The role of a visual designer is to balance usability with desirability using color, style, type, icons, information design and visual hierarchy to indicate relationships, communicate about brand, and hint at the behavior of LimeWire. Looking for a Freelance (preferably full-time) Web developer to join a talented team in building a large-scale community-based web 2.0 shopping website from scratch. You will play a key role, developing the information architecture/structure in collaboration with the digital design director and project manager. Our workflow pairs a Designer, Senior developer, Junior Developer and Project Manager, who between the 4 of them can launch a custom CMS driven website. As Senior Developer you will lead the technical documentation, implementation, development and project rollout. You should be comfortable leading a small team of engineers and working collaboratively with our front-end team under tight deadlines; this project will operate in a high-traffic web environment, so everything must be extremely fast and scalable.
