Well I’m a creative type so I do tend to give up. Not this time though I have kept going and going and going. And it still isn’t working.

Sometimes giving up may be a good plan as keeping going is delusional or not the right direction.

Michael Caine’s headmaster reminds me of my youngest son’s head of year, who said he would never go to university and would be nothing but a bin-man. With my help, and having watched my attitude towards any stumbling block in my way,he went to university-twice!! he is now Head of Department for P.E. at a Comprehensive school.
Had he listened to his teachers, he would not have succeeded. He took to heart what I taught him-listen politely, then decide if this is valuable information, and keepi it, or junk and bin it.Above all, never quit!
i myself was told the same thing at school. I trained as an SRN, then as a Midwife, I worked as a Practice Nurse and mentored nurses through their 6 month Practice Nurse Course, which i had helped to set up in Harrow. This course became Univerity accredited and now runs throughout the UK. Neve, ever quit!!
