but u know, slow internet yadi yada yada

Anyhoo, friday night in and husband is working all weekend. So I got out my nail polish which was sent to me to be checked out by Her World magazine (freebie yo!). Did my nails, filed them slightly before hand whilst watching Duplicity.

Verdict -

NAIL POLISH from Chanel
Loved it!! Colour is dark metallic maroon and it really stands out. Easy to apply, a tad messy on the right hand nails but becos I did it with my left hand and I aint no lefty. Quickly dries too!

Oh ps: gimme a shout if anyone sees my pic in Her World mag cos my testimonial is spose to be printed there.

DUPLICITY - great movie for a Friday night. Clever, slightly Quentin Tarantino with the flashbacks etc. Why can't we come up with clever movies like these instead of countless mind numbing oh-so-not-scary ghost stories? And bloody hell we produced quite a lot of them don't we? At least one ghost story or rather was shown on tv every bloody night. How come none of the late Yasmin Ahmad's movie was shown?? That would have been great to be watched during raya. Sorry I digress...

Also managed to finally make my wedding scrapbook. I just call it that but really its just a book where I glued on all the cards and gift tags we received from everyone. Plus any other tid bits from the wedding such as a ribbon off my cake, my invites n save the dates. So yeay me!

A few open houses to attend over the weekend and a baby shower. Have a great one folks!

Honeymoon

a LONG overdue entry of my honeymoon...hehe

in short -
*free upgrade to suite from a superior room...bonus!

*spent almost rm300 for a seafood dinner by the beach at Jimbaran but well worth it!

tip: a day trip to tanah lot, some markets and uluwatu in the evening to see the kecak dance PLUS a dinner at jimbaran is about USD50 per person which i think was worth it since the dinner itself pon was quite expensive. at the airport you'll see many brochures for day trips.

*the day we chose to sight see was the day that weather wasn't on our side. but luckily it didn't rain when we were at tanah lot

*loved dipping in the beach at sunset at Kuta beach! we went into the hotel swimming pool afterwards when the sun was down just mucking about with the husband

*bought the HANGOVER dvd for rm3 and laughed til our sides hurt!
*i had the omellete and banana pancakes EVERDAY for 3 days during breakfast!

perfect honeymoon...THANKS daddy!!!

here's to a lifetime of blissfull marriage...insyaAllah....amen!

Make up and hair for the co's annual dinner.

Make up by Smashbox - just walked in at Pavillion. Paid RM80 for just a simple make up. Happy with the result :)

Hair - some chinese salon at Ampang Park. LOved it!

Attire - Baju nikah and one word for it. S. E. N. D. A. T and can see my face is slightly chubbier! :(

Dinner - Mandarin Oriental
Performers -JayJay, Salamiah Hassan (Atilia's mum) and Alleycats. Surprisingly I enjoyed their performances! Nothing like some old skool malay music.

whoopsies continued

more details on the whoopsies..

i was more nervous abt the reception than the akad. everything was out of my control now!
so many people expected, we added 2 more tables that very same morning and i was revising and finalising the seatings that morning as well.

the rehearsal was scheduled at 2pm but we didn't start until around 3 and from then on i didn't stop running around, trying to organise the table seatings, the registration tables and the door gifts. i was knackered! but luckily for friends and family, i was able to delegate. otherwise i would've been too tired for my own reception.

at around 5.30pm i just didn't want to know anything else about the reception.

gave my phone to my sister and played the "i'm the bride card" and hence ignorance is bliss.

these are the whoopsies that i found out a day later...

whoopsie #1 - lopsided cake
but they turned out to be like this instead so it's not too bad

whoopsie #2 - not enough doorgifts for everyone!
i ordered around 850 chocolates but my aunts who were putting them on the table tells me there isn't enough for the table downstairs (we had 75 tables downstairs and an extra 6 upstairs). As it turns out the caterer kids who helped to put them on the tables just basically chucked them on without even counting that there were only spose to be 10 for each table. Even so, people who were sitting upstairs didn't get ANY door gifts because we had over 850 people turn up that night

whoopsie #3 - so many people turned up who surprise surprise, did NOT rsvp.
luckily we had those extra tables upstairs where a buffet was served. phewww and thank god there weren't any empty tables. a few empty seats but according to my brother groups or families did not want to be split so they were directed to the buffet area. we really didn't mean to have a buffet and seated area but we couldn't help it!

