This is an illustration I made for the Geek-Art Game of Thrones art show celebrating the start of the third season.

For people who didn’t read the book by now, beware of spoilers. I included many details of persons and events that are going to happen in the third book

of “A Song of Ice and Fire” and probably also in the third season (who knows?).

I’m a big fan of the books and the show and it was a lot of fun to make

an illustration about it finally.

Unicorn-Pegasus Initials

The Unicorn-Pegasus letters are an development of the Unicorn font. With the translation of the original drawings to the usable Unicorn font, many details disappeared and the hand-drawn character was lost.

This series of initials is extremely detailed and compared to the Unicorn Font, no shapes have been cut. Each Unicorn-Pegasus is complete, from the tip of the horn to the far end of the tail.

The images are usable in many lay-out programs as .tiff files, both as initial or illustration of texts. Of course the initials are an excellent companion to the Unicorn font.

The additional publication, illustrated with the initials and heraldric patterns based on 16th century hatching, provides an insight on how the initials can be used. The publication contains multiple elements, from a booklet to a series of posters.

Face

The face is designed by combining a USB flash drive and an LED light, using the USB output as a cheeky tongue.

Although it contains a battery, it can be charged when the USB storage is in use without any extra effort on the users part.
Not only providing the convenience of two useful devices in one easy to carry product, it also eliminates the need for disposable batteries making it that a little bit greener for the environment.
