In this epsiode, I mix up the format - again! - with a solocast and an audio segment wherein I interview my parents who just returned from a visit to the states. I ramble a lot, and make up for last week's horriffic nonmention of Jack aka Wander Wolf from Wander Radio. I talk about games, music, including pimping the band Sparkadia, and other goings-on in the Tosus household. I also answer a voicemail from Arkle, and apologize for forgetting Wander Wolf

Episode 16: Sweet iPhone 16

So this show is all over the place. But then when is our show not. We kick it off with a wonderful audio submission by Jack Jaffee and his gang of the usual podcasting suspects... Wander Wolf, Kentucky John, Emily from Ohio, Nobilis and his wife, Dee, Sam Chupp, Mark the Encaffinated ONE, and Philippa "Sieve the Shining" Ballantine.
After commiserating, we jump into a main topic that lasts about five seconds, then answer a lot of really good voicemails.
Special Guest appearances by Charlie and Daisy, two of our cats. Promos played were for 12v Theater (hey, it's a new promo, what do you expect?) and Mur Lafferty's Playing for keeps, because despite the fact that I'm not her target audience, Mur is a great podcaster.

Update 2: The new vesion is up now. You can download it from here, or redownload it with your favorite podcathcer. Except iTunes. There is a poorly documented trick though: If you delete the old version from the feed, collapse the feed, and then click on the triangle to show the feed again while holding the shift (or option) key, it will show the deleted items, and you can click "get" to redownload the show. Note to Apple: Please to include "Download Again" option to rightclick menu. kthxbai.

Episode 12: Schooling the Geek

Late but in earnest. Scheduling problems caused us not to be able to record until Friday night, which basically meant I wasn't able to edit the show until today. So, sorry tht it's late, but think of it as getting a two-fer this week! In this episode, Leanna and I discuss such things as Fringe (promising) and the US Life on Mars series (avoid!), the new Indiana Jones movie, and others.
We delve into the topic of the German School System, which goes on a bit long, and along the way recount some anecdotes about our school life. By the way, that Wikipedia article has a lot of additional information, and is pretty interesting. Worth checking out.

No real show this week. I had plans that fell through, so I'm by myself making up for not having a real show (fun fact: ever notice how some shows spin not having a real show by calling the replacement a "bonus show"?) Lots of plugs today, but first, a special musical guest star: Silence, Silence.

Shoutouts to a ton of podcasters, especially Striptaculous, where we were guest stars. Also, 12v Theater, the Milf and Cookies podcast, the Farpoint Recap, and probably some other shows too that I forgot.