whoopsie #4 - my entrance did NOT have a roof?!!!!

i had a look at my entrance and immediately called up Kak La....her staff couldn't put up the roof coz the material was too soft for it to stay put. i told her "please fix it coz it looked burukkkk". luckily she managed to put up the roof for it and it looked much much better =)

she also forgot about my flower bouquets for my bridesmaids. as my bouquet was done by MK i told her to split mine into 4 for the bridesmaid. we later found those flowers on the chair of my pelamin as i was about to sit down during the reception..too late la kan?

whoopsie #5 - remember my awesome guestbook??
well it wasn't signed by many that night. people just went past it and people were only spose to sign on the pages where there we spaces for them to write. but some people wrote on the pics themselves and totally ruined it. i wouldn't mind if it was too full and there were not enough space but there were plenty and that book was ruined..

whoopsie #6 - waiter spilled CURRY on my veil!!!

hmm i think that was about it and to only have 6 MINOR mishaps i am grateful.

i could not thank my friends and family enough for helping out that night. it wouldn't be such a success if it wasn't for them. i laaa u all =)

no i wasn't serenading kimi but was giving my thank you speech to the guests, my family and friends who helped and also to kimi's family for accepting me.

Puspanitapuri - Dewan Sri Endon

we pre-booked this place a year in advance so if you would like to hire it for your big day, go book it now! if your mum is a member of Puspanita you get 10% the total bill which really helped!!

En Halim who was in charge was friendly and was there during the rehearsal and that night. He answered my many questions and was very accomodating.

There was an AV technician but I had my brother's housemate Neiry to be the floor manager for the night and everything seemed to go on smoothly that night! However one of the projector screen wasn't fixed so the colours didn't seem right and the slideshow and montage was blurry!

i didn't get to eat much that night so i couldn't really comment on the food. but no major complaints so i guess they were ok but apart from the cake story and there was another mishap relating to them but i'll tell you about that in my list of whoopsies!

Pelamin and decorations

i loved loved LOVED their pelamin! they turned out to be exactly how i wanted it to be...

basically prior to the wedding, i would religiously stalk their website to check out their latest pelamin designs. so when we sat down to discuss about the pelamin, i basically told them to combine a few of their existing dais panels and the result was amazing. it was simple yet elegant and didn't overshadow us the bride and groom. the flower arrangements on the stage were also beautiful. the whole thing looked really expensive and classy considering the fact that i spent about half of the current rate of such dais at a hall.

Dress

just LOOK at the beadings on that lace top! (click of pic to enlarge pic above!) i absolutely love and adore this dress. for the dress i again compiled elements of the dresses that i loved and brought it to show Abg Man at the shop. it didn't turn out 100% exactly like i showed him but i guess he knows best what would suit me. i didn't want to empire line but i specifically told him i don't like those chunky crystal beads which he tends to use for the tops and he actually listened to me. Hence the gazillion beads sewed on for the empire line. then there were beads all over that top! initially we were suppose to cover the off shoulder bit with the veil but it just didn't look as nice so he decided to keep the veil behind my shoulders. even when i was about to enter into the hall, the veil slipped to cover my shoulders but abg man was there to flip it right back! so yes i was a tad too sexy that night but it looked better that way :p

i wanted more beadings like a climbing up effect on the bottom of the skirt but Abg Man just did beadings all around the skirt. i guess it's still a bonus coz i noticed on previous dresses he didn't do the beadings all around. I also wore 5inch platform because Kimi is supertall and surprisingly they were comfortable. i wanted some bling-bling at the front of those platforms but he said that it might get caught onto the dress so it was a simple white bow peep toe platform.

oh and the veil....sigh the beautiful veil. the beadings on that were immaculate and soo pretty. it was heavy as hell hence the super huge bun in order to stick like a gazillion hair pins.

damn i loved that dress! unfortunately it was a first rental and it was sold to a bridal boutique (cewah sounds so glamour padahal mak andam beli hehe) just a mere 5 days later!! i did consider buying at least the top but really everytime i told greta and michelle about the fact that it's a first rental, they would say "yeah my dress is sitting in a box". And really when am i EVER gonna wear anything off shoulder again? hehe

again his package also included the necklace, gorgeous hand bouquet (i think a plentiful bunch of roses always does the job!), shoes and the headband. instead of a crown i wore a headband which i thought was perfect!

