To be honest, I’ve put a lot of thought into what I should do with this blog. It’s been three years and a half, almost four, that I’ve posted here random things and talked about pseudo-important stuff

But I’ve now decided to make the jump from wordpress.com to wordpress.org. Brillant eh!

Self-hosting is really more simple and I’ve come to a point where I can manage it so it made sense really. It’s still very much a work in progress, but I’m happy with what I’ve accomplished so far; maybe it’ll be an incentive for me to be a better blogger.. I’m still wondering whether this blog should be more personal, or a more professional-like kind of outlet, but I like the idea that it’s both, it’s my little creation.

I know I will only get half of the traffic I’m getting here but who’s blogging for the stats? I know I’m not
I’m keeping this page until I’ve done the whole domain transfer thing properly, cause there’s loads of bits and bobs I still have to take care of on the new website. But I won’t post here anymore.

So that’s the end of an era, haha. Not really. But see you on the new website! And don’t forget to change your bookmarks, kids!
