The bright, fun color palette was inspired by the outdoors: turquoise sky, green grass, and sunshine yellow. I chose a strong, modern font with a little bit of quirkiness. The bright graphics and bold font choice imply trust and stability, but nothing is too serious looking, since I wanted to stress the importance of play. 

We’re still working on some other elements, including a report card for pets and a website, so check back in a few weeks.

Oh, hello, February! How did you sneak up on me like this? It’s going to be a fun month: we’re busy in the studio working on some brand new Delphine wedding invitation designs, which I’ll preview soon. Valentine’s Day is around the corner … the perfect opportunity to mail out  valentine’s day photo card  to all your loved ones if you never did get around to Christmas or New Year’s cards.

Also this month I’m headed back to Cali for Tradeshow Camp’s PAPER CAMP. I’m so excited to meet all our new students, catch up with some of my favorite paper peeps, and visit with my family & friends.

Inspired by the golden age of advertising, and the trappings of a graphic design studio circa 1959, the brand has a decidedly retro vibe. Organizing comes down to having a home for everything … and, I believe, a pretty home for everything. Oh, and yes, that is our new 2013 desk calendar. It’s a super limited edition (fewer than 100 were printed, and we have about 30 left). They are the same size as always (4.25in x 5.5in), so if you have an easel from years past it will fit perfectly. Most pages are letterpressed, a few are flat printed. They are $22 (easel not included). If you’d like to order one please shoot an email over to erika at delphinepress dot com.