Kimi's blazer and baju melayu were also made by him. We bought the songket for sampin, tanjak and tengkolok from Terengganu.

Make up

again he worked his magic on me. i was warned by a couple of friends that he sometimes tend to make you look like a drag but i was so glad i stuck by him. i thought it was a job well done making me look oh-so-glamourous. loved the double fake lashes =) best thing was i can get twice his service for one Sue Cantik and the work is if not equally good but better! he charged RM500 for each event at the hall and RM400 for at home and RM300 for engagement. Bargain!!

I really wanted to go around Putrajaya to take more pics but Kimi was simply to tired. so we just opted to take pictures outside the hall to play with the lightings. hehe cool what to see abg adi wearing a t-shirt that says "dinawedding" as if it was specially made for my reception! i specifically wanted HIM to shoot my wedding reception and luckily he was available. i nearly didn't want to fork out MORE money for video of the reception but at the last minute i just went ahead anymore. it is ONCE in a lifetime and so far i've seen a little preview and it looked good. so again can't wait to see the final video!

Azmie and Sue - singers

husband and wife wedding singers. we first heard them at my neighbour's wedding and i love the fact that they sing both malay and english songs and they were not too loud or pitchy or simply memekak. they cost a bomb too at rm3k a pop but a lot of people commented on how good they were. initially i wanted gamelan but after hearing that at a few weddings, gamelan tend to be a bit monotonous and you can't tell one song from another. I was glad that i chose them and they were worth the money.

Kompang - Gamelan semenyih

I spent rm400 for the live kompang which they played for a mere 3 minutes and no one even saw them! a complete waste of money i tell you! they were all dressed nicely in baju melayu and tanjak and all but like i said no one saw them. pffttt

Emcees - Pak An (my uncle) and Nadia flyfm (my highschool best buddy)

they did an awsome job controlling the crowd. everything was in formal BM which was a bit tricky for Nadia but she handled it well =) thanks you guys..

OVERALL - my wedding reception couldn't have been anymore perfect than it was. like i mentioned there were glitches it went smoothly to the eyes of yours truly and hopefully the guests.

alhamdulillah my wedding was a dream turned into reality. i got my dream dress, i got my dream dais but most importantly i got to share the day i celebrate becoming mrs kimi with people that i love, my family and friends.

the imprefections were dismissable when at the end of the day kimi became the shammy clan!

Whoopsie #1

I know, I know I still owe u the reception post mortem. It's in progress ok but I'll start with this.

Whilst the akad went very smoothly, due to the scale of the reception, it was more out of my control. We had a few glitches here and there but I think to the guests, it was not noticeable. So here I shall reveal some of the whoopsies!

That green thing in the middle is actually a piece of honeydew! Yes a honeydew in the middle of my cake!

Apparently during transportation, the cakes got a bit 'roughed' up so when they tried to assemble the 3 tier cake , the base was hollow - hence the honeydew. Even when it was put together it looked like the leaning tower of pisa. However to cover the lobsidedness of it all, the stuck a whole bunch of white roses on the front and it worked.

When the cake was wheeled out my first reaction was "hmm a bit senget but oooo it's on of these lopsided cakes!!" Neiry the floor manager was like "ooook kyong" *insert fake smile* hehe

we ordered nasi putih and lauk kampung (daging salai masak cili api, sambal tumis udang, ayam goreng berempah, sayur goreng, ulam2 dah sambal belacan. also had fruits, bubur kacang and teh tarik)

many complimented the food and my mak andam and designer who usually "tell it like it is!" said the food was awesome!

Price was RM12 per head

RM1 per serving for teh tarik and bubur (each)

RM300 for meja pengantin food

Canopies

This was a very last minute change (2 weeks before) and Ryaihan was only to happy to oblige!

She already has another event to do that weekend but came when they set up early on Wednesday.

