New Postage system live

We've re-worked the postage system on Design Supremo to offer Standard or Premium delivery. Why you ask? Well, many of our products are limited editions, and we want to make sure they all get safely to a happy home and don't end up lost in sorting rooms around the world.

Postage prices are specific to each country. In the Checkout when you select your Country you'll be shown the correct prices and given the option for Standard or Premium delivery. You'll notice that your Order Total (on the left) will update automatically reflect your chosen postage.

We strongly recommend Premium delivery for expensive or limited edition items. Premium delivery includes increased insurance and requires a signature on delivery.

We've kept things simple and now just have these 2 prices no matter what's in your order. Postage starts from as little as £3.95 for Standard UK delivery.

We are very excited to announce that 7 artworks by the wonderful Lisa Jones Studio are now available for purchase at Design Supremo. The creations of Lisa Jones Studio are the combined efforts of Lisa and her partner, Edward Underwood, who have brilliantly joined bold colours with a retro feel in this fabulous collection. We are pleased to announce the exciting news that Design Supremo has a new team member - Chris Lees has joined operations at Supremo Towers and will be responsible for marketing and social media.

Here's everything you need to know about the fella...

What were you doing before joining Design Supremo?
Ben actually headhunted me from my own social media business which had only been running a matter of days - there had been talk about me joining DS at some point so I guess it was only a matter of time! Before that I travelled the world developing and delivering creative events and I am also still involved with my own photo mosaic concept business.

What can we expect from Design Supremo in 2012?
It's really exciting and we are going to be busy - Ben and I will be working hard to continue to develop what we offer at DS, both in terms of artwork and the choice/number of artists we have on the website. The aim is to at least double what we have on there now!

Design Supremo is 5 years old this year, are there any plans to celebrate?

NEW to Design Supremo: Dee Beale

Dee began her career as a graphic designer working in design studios for over 10 years. She began printmaking 3 years ago and is now a full time print maker hand printing all her own work from her small printmaking studio in the Peak District Derbyshire.

Many things including nature, animals and plant forms inspire her work. She also loves the pattern and colour of vintage Scandinavian folk art that is often reflected in her work.

At the moment most of her prints are produced on a Japanese Print Gocco. Print Gocco is small self-contained tabletop screen-printing machine first produced in Japan in the 1970s. The process is very similar to screen-printing and at one time a Print Gocco was found in most Japanese homes.

Dee has exhibited in a small selection of UK galleries and currently has a selection of her prints published on note cards by Attic Art Publishing London.

New - hand-lettered maps of London, NYC and Paris by Ursula Hitz.

Born in rural Switzerland, Ursula cultivated diverse talents in typography, graphics and cheese making. Since moving to London over a decade ago, her work has focused on location and place.

Using classic craft techniques, such as hand lettering and screen printing, she meticulously creates typographic maps of the world’s best-known cities. Ursula is interested in the ways that letters capture not only the dimensions of a place, but its personality too.
