<p style="text-align: justify;">Created by portuguese designer <a title="" href="http://www.behance.net/ClaudioCigarro/frame" target="_blank">cláudio cigarro</a>, &#8216;structend&#8217; is a light that draws on the formation of tents,  especially their appearance at night, which when illuminated make the interior structure visible due to shadows caused by inner light. the design consists of a geodesic-esque form, internal lighting fixture and nylon skin. The textile exterior adapts to the shape of the light and is easily removable for replacement and cleaning. The interior lighting element has a color coating, heightening the visual experience to the viewer.<p></p>

The two-seater includes a buckypaper reinforced body that is stronger than steel and lighter than carbon fiber as well as dual electric engines that can be recharged via solar panels or through an inductive power transfer system.<p></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">This chair is part of a series called <a href="http://www.nendo.jp/en/works/detail.php?g=furniture&amp;t=187" target="_blank">Thin Black Lines</a>, the series includes a chair and clothes rack intended to apear as sketches in the air or calligraphy symbols. Slight black lines like the traces of sketches drawn in the air made transparent surfaces and volumes appear, which we assigned practical functions. The outlines remained after simplifying paintings of plants and animals. They are condensed expressions of meaning, similar to Japanese calligraphy.<p></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Multiple cuts come within millimetres of cutting through the wood creating flex. It is able to be laid flat then stood up and slouched over; its own weight keeps it in this curved form. It is a combination of short and full length slates giving reference to the original pallet. All the slates are then bound together by strips of scooter tyre inner tube, creating Palatable Curve from only pallet wood and inner tube.<p></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Using waste material from a previous project, a frame was created to hold pre-fabricated and pre-finished louvered panels.  The panels provide a seductive lighting effect in a design that is 100% recyclable, and all made from existing, re-appropriated and waste products. Ventilite is currently being developed to produce as an Open Design Project. <p></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Eco Clock is a brilliant way to make sure we extract every bit of juice from a discarded AA battery. There are 12 slots on the face of the clock to host the used batteries and collectively they power the device. The design also includes a really fun feature where the different levels of juice in each battery are represented by color. Designer: Bor-Ru Huang<p></p>

On the streets of Cape Town you can say: ‘ those okes have cool bikes’ This OKES bike frame is made out of high quality solid French oak wood.</p>