We had one transparent canopy with fairy lights

One 20x20 normal canopy with underlay

And she suggested the tables with white umbrellas which can accomodate 10 ppl each in order to maximise the number of people with minimum price. The rental price for the umbrellas were only RM150 (tables and chairs charged separately) and it came with 3 lanterns.

The total price for the whole night was around RM5k++

It was slightly more pricey than if i were to stick to Rassdeco but the outcome of the night speaks for itself and was well worth it.

Pelamin and decorations

Since Ryaihan couldn't do the decorations themselves plus their pelamin was more than my budgeted RM2k we had to find another vendor. I browsed around and came across POF through Dina T's blog plus my aunt has a shop at Jalan Jelatek so I thought maybe she couldn't get me some discounts. One lunch time I went to their shop to discuss what I wanted. Their first initial quote was WAYYY over my budget. Then I revised it where i slashed the budget for the meja pengantin from RM1200 by half! She did remind me that since it's all been slashed I was to make sure that it'll be simpler than what i saw in the samples and I told her all i want is lovely, simple yet classy flower arrangements. Kak Zai was only happy to work to my budget and I was very satisfied with the outcome.

As for the pelamin I saw one sample that I really loved which was the frame with draped satin materials criss crossing which was what I really wanted for my akad. I also told her about the birght yellow Perak Diraja tekad so we chose flower to compliment that.

Small flower pots for the white umbrella tables (we had about 7 as the table for the groom's party had a dome on their table so it was not necessary)

2 flower bouquets for the bedroom

5 small flower "bouquets" which she hang on the stairs (this was recycled and used as the bouquets for my bridesmaids)

All in all we paid RM3640 for everything

ps; that bed was the works and touches of Diana. I got the white covers and pillow cases. We had lace covers on top of the quilt bought from Daddy in China. Greta my aussie best friend from high school who came from Belgium bought me another 2 lace pillow cases. The rest of the pillows were supplied from Diana. The night before she passed some cushions and after i arranged them on the bed, I bbm-ed her the pic. The next morning she came from Duta with different coloured cushions and arranged them herself! She said it didn't match and we arranged it all wrong! hehe thanks so much Dee

I grabbed them to take advantage of a sale that they had last year. So I paid RM1200 for one cameraman for that night. They also did a wonderful job whereby I insisted that they prepare a montage/video of the akad nikah to be played during the reception. On Saturday morning Min the owner called me up with bad news where all his editors were not around. We were gonna have over 800 ppl at the reception of which only about 100 were around to witness the moment i became Kimi's wife, so I told Min that all i really wanted was to show the akad. Just have a beginning, the akad and then the ending. Even if it's a minute long I'll be alright with it. So Min said that he will try his absolute best to prepare something and word of warning he ain't no editor.

The first time i saw the video was when they played it on the projector during my reception dinner and i was pleasantly surprised. I thought he did a beautiful job capturing the moments of that night. I loved the first shot of kimi in the video. Mum plays the video everyday for more than 3 times. Kimi plays it before he goes to sleep with a happy grin whilst watching it. We absolutely loved it!

well these two are nothing but short of amazing. the main reason i chose Udey and Moqh in the first place was because they don't just do the typical standard wedding shoot but they always try to seek a different angle and add their own twist in every shot. Since both my events are at night, I was worried that our shots are just gonna be normal and boring since we couldn't go anywhere to do an outdoorsy shoot. My unplanned garden party turned out to be the main focus of our shots. they played with the lighting of the lanterns, the overhanging fairy lights and also the "kelambu" in the bedroom.

I was amazed to see how Udey work as it totally shows how passionate he is about getting that perfect shot! When you have a passionate photographer and camwhore of a bride, you get a photoshoot til 1 am in the morning! At one point, he muttered "ah i wish there was a ladder" and i quickly said "we do we do have a ladder!" so off he went to get that ladder to produce this

I was very particular about one thing which was the sometimes visible scars on my face. So I specifically told him to edit it to be almost flawless and so far it's not visible on the pics that he has uploaded. Thank you!

