London-based designer Marc Newson created modular bunk bed ‘bunky’ for italian home furnishing company magis. assembled from just four pieces, it is made from rotational-moulded polyethylene and creates a sturdy, secure sleep and play environment for kids. All surfaces are smooth with no sharp edges, and the material is highly durable and easy to clean. perforations under  the mattress allow for ventilation. ‘Bunky’ is also available as a child’s single bed.

Hexalámparas were created  exploring the interaction of hexagonal cells between two offset boundary surfaces. The final model resulted into an interesting shape capable of hiding the light source, but also can cast beautiful light gradients and shadows.

It’s a good idea to have the Party Snail when socializing with friends and family. Never drink other’s by mistake. It has a sense of humor when it’s seen on the edge of a cup or plate. The party Snail seems scrawling up to the edge of the cup. They are very nicely designed and functional. Party Snail is a identifier for cups and plates. It comes with 12 different colors. 6 snails per package. They are made of food grade silicon.

This is a typeface that Wendy Steenks designed to create the company logo of the MHKE Museum. It stands for cooperation, growth and the connection of all the different artists and their work in this museum. Bulagarian designer Konstantin Achkov has presented ‘frame chairs’ collection. The form of the chairs are influenced by traditional frame construction, like that of the eiffel tower. Specific sides form the base, where every element of the furniture puzzle is assembled only using puzzle joints without glue, nails, screws or bolts. All sections are made of 18mm beech plywood, cut with a CNC router.

Connect is a collaboration project between Owen Read and  Josh Linder-Haber  to create a modular furniture system that with as few of parts as possible can fill many different needs. This is the first prototype showing the two types of metal connectors, when combined with different length dowels can create different seating options.
