It was mass to remember for parishioners at St. Francis D’Assisi Church in Southwest Detroit. Every seat in the place was full for the 125the anniversary celebration, and ironically it was a new phenomenon that helped made the celebration of the Church’s history so special.
Detroit is looking for volunteers to make sure neighborhoods are safe around Halloween. The campaign is called Angels Night, and its an effort to stop arson fires in the neighborhoods.