He also went straight home edit some pictures and then straight away uploaded them to facebook. I swear this guy doesn't sleep!

i can't boast and recommend his and ming's work enough so i'll let their pictures do the talking

Outfits and hantaran

Man Kajang

I am so glad that Kimi told me pick MK to do all my outfits. He did an amazing job of making my dream dress a reality! I chose a simple baju kurung princess cut with chiffon bottom. He went the extra mile by adding more beads on the neckline and full beadings on the sleves. The beadwork was neat and just made the outfit stand out much much more. He also added full beading all around the skirt and on both layers. It was amazing how he transformed the non extra beaded outfit into a such elegant piece! He is such a pro whereby we only sent the materials in mid-May and everything was done and of high quality. He also wasn't kedekut in the sense that he would do anything to make that dress of yours beautiful. I paid the standard labour charge but I think the extra beading work must be quite expensive too. Also within the standard package price all accessories are included, shoes (which u get to keep and my shoes for nikah had more beading works done), the veil (also heavily beaded but don't get to keep), hand bouquets (a plentiful bunch of roses with glitters sparkling on the petals) AND he also would bring the flowers for your hair. Is that good service or what? We were fortunate enough that he came to all events to help me get ready!

meanwhile for the hantaran he gave us his latest design. i think it was the most beautiful hantaran i have ever seen and my sister also concurred. there were crystal detailings, pearl drops and seated on top of suade cushions. he used white roses and lillies to decorate it further and he wasn't stingy with the flowers either! i do not have the close up of my hantaran yet so this will have to do and it does not really do justice.

apparently i was the second person to use this and if you want to use it first he charges RM500 per hantaran. mine was half the price =)

Make up

He was responsible for making me gorgeous during my engagement and I just decided to stick with him again. Initially I was going to have Sue Cantik for my reception but there was a glitch there and I lost her. So luckily he was still free for that date so he ended up doing my make up and hair for all 3.

Again he did a wonderful (i'm running out of adjectives utk memuji semua org ni hehe) with the make up. A collegue at work kept saying how pretty i look :p and that i looked way way WAY much better without glasses! haha

Nikah post mortem

Sorry I've been totally busy this week.

Only back in the office for 3 days to close my accounts and I'm on leave today for Kimi's reception this weekend so finally i can update this blog. I shall start with just the running of events and will do a proper testimonial on vendors after coz i really think that they each deserve a full testimonial.

That Friday, I was taken out by my sis-in-law to Sembunyi Spa for a bit of relaxation. Had a lovely time in the jacuzi and sauna. Then treatment with a full body massage, scrub and mask. I was quite worried about being away from home so close to the solemnisation but i was so glad that i went away. It did help me to relax before the event.

At 6pm, there weren't that many people around. ManKajang was still at Kimi's finishing his hantaran, caterer haven't arrived and my make up artist was nowhere to be seen! I started panicking but luckily by around 7pm they arrived.

Surprisingly i was totally calm and not that nervous. MK arrived with my baju kurung modern and true to his words the beadings were beautiful. I went for my fitting the week before and only minor alteration on the top and it was still a bit plain. He added more beads to the already beaded lace, particularly around the neckline, sleeves and the bottom. I chose chiffon, layered bottom instead of normal satin which turned out beautifully.

Freda work effortlessly at my face, Udey and Ming arrived also started snapping pictures. I felt like a million dollars hehe

After I was done with make up and i put on my baju kurung, MK wanted to take full pics of his creation. So there i was posing endlessly , perasan jadi model dlm majalah nona! Then all was left in the room were Teerah, Diana, Ikmal and Ann and they waited with me until I was called down. Even after I was called down, I wasn't nervous at all. No heavy thumping of the heart nor sweaty palm. When i got to my bantal nikah (which was actually the same one my parents used when they got married!) i saw Kimi on his yellow kerabat diraja Perak tekad bantal nikah and he looked handsome. Silently i thought, my soon to be handsome looked so dashing! hehe he did steal a glance at me and smiled. He did not look like a nerve wreck at all and i think that really calmed me down a lot. As the preceedings started, Kimi later told me that he was really nervous. He did not practice the akad at all beforehand coz his bro-in-law said that it's scripted and he was allowed to read it out. HAHA then when he found out that was NOT the case, he asked for a glass of water and then daddy followed suit to calm both of their nerves down a little bit. Kimi then checked with the Tok Kadi what he was suppose to day, so he had 1 practice run with the kadi. Then daddy took his hand, and he gave away his little amoi of which Kimi accepted with one lafaz. Alhamdulillah =)

I expected that I'd be crying and sobbing but only little tears came out. I guess I was well and truly happy , and when he first referred to me as his wife whilst reading the ta'liq my heart jumped with joy! Then the exchange of rings, mas kahwin and duit hantaran.

