Spring Is In The Air, There’s Flowers Everywhere…Well, Almost!

Spring has always brought a time of change for me. It seems like since I’ve moved from home a pretty big event has taken place in the spring. In fact, every time we’ve moved in the past 5 years it’s been in the spring.

I can honestly say I never truly appreciated the beauty of spring until I was in my early twenties. I finally started noticing the beauty spring brings and cherish it each year.

Yesterday as I was driving I looked over and saw green in the field, then looked to the other side and saw a tiny bit more hiding beneath the brown, dead grass of yesterday. When I was playing out front with my kids I noticed the beginning of tiny little buds on our tree.

I love spring! I love the change of weather. I love breathing in the fresh air, walks to the park, and cool evenings outside. I love knowing summer is just around the corner as well.

I look forward to the coming weeks to see the outdoors come alive. A big part of me seems to come alive as well. My step feels a little lighter already. February was the shortest month, but usually one of the longest for me. I think Spring is a beautiful gift from God. He’s showing his miraculous beauty and amazing creation everywhere I turn! I love the motivation I feel as Spring creeps upon us.
