Thousands of people use candles on a daily basis. There are at least 10 in our house at any given time. The only problem with traditional candles that you might buy in the store is that when they are burned, they can release chemicals into the atmosphere. This can be both harmful to you and the environment. Plus you always have to make sure you have a lighter on hand to light them. Now there is an even better solution to those who like to have candlelight at night.

This is the Solar Candle. This candle is solar powered and is the perfect eco-friendly candle. A great benefit to having this candle over traditional candles is that all you have to do is place it in a place where there is sunlight and that is it. It will charge in the day and then automatically light when it gets dark. The Solar Candle features a realistic flickering light and is made of candle wax that doesn’t drip because it doesn’t get lit. The Solar Candle will provide the perfect mood lighting for any situation. The Solar Candle can be found here for 13 Euros (around 16.75 US).

Our socitey is always looking for things that can make life faster and more convenient. For many people this means that they look for gadgets that can be used in more than one way. This usually means that they are looking for gadgets that are two or three gadgets combined into one package. While most people look for these kind of gadgets, they still want gadgets that look nice and are not boring. There are many gadgets available that fit this category but there is no other gadget that is as cute and functional as the Pico Smiley Face Projector Video Camera, or known as just Pico.

Pico is two gadgets in one package. It is a video camera and projector with an incredibly cute outside package. The Pico features a video camera for one eye, the other eye is a projector and the smile is the microphone. The other neat feature of the Pico is that it has two small feet on the bottom that allow this gadget to stand on its own. The Pico can also be placed onto a tripod if you choose to use one. The Pico also has a full size display that allows you to view your photos and recording. The overall best thing about the Pico Smiley Face Projector Video Camera is that it works independently from a computer, which anyone who does presentations know can be the biggest problem. Pico allows the user to record a presentation while they are giving it all from the same gadget. Although this is still in the concept phase, it will hopefully make other manufacturers make the move to make something functional and as cute as Pico.

Air purifiers have become something that many people want to have in their homes to make the air they breathe healthier. The only problem with traditional air purifiers are that they often take up not only space but they have to be plugged into the wall. These air purifiers can’t be taken with you when you go somewhere either. Now there is an air purifier that can be connected through the USB port.

This is the USB Anion Air Purifier. The way this purifier works is that it emits healthy negative ions into the air. These ions then attach themselves to air molecules and negatively charge them. The emitted negative ions purify the air and remove the toxic substances. These toxic substances include odors, dust and molds. The Anion Air Purifier is effective for prevention of certain diseases that are caused by pollutants in the air. This gadget can be found in red/black and yellow/white and weights only 101 grams. This makes the USB Anion Air Purifier perfect for taking anywhere you take your laptop.

Digital cameras are the way that just about everyone is going now.
Verizon Wireless has several great phones and has had a few new one become available in the last few months. One of the newest mobile phones to come from Verizon is the Droid X. Many people are saying this mobile phone is better than any other Android phone available. With many features available on the Droid X, it is perfect for all types of people.

The Droid X has features that make it unlike any other mobile phone available on the market. One of the most attractive features is the phones edge to edge 4.3 inch display. This makes the Droid X perfect for watching movies because of its large widescreen format and superior audio. It also features an 8.0 megapixel camera with auto focus, touch to focus and face recognition. Some of the other feature of the Droid X are 8 GB internal memory, 16 GB microSD card pre-installed, integrated Google and Twitter, Bluetooth capabilities and 3G mobile Hotspot that can support up to 5 different devices. The Droid X can also be used as a music player thanks to the Android Music Player. The one downside to this mobile phone, at least for the moment, is that it can’t be modified or have the software changed as it could render your Droid X unusable. Motorola say they are looking into this issue. Overall, this is a great mobile phone for those who are looking for one that can do almost everything your laptop can.

Brushing your teeth is an everyday part of life. The only part, that many people are not aware of, is that your toothbrush can harbor more bacteria than you intend to brush away from your teeth. This can be especially true for those of us who forget to replace our toothbrushes on a regular basis. This unintentional addition of bacteria to your mouth can cause many different types of dental problems. You can buy toothbrush sanitizer but many of us don’t have the extra room for a sanitizer, until now.

The UV Mini Toothbrush Sanitizer is the smallest sanitizer available on the market and has been proven to be efficient to 99.99%. That makes this the perfect toothbrush sanitizer for anyone who doesn’t have the extra space or for anyone who travels. This sanitizer works by using a CCFL UV-C lamp that emits 253.7 nm wavelengths of UV light. There are two different types of sanitizer available: one is powered by USB cable alone and the other has a rechargeable battery and uses the USB cable. The great thing about this sanitizer is that it will automatically start when the lid is closed and turns off when opened. There is an LED light that shows blue when being used and red when charging. The UV Mini Toothbrush Sanitizer is not only great to take on your trips but it is stylish as well.

