If your like me you tend to experiment with what you have in your cupboard collection for you
natural hair. Recently I ran out of products to use on my hair and randomly mix conditioners and
any oils I could find to make my pre-poo. I decided to do a pre-poo to try and combat those
stubborn fairy knots that drove me insane. I picked up the coconut oil, castor oil, and olive oil
and realized (damn) I dont have enough oils. I remember I had some soya oil but never used it in
my hair. I decided to do some research and here is what I learnt.

Lately I have been listening to all the throw backs my heart can handle. I started this year on
such a good note, and even though am facing so much in my life right now, I couldn't be
happier. It's really weird to explain where it's coming from, I feel like it will all be okay, am

Natural Way to Whiten your teeth

Lately I have been so concerned about my teeth. I am use to have pearly whites and notice that
they had gotten a little darker in shade. Naturally I wanted to get rid of it, but knew that spending
loads of money at the dentist was out of the picture for me. I decided to do a few quick follow-ups
on research I had done a few years ago on baking soda.

It has been a few days I can already notice the difference in my teeth.

How to use?

It is quite simple, brush your teeth with baking soda as you would with tooth paste.
*put a tiny bit of toothpaste, water and baking soda into a cup and mix
*Use the paste to brush your teeth for about two minutes

Try not to do this too often, it is recommended that it is done twice a week until you have reached
the results you desire. Once you have nice white teeth, try doing this method once a month or two.

What Happens if it is done too often?

Baking soda will wear down the enamel in your teeth if it is done too often, and make your mouth more susceptible to cavities one sources says. I have many sources that say other wise some claim that
baking soda prevents cavities by eliminating the bacteria existent in our mouths when use accordingly.
I will say if you are going to use baking soda use it at your own discretion. There are always good and
bad in anything you use.

Update on My Natural Hair Journey

This was back in late September of 2010, I believe between September and October was the

last time I cut off any damaged ends. My hait was about 2-3inches. I have always been natural

but never really knew what to use or how to care for my hair. I was introduce to youtube by

a friend and never looked back. I have always loved hair, working in salons, doing shows.

I learned at an early age I had to do my own hair, besides I had no one else to do it.

I learned to braid, do weaves, twists, wigs and everything in between.

I can braid, weave, or do any style just by looking at it, am a very creative

person so it only comes naturally. The only thing I never learned that was

in between the styling...I had to learn to take care of my hair. I am glad I am

on this Natural Healthy Hair Journey.

Let's start 2012 in a great way. I am so happy to start a new year in 2012. I love all the memories
of 2011 but am ready for 2012 to make new ones. It was such a hard, heart breaking memorable year for me. I went through so much in one year, I never thought I could make it through. I am just glad
I had this blog to take my mind off things from time to time. Thank you all for your time, continuing to
read and follow my journey. Let's start the year right.

I know what helps me through anything is music and writing so what is a better way to start the
year then music. This first artist I was introduce to by a close friend and instantly fell in love with
him. I think his music is so real, truthful and simply soulful. Hope you enjoy him as much as I do.

For anyone close to me, they will tell you as a child I absolutely adored Will Smith.
I believed I was his number one fan, and a had huge crush on him. In my eyes he could
so no wrong, so I guess part of me is still going back to that place where I adored
him because am so excited to watch this movie. The trailer actually doesn't look that

On Wednesday (Dec 7) Mattel will auction a one-of-a-kind Nicki Minaj Barbie Doll at CharityBuzz.com,
Bids will be received through Dec. 19 and all proceeds will benefit Project Angel Food, which provides
food for men, woman and children affected by HIV and AIDS.

Reports are the doll was made in her image and will include every detail right down to the tattoo on
Nicki's left arm.

I really do think it's cute and very Nicki. What do you all think?

So I heard this recently ON TWITTER but paid not attention to it that drake, Big Sean and Ludacris had beef, really I thought we were over this beef shit. Anyway here is what drake had to say, which confuses me because people forgot you come after the legends not before so you need to take a back seat and yes I DO LIKE DRAKE MUSIC LOVE LUDARCRIS but without the legends there would be no drake, or no Ludacris or Big Sean (not a fan) but besides that its unnecessary beef!

Drake and Big Sean claimed that some artist like Ludacris are stealing their punchline flow...whatttttt? really anyways

Drake told AllHipHop last year:

that flow has been killed by so many rappers. And, I never want to use that flow again in life. [Laughs] I wanted to take if off my album, because I was like, I shut 'em down. Onyx. I hate the fact that that rhyme is still in there. To be honest, that flow, you can trace it back to likeI trace it back to Big Sean (artist on Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music). That's the first guy I heard utilize that flow throughout the duration of a verse. I'll give him that credit. I think Kanye got it from him. Me and Wayne found a dope way to do it. I don't want to sound cocky, but the best way its been used was on "Forever." Those lines just all individually make so much sense. They're all punchlines. Then a bunch of rappers started doing it and using the most terrible references in the world. I don't want to offend somebodyI hate that rappers picked that flow up. I wish they had left that for people that know how to use it. [They go like] "It's a parade! MACY'S!"

At that point, you never want to use it.

Luda had to take the youngins to school. Not only was Luda using the flow Drake THOUGHT he and Wayne created long before Drake wheeled his way on the scene, but plenty other rappers have used this flow for years--Cam'Ron, Method Man, B.I.G, Q-Tip, and even Big Sean's boss Kanye West. And on Luda's new mixtape 1.21 Gigawatts, he included a skit of him rapping the same flow...from when he was 12!

It's the end of the week and since I have done a fashion find post in a while I decided to do one today

This has to be one of my favourite trends this fall, this year has really opened me up on the many makeup choices I can now make and wear. I remember I would never wear red but lately I have been wearing it, neutrals, and pinks they actually compliment my skin.

sometimes I get in a rut with my natural hair so these are great styles ideas to modify for my
hair.

Full eyebrows

If your like me your eyebrows dont grow in that full. I really wish they would because I think
full eyebrows are so sexy.
