I am extremely excited right now; it’s great to be home!

To My Regular Readers

Confused? I know you’ve skimmed and noticed this is almost an exact duplicate of the last WELCOME! post only a short time ago. (Some others will be this way as well.)

I wasn’t going to write this at all, I was simply going to break into the first post as if it were a brand new blog. I thought twice, thinking the comment section that follows would have been chaotic.

The truth is I spent the last day or two unplugged. I laid in bed and thought.

I thought about the personal post I wrote, and a Dr. appt. I had afterward (which I am not writing about) and decided things are going to change even more.

I almost threw it in altogether.

I said almost twice, so please keep reading…

Apology

For the past couple-few months I’ve been really confused about the different directions I’ve wanted to take things in. I’ve had y’all boppin’ around like bunnies on speed.

Perhaps I’ve done a little too much “thinking out-loud”; posting pretty much every time I had a thought, no matter what it was. It’s tough for me not too though, being so into community, transparency, and all that jazz.

After all, I am “The King of Feedback” both giving and (more to this point) receiving.

Woot!

Besides, my family understands exactly nothing of what I do, so y’all are, well…..stuck with me. LOL

Anyhoo, I really sincerely apologize for the hoops of confusion I’ve put y’all through, and am very proud to say, we is home! Finally?

Now that I’ve apologized for all the boppin’ and jumpin’, my sincerest thanks goes to those now reading this; you bopped and jumped right along with me, and I truly appreciate it.

FYI: Umm yea, you’ve noticed by now the blog is pretty baron of articles. Obviously they had to all go to make the transition, but they are not “gone” yet.

They’ve all been drafted, so to speak. Some will be republished over time, most will be deleted as they no longer ‘fit” anywhere. Luckily this time, there were only 10 total.

To My Newer Readers

First and foremost, never mind everything I just wrote to my regular readers. Seriously, totally unnecessary headaches. Everyone will be caught up an on the same page within the next few updates.

DEDC – Now & Future

This could easily be, and normally would be, post #2. Knowing I’m already riding the line on patience, yours and mine, we’ll get it all in now.

This blog will play two roles, months apart from each other.

DEDC – Now

Starting now, until further notice, this blog will be similar in one way to 99% of all blogs out there; as an all-in-one marketing blog, housing all aspects of Online/Offline marketing tips.

Living proof of a vital lesson right here. I said more then once I do not want the same ‘ol-same ‘ol style marketing tips blog as everyone else. However, to make it online you must be willing to change and adapt as your circumstances do.

Luckily for everyone, that’s where the similarities will end.

Two key areas will show distinct differences:

1. Look and Feel: Big changes coming to the theme for starters.

2. Content: Not looking like it was written by a 3rd hand bystander merely regurgitating what he/she read elsewhere five minutes before, not actually having any real experience or knowledge of what is being written.

I’ll say no offense intended because it’s true, sorta, but I’m not worried. That will only sound offensive to those that do it. Be careful how you comment, you may give yourself away.

DEDC – Future

Somewhere down the road, once things on my (personal) end simmer a little, things here will change drastically, BUT, you will barely feel a thing. You have my word on that this time.

This blog will become my true Flagship. The HUB of my empire. Anything and everything coming from me will pass through here first. My most important site, no matter what’s created from here on out.

The first creation I’m speaking of will be the Network. The DEDC Network. A collection of all the sites, blogs, and whatever I create, all under one roof.

I’ll leave you with this for now…

Coming Updates

In a few days’ I’ll start publishing a series of updates; a glimpse into what lies ahead.

1. The first three blogs that will make up the initial DEDC Network; again, not to be launched for some time.

2. The Newsletter. The reason you will barely feel a thing as things switch. HINT: probably the first time you’ve been hooked into multiple sites via ONE subscription.

3. Forum & Live Chat. A glimpse even further into the future. Both to be launched hopefully sometime 2011.

4. It’s a Secret, but there may be cash involved.

5. Secret #2, how do you feel about insanity?

Then we will slide effortlessly into what we’re all here for…..Marketing. Getting down to business!