Staring up at the stars in the night sky can be a fun and educational experience. For those in the city, they don’t get the chance to experience the stars at night because of the light pollution. Now there is something that even people in the city can use to see all of the constellations in the night sky. This is the AstroEye Planetarium.

With this spherical shaped planetarium, you will be able to see over 8,000 stars on your room ceiling. The AstroEye Planetarium has the ability to rotate either clockwise or counterclockwise at five different speeds. This will give you the idea that you are outside looking up into the night sky. An interesting feature of this planetarium is that you can view the constellations either labeled or not. Some other features of the AstroEye Planetarium are day to day movement of stars, shooting star function, and a sleep timer function. The sleep timer can be set for either 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes. This is the perfect function for using in a child’s room because it will turn itself off after the selected period of time.

More and more people are turning to laptops as their computers of choice, mainly because they portable. The only drawback to using a laptop is the touchpad mouse. It isn’t always the most user friendly thing to use. Many people bypass using the touchpad mouse by buying an external mouse. If you are on the go the external mouse can be a hassle to take with you. To solve this hassle, there is the Swiftpoint mouse.

The Swiftpoint mouse is the perfect solution because it is small and better suited for portability. Unlike other external mice, this mouse won’t get in the way when it is not being used and you most likely won’t even notice it is there. The mouse is small enough that it can be used on the laptop’s palm rest or any other flat surface. The Swiftpoint mouse is wireless and has a USB dock that can be secured to the laptop. Having the mouse secured to the laptop when on the go means that you don’t have to carry it separately. The USB dock also acts as a charger for the Swiftpoint mouse. When fully charged the mouse’s battery will last up to three weeks. There is also the choice of a quick 30 second charge that will charge the mouse for about one hour.

Now that the iPhone 4 is out, there are issues starting to show themselves. The one problem that Apple has acknowledged is the issues with reception. The best way to fix the problem is by changing phones or calling Apple to see what can be done. The easier way to fix the reception problem is by buying the Vapor case from Element Case.

The Vapor case for the iPhone 4 is made out of material that acts as a non-conductive barrier that will eliminate reception problems when holding the phone with your bare hands. The great thing about this case is that it has shock absorbing material on the inside of the case. This keeps your iPhone from being damaged when dropped, as it will probably happen at least once in the phone’s life. Not only does the Vapor case have practical benefits but will give your iPhone a sophisticated and clean look. This clean look is kept by having the on/off button designed into the Vapor case. This iPhone case will give you function and a great look as well.

Anyone who owns a laptop knows that when you use them for a long time they can get pretty warm, if not hot. This is a major concern because the heat can cause damage to internal components of the laptop. This is why so many people who own laptops own a cooling pad of some sort to keep air flowing and to take it off the surface, of whatever it is sitting on, to keep it cooler. The only downside to many of these cooling pads is that they can cause awkward hand positioning and difficulties seeing the screen.

Now there is a revolutionary laptop cooling pad that allows for some customizations in how it is used. This new laptop cooling pad is the Neckey Laptop Cooling Station. The great thing about this cooling pad is that because of its patented design you can play around a little bit with the angle that it is set up at. This allows you to find the perfect angle that makes it easy to view the screen. Another great feature is the attached keyboard for good hand positioning. The Neckey Laptop Cooling Station fits laptops from 10.0 to 14.1 inches and comes with two USB ports on the side of the attached keyboard.

Have you ever worried about the plugs that you plug all of your precious electronic devices into or worry about being electrocuted when pulling a plug because of water? Water can create a real worry when talking about water either being in the plug outlet or on the plug itself. There are many reasons that water could be present either because of snow, liquid spill or flooding. Now there is the Wet Circuit plug that will prevent potential shock or fire hazards.

Wet Circuit plugs not only prevent shock and fire hazards but also from metal objects being inserted. This plug works thanks to a distinctive water resistant design that decreases the flow of current when the power cord comes into contact with water. With this technology it will also continue sending power to devices that might already be plugged in. The Wet Circuit features touch protection that will only provide power when the proper plug is correctly inserted into the outlet. It will also protect from sparks and overheating. The Wet Circuit can protect against water spills, rain, snow, short term flooding and wet hands. This is the perfect plug for people who are worried about water damaging their electronics or starting a house fire.

Televisions have come a long way since they where first invented. Televisions used to be big and bulky; when people brought them home they would stay in that spot for a long time. Over the years, televisions have gotten smaller and lighter. Not that long ago televisions went to flat screens with less casing around the monitor. Now we are seeing 3D televisions coming onto the market.

