Chiar și după aceea trebuie adăugat în cantități mici și doar dacă este neapărat necesar. Bebelușii până la 1 an nici măcar nu au dezvoltată memoria gustului. Prin urmare nu va face diferența dintre o mâncare cu sare și una fără, deoarece nu va ține minte că cea cu sare este poate mai gustoasă. Prin urmare dacă adăugați sare puteți să ii faceți mai mult rău decât bine (la vârste fragede, adausul de sare poate duce la probleme ale rinichilor). Rezistați celor din jur care vă sfătuiesc să adăugați sare că e mai bună mâncarea, că poate că nu vrea să mănânce deoarece nu este sărată mâncarea. Nu este așa. Nu spun că nu am folosit borcane cu mâncare preparată pentru bebeluși, deoarece nu ar fi adevărat. Când ne-am hotărât să alegem o mâncare la borcan pentru cazurile în care suntem plecați de acasă și nu avem unde să îi preparăm mâncarea proaspătă am rămas șocat să constat că mărcile cele mai scumpe erau cele care conțineau sare, iar cele mai ieftine erau cele fără adaus de sare. E clar că am ales pe cele fără adaus de sare și chiar îi plac (am încercat și cele scumpe mai târziu și nu i-au plăcut deloc). La alegerea cărnii este greu deoarece sunt foarte puțini producători care oferă carne ușoară de pasăre de la animale neinjectate și crescute fără concentrate. Când găsesc în supermarchet astfel de carne cumpăr mai multă, o porționez și o congelez pe porții, cât este necesar pentru o masă. Pun la încălzit aproximativ 250 ml de lapte UHT 3,5% grăsime până devine fierbinte, aproximativ 60 grade celsius (cel mai simplu puneți degetul în lapte și dacă îl simțiți fierbinte dar suportabil, este bun). Adaug zeamă de lămâie sau oțet, aproximativ o linguriță și amestec. Dacă nu se încheagă mai adaug puțin. Când s-a închegat îl pun intr-u tifon să se scurgă. Oțetul/zeama de lămâie rămâne în zăr și brânza va rămâne dulce. Între timp curățați mărul și tăiați-l cubulețe.