The canopies outside were from Khareyan Events. It was very last minute that we had to find alternative canopies and that worked out for the better. We had transparent canopy, normal canopy with underlay and small tables with white umbrellas. So without really planning for it, my akad was a small garden reception. Our neighbour allowed us to use his beautiful and spacious lawn for the guests while Kimi's family ate in our lawn. The florists were ThePoetryofFlowers which were also a late addition. They did my beautiful dias which looked sweet with draped satin across the white frame and decorated with 3 rose bunches of white, yellow and pink combinations to match the yellow tekad. Outside, the meja pengantin was simple with small boxes of roses and hydrangeas lined up with lanterns and crystal strings. Meanwhile the white umbrellas hand hanging lanterns already and we put small flower boxes which had gerberas and roses. I couldn't believe how pretty and amazing my garden wedding reception turned out to be!! alhamdulillahh. i prayed so that it wouldn't rain that night. it rained EVERYNIGHT that week. i was told that one should throw their underwear (?!) or used piece of clothing on the roof. not wanting to take any chances i threw the t-shirt i wore the night before on the roof and it didn't rain! so later when i said "maybe it didn't rain because i threw the shirt" mummy was like "jgn nak berangan la, daddy bgn tiap2 malam sembahyang hajat!" hehe rain would have ruined the beautiful set up! it only started raining at about 1.20pm (we had just finished our photoshoot!) and it rained in the morning.

the catering were from Kak June which is mummy's friend. They did the catering during the engagement and they did not fail. Everyone including MK and Freda loved their food. MK still mentions how yummy it was and Freda had 3 pinggan! Also we decided that all guests except for the groom's party could eat as they arrive rather than having to wait after the akad nikah which turned out well as we didn't have a backlog of people at the buffet table.

All in all i think my nikah ceremony went very smoothly as things just fell into place. no major mishaps, no major disaster at all.

the setting was beautiful and i couldn't ask for more.

again...alhamdulillah...i am finally Kimi's wife =)

Last night as his amoi

This is my final night as his daughter, before he passes the responsibilities to Kimi.

All I'm feeling right now is a little bit of sadness as I know its kinda hard for him to let me go.

I'm exhausted but luckily tom morning I'll be relaxing at a spa :)

Please pray that the akad and ceremony will go smoothly and that it doesn't rain cats and dogs tomorrow.

bridal shower and hen do's

last friday was my last friday night as a MISS and last day at the office as a CIK

so lunchtime my CBA girls (i usually spend my friday lunch with them) took me out to cafe stelle which is this awesome cafe in between the designer shops in pavillion. a boy gatecrashed my bridal but it was aaron, natte's son so he's so cute that he's forgiven! the cafe has a special promo at the mo where u buy 1 get 1 free pasta for rm28 which wasn't too bad.

then later that night it was my hen do/dinner at tamarind hill.
the theme was red and black ala this

but i get to wear whatever i want since it was my night. so i wore a champagne dress

i was about an hour late(ooops sorry girls!!) coz i went to do my hair but the other 2 were late too :P

so that night half of the party consisted of my bangi friends and the other half were of my kmys friends.

i couldn't thank Diana and Ann enough for organising the party! there were even party bags which consisted of: sweets, facial mask, and ehem the u know what.

Ann and Diana also got me something from LaSenza which is sooo sooo pretty!

oh did i tell you abt the gorgeous cake too??

after dinner we headed off to diana's crib aka our hang out place for the after party. so we continued on for some karaoke and dancing

i'm already off work today so i better get cracking on all the errands to do!

action plan for today;

- draft table seating (guestlist is well approaching 750 - we targeted to have 700!! *PANICKING*)

- order more chocs

- glue pins to organza flowers for corsages

- prepare flow of event

- revise MC's speech

- go for mani, pedi and heel scrub

- tidy room aka store room

- go to the bank!! (only got paid last Friday and by Saturday i only had RM94 left in the account!)