Mitsubishi is just one of the companies that are introducing a 3D ready television to their list of products made. Their 75 inch model is the Mitsubishi LaserVue L75-A91. Being 3D ready is not the only feature that this television has to offer. The L75-A91 also has StreamTV Internet Media, wired IR input, PerfectColor and PerfectTint. With PerfectColor and PerfectTint the user has more control over how they see the picture. There is also a 6 color processor that takes the primary colors (red, blue and green) and extracts three secondary colors (cyan, yellow and magenta) for greater precision. The LaserVue L75-A91 is a 75 inch model but weighs only 154 pounds. This television will cost you around $6,000.00.

Webcams are a basic computer must have for most computer users. They have become something that most people want so much that many computer makers have starting building them into the laptops they sell. For the most part, webcams have been thought of as something that allows you to see your family and friend when you are chatting to them. Well now, thanks to Dropcam, webcams have been brought up to a higher level with more features.

Dropcam has not only live feed but also a DVR function making it perfect for using as home security system. The DVR function will record all video that is taken and keeps it for reviewing at a later time. To review this video all you have to do is plug Dropcam into a wall outlet. The user can connect to the Internet through an Ethernet or WiFi connection. The Dropcam itself weighs 3 ounces and is about an inch thick. The recording time capacity of the webcam depends on the monthly package you purchase. There is a basic package that is free but with no video storage. The Dropcam comes with motion sensing ability. The Dropcam home security webcam will cost you $199 plus whichever monthly package you choose.

When someone says Dyson, everyone knows about all the types of vacuums that they make. Now they are moving into a new market of home devices. Dyson has moved into making a revolutionary fan. This fan is the Dyson Air Multiplier.

The Air Multiplier offers a highly efficient non-buffeting fan replacement. The unique thing about this fan is that it is bladeless. It works because of a turbine that pulls in air through the base. That air is then ejected at 55 mph through a tiny slit around the edge of the ring. The air pulls more air through because of friction. This results in about 15 times more energy efficiency. The Dyson Air Multiplier has about the same noise level than a regular fan. This fan is safer to use than a regular fan because it doesn’t have blade that can accidentally hit with fingers. The Dyson fan does come with a hefty price tag that depends on which type of Air Multiplier fan you choose. There are five different fans available which are a tower fan, pedestal fan, 12 inch table fan, 10 inch table fan in white and silver and a 10 inch table fan in iron and blue. These range in price from $299.99 to $449.99 and can be found on the Dyson website.

Google has delivered on its promise to produce their very own mobile phone. With the help of HTC the Nexus One was produced using much of the same technology found on many of the Android phones. So what makes the Nexus One better than previous Androids? Well for starters the screen has been greatly improved with the AMOLED display that has greater pixel resolution then previous Androids and is very nice to look at.

The design of the phone is very stylish and comparable in size and shape to the iPhone. When talking on your Nexus One the screen automatically goes dark to avoid anything on the screen from being accidentally hit. A 5-megapixel camera now comes with a LED flash that is not commonly found on Android phones. Voice recognition on the phone has also been improved to include the ability to text, email, and get directions with the power of your voice. The only problem is you will have to talk a bit slower then normal in order for the phone to properly recognize what you are saying. Thanks to the improved processing power of Snapdragon and the larger 1GHz processor the Nexus One runs much quicker and more smoothly then previous Android phones. With this faster hardware everything on the Nexus One runs much better. By placing two microphones on the phone, one on the bottom and one on the back, there is better noise cancellation technology. For example while you are talking on your phone if the background noise increases your phone will automatically readjust the volume to increase so you can still hear your conversation. The same is true if the background noise decreases.

Overall the Nexus One is currently the best Android phone on the market, just don’t get to excited about the technology since nothing really revolutionary has been added to this phone.

To check out the different mobile phones from dialaphone we suggest the you try dialaphone.co.uk .

Tech blogs everywhere were discussing for months all the possible new additions the iPhone would have to offer, and when Steve Jobs officially announced the iPhone4 earlier this month, they were far from disappointed.

Beginning with the new Retina display the iPhone4 now offers more pixels then the human eye can even detect. A new 5-megapixel camera with a LED flash has finally been added to the new iPhone as well. The iPhone4 also can capture 720p HD video that lets you record and actually edit your video right on your iPhone with iMovie. In addition to the new HD capable video camera there are now cameras located on the front and back of the iPhone4. This creates one of the most exciting new uses for the phone called FaceTime where users can make live video calls using both the front and back cameras. This allows for a whole new way of connecting with people and the social implications of this new technology are endless.

