About Me
I'm a software engineer with more than two decades of commercial experience, but my coding journey goes all the way back to primary school, tapping out BASIC programs on an 8-bit Atari. Over the years I've worn quite a few hats—from network administrator to frontend developer—before settling into my true home on the backend. That's where I've spent most of my professional life, building reliable systems and solving complex problems.
Outside of work, I'm happily married to my brilliant wife and proud dad to two amazing kids who keep life interesting. When I'm not coding, I'm probably practicing Wing Tsun Kung Fu, studying a foreign language (currently Chinese), or heading into the mountains for a good hike.
