Tulips at the Dallas Arboretum

As the seasonal changes in DeSoto, TX take place, so does the planned entertainment in the area. In fact, as the weather warms up, you’ll find many upcoming spring events in DeSoto to keep you busy and help ring in the new season.

The Dallas Arboretum celebrates seasonal changes in DeSoto by welcoming spring with the 25^th anniversary of Dallas Blooms, with over 500,000 spring bulbs blooming, including Dutch irises, daffodils, tulips and hyacinths. The event takes place in March, with artscaping, a fine arts show, and a three-day sale in the garden.

The North Texas Irish Festival will be in full swing the first weekend in March as well, located in Fair Park, with harps, fiddles, a culinary stage, and more. The first weekend of April hosts the Deep Ellum Art Festival, with eclectic local art and musical performances over three days, culminating in a pet parade on Sunday.
