Yup, it happens to everyone. Except I wasn’t prepared this time. Losing 11G of photos and video, isn’t the best way to celebrate the weekend. So for being an idiot, that’s what I get. Of course I backed up everything but those photos that I had just taken from an amazing hiking weekend. So enough of the boo-hooing, Frank Chimero talks about his set up, and he also talks about keeping track of his work and backing it up and cloning and more backing up, you get the idea. So check out his post, and make sure you have at least a couple of copies of everything somewhere out there.

If you’re living in a hole then this post might be for you. If you’re paying attention you have seen some pretty rad illustrations coming from the Fifty and Fifty State Mottos project Dan Cassaro from Young Jerks has created. There are some great things to look at from Matt Stevens to Mikey Burton to Tad Carpenter and many more. It’s the whole gang. SThere are 50 states. If you don’t know anyone on this site, then I recommend you go and follow their work and recognize, ‘cause this is the future.

Kelly part of the AU ThinkTank is documenting their trips to see and hear awesome people. Feeding the mind is always a good thing.

Here is the most recent video. They visited Nick at The Half and Half for a studio tour/talk. Then went on to hear Debbie Millman speak (i’m a bit jealous). Keep it up AU ThinkTank, you have brought a tear to my eye.
