Motorola has launched new entry-level Motorola MOTOYUVA W396 budget mobile phone, in India, which has clamshell style design and this stylish, slim phone features 65K color TFT screen, an integrated FM radio tuner with recording, MP3 Media Player, GPRS connection, and extended talk time of up to 9 hours.

The Motorola MOTOYUVA W396 is a dual-band GSM 900 / GSM 1800 MHz network ready clamshell form factor type design and it features a large 1.8-inch, 128 x 160 pixels colour CSTN TFT display capable of displaying 65536 (16 bit) colors.

Weighing just 94 grams, the new Motorola MOTOYUVA W396 budget handset does not have any external display but instead offers three bright colored LED-lit icons on its external cover which let the user know of any missed calls, incoming messages & battery status by showing a colourful icon on the external casing.

Sony Ericsson has announced it�??s upcoming Z555 java-enabled mobile phone with a unique and sleek design. It features gesture control that allows you to interact with your mobile phone without normally touching it.

For example, you can simply move your hand over the Sony Ericsson Z555 to mute an incoming call or snooze the alarm. Hmmm, the snoozing part is pretty interesting (I wonder how far away the mobile phone can be to be able to �??interact�?? with it, should be pretty useful if you just don�??t want to wake up in the morning just yet).

The Z555 mobile phone will be available in two versions. The Z555i which has EDGE/GSM/GPRS at 900/1800/1900MHz frequencies for the Asia and Europe market while the Z555a which has EDGE/GSM/GPRS at 850/1800/1900MHz frequencies will be for the Americas.

Sony Ericsson has just announced the W350 mobile phone. This upcoming Java-enabled mobile phone from Sony Ericsson has a design I haven�??t seen for quite a while �?? flip-style mobile phones. This is the first from Sony Ericsson (if I don�??t count the ones sporting the Ericsson brand).

The Sony Ericsson W350 flip-style mobile phone is very slim at 11mm and the flip design is reminiscent of the Ericsson T39 mobile phone. The W350 will be available for as 350i for Asia and Europe, 350a for the Americas and 350c for mainland China.

It will have a 176�?220 pixel display capable of 262K colors. Multimedia Support includes AAC+, AAC, MP3, M4A, 3GP, AMR-NB, AMR-WB, WAV for sound; GIF, JPEG, BMP, PNG, WBMP, SWF, Adobe�?® Flash Liteâ�??¢ 1.1, GIF for image and animation. It has a 1.3 megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom, Walkman player 2.0 withTrackID, Media Manager content transfer software, PlayNowâ�??¢ and FM radio with RDS.

Well, another mobile phone has just been officially announced by Sony Ericsson which seems to be beefing up it�??s phone portfolio in time for the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The Sony Ericsson W760 has some nifty features that includes version 3.0 of the Walkman�?® player.

There are articles and pictures of a still unannounced Motorola ROKR E7. The mobile phone is rumored to be equipped with a 640�?480 resolution 2.8-inch touch-screen.

The Motorola phone will sport a 5.0 mega-pixel camera using a CCD chip from Kodak, will have communication functions such as USB v2.0, Bluetooth 2.0, EDGE, GPS and WiFi and a slot for SD/SDHC memory cards.

It will have support for Java mobile MIDP and the coolest part of the lingering news is that it uses a Linux operating system.
