The big — if not biggest — problem of high-end touch-screen phones like iPhone is that they are so delicate they have fat chance surviving when dropped. And the problem with clumsy people like me — and you, if you’re still the same Carla I knew — is that we tend to drop stuffs.

I doubt Apple will replace or fix your phone, even during warranty period, if there are evidences that it has been dropped, dents or cracks for instance. So, I put a protective cover on my iPhone. It looks ugly, but it’s still okay although I dropped it a few times. Or maybe I was just lucky.

I didn’t know that the replacement phone could be of a fixed formerly defected phone. Anyhoo, Vincent dropped his iPhone once and it was over a year since he bought it (no warranty). If he had gone to Apple store in Denpasar, they would have sent it to Jakarta to fix and it might cost him a fortune and time. Especially time. So he browsed how to fix your own iPhone in forums and YouTube, figured out what exactly was the problem, opened his iPhone up and with a guide from an online video, he fixed it himself. But I thought that was such a gamble. What if he actually made it even worse?

Nevertheless, it’s a very informative post and I have to say that I like your new blog look! Simple.