To make the iPhone even thinner then before a new type of steel was engineered specially for the iPhone. The steel frame wraps around the entire phone and also acts as the antenna as well! Even the cover was changed to include a glass cover that has been custom made to be 30% stronger then plastic and is located not only on the front of the phone but the back as well! Previous models of the iPhone did not allow for users to switch between multiple apps and program and this was a huge complaint but multitasking is now a reality on the iPhone! The iPhone4 continues to be simplistic and easy to use yet full of the newest and most advanced technology.

As the world pushes for more green ways of accomplishing everyday tasks, new devices are being developed. Since there are thousands, if not millions, of cell phones being used all over the world everyday, that means that there are thousands of people charging their phones everyday. Now there is a greener solution to plugging in your phone charger to the wall. You can now use the power of your feet to charge your phone.

The Orange Power Wellies (which are rubber boots) are what make this possible. The great thing about these boots is that you will always be able to charge your mobile phone, no matter how remote an area you might be in. The Orange Power Wellies work by collecting heat in the soles as you walk and use that to charge your phone later. The reason this works is that when the heat interacts with the cold ground it creates electricity. The collection of heat is known as the Seebeck effect. These boots are a collaboration between Orange and GotWind. With the Orange Power Wellies you will never be left in the middle of nowhere with a dead mobile phone battery.

The bathroom is a place where we can relax and be ourselves. For many people, it is where they sing and let themselves be free and wild. While it can be fun to do this when no one is watching, now there is a device that can make this even more fun. It is the Underwater Light Show.

This funky new bath tub toy/accessory that will make bath time even more fun. This is great for kids who don’t normally want to take a bath or think it is boring. The Underwater Light Show can alter you or adapt into different moods. Since people are in different moods each day, the Underwater Light Show has five different lighting effects. There is also a random color changing light effect that can turn your bathroom into a dance floor. This fascinating bathroom accessory comes along with a flashing single color and constant pattern with all four color effects. This accessory uses LED lights with a waterproof Perspex shell housing allowing it to be placed anywhere in the bathroom, even in the bath tub. It runs on batteries and is simple to turn on and off. Now you can have your own little disco in your bathroom.

Have you ever wondered what type of writing utensils the astronauts use in space? Now you have the answer and can own one for yourself. This is thanks to Spacetec Zero Gravity pen.

With this pen, you can use it just about anywhere you might have to write something down. The Spacetec Zero Gravity pen has been chosen by NASA because of its performance in Zero G environments and was on its first space mission in 1965. This pen will also work in extreme cold, down to minus 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Now only will it work in the extreme cold it will also work in extreme heat (up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit), underwater, over grease and upside down. This pen will write longer, cleaner and more consistently than just about any other pen you will ever own. With leaks and evaporation taken out of the picture, this pen can sit on a desk for centuries and still write like it was new. With the Spacetec Zero Gravity pen you can write just as the astronauts write on the International Space Station.

Everyone has woke up late and wished they where able to have a cup of tea or coffee before they have to rush out to wherever they are going. Well now, thanks to Swan, you can wake up to your alarm and have a hot cup of tea or coffee waiting for you. The Swan Teasmade is an alarm clock with a tea/coffee maker attached.
This alarm clock is unlike anything I have ever seen before but can be very handy for those people who are usually rushed in the morning. This also allows some people to wait a little later to get up because your tea or coffee will already be ready for you when you wake up. Some of the features of the Swan Teasmade are a capacity for at least two cups, a contemporary design, rapid water boiling, illuminated LCD clock and an integral reading light. The great thing about the Swan Teasmade alarm clock is that minutes before the alarm is set the water will boil and the alarm will go off when the boiling is finished. Making this alarm clock a must have for those who can’t function without a cup of coffee or tea first thing in the morning. The Swan Teasmade can be found on MenKind for around $88 (it is a product of the UK, so keep this in mind when ordering as it will take time to be delievered).

Larger is better; at least that is what we are always told. In the case of the Giant Keyboard this saying is true. This is unlike any keyboard you have ever played before and does not require any playing experience needed to play. With the Giant Keyboard, parties will never be the same. Now, just like in the Tom Hanks movie Big, you have a fun time with something unique.
This keyboard measures out to 180×80 cm when laid completely flat. It is large enough for multiple people to play at the same time. The Giant Keyboard features 24 keys that simply have to be pressed with your feet. If you are brave enough to tackle Chopin Nocturne, there might be some running needed. The Giant Keyboard comes with eight different musical instrument sounds including standard piano, saxophone, vibraphone and violin. There are also 10 automated songs which include Toreador Song, Fur Elise, Red River Valley, In Tow, Yankee Doodle Dandy, The Clap Hands Song and Waltz. With a recording function that allows you to record eight-note sequence and play it back. The Giant Keyboard runs on 4 AA batteries and is a great way to introduce musical instruments to children.
