Hello world, this is me, fading away, turning grey.
Still alil catty, still alil impatient, still alil whingy, still myself.
A whole lot more boring, still me nonetheless. :)

My life still revolves around work, missing my loved ones,
and yearning for my old carefree lifestyle.
I miss all my girls, especially my pig whose in neverneverland.
All the way in uk, where I can never afford to visit. :(
Someday, I will walk out of my boring routine,
and have the courage to live as a struggling wanderer.
In actual fact, work isn't as bad as I've portrayed it.
It's challenging, keeps my brain active, my pocket full, and I sincerely do have fun.
I guess a part of me will always refuse to let go of my youthful days,
which holds a big part of me forever.

It's amazing how different life is once you grow up.
Big and tall people now seem so much smaller and fragile.
Adulthood is just so different from what you've pictured it to be.
My fear of losing my loved ones seem to grow rapidly and significantly.
You never satisfy everyone you love anymore.

I think, I'm actually afraid to grow up, afraid to lose my loved ones.
Maybe I'm just feeling emotional.
I know I'm always this way when I write.
But writing is my only outlet as I don't express my feelings verbally no more.

Tomorrow will be a better day,
and I will be my goofy and happy self again.
Till then, let me drown my sorrows and engulf myself in an emotional state for now.

It's so refreshing diving into the water, splashing around, feeling calm and unnerved again. Been feeling the pressure and frustration taking its toll on me. I feel so restrained and limited, sigh, the choices you are forced to make in life. How do you know which path to walk on or what is right or wrong. Why are there no guidelines or life manuals provided? Sometimes I feel like a blindfolded woman forced to take on a path. As I struggle my way towards the end, I get pricked and prodded on, I trip and I fall, yet I still continue to walk even though I dont know how ardous or long my journey will be. What is it that keeps me going?

Been having bbq for two weekends in a row now, look how cute and tiny the bbq set is!

Bigbadwolf's all time favourite, prawns, prawns and more prawns.

Everything tastes so good when you cook on this instead of the pan!

So what have I been up to? Work, catching up with friends during the weekends,

lazing and doing household chores. T_T Yes, my life has been so mundane.

Went to a friend's marriage registration a few weeks ago,

and also had to say goodbye to a girlfriend whose gone back to hong kong for good.

T_T why is everyone leaving!

All the best baby, looks like we'll need to start recruiting again, noo come back :(

Ashley is also going away during christmas hols, oh how I hate you baby! I'm going to be stuck in brissie trying to make the best of what's left here for me. So far, I've only got noosa and fraser island planned out, what's everyone else doing for christmas and new years?

Lesson 1
A man is getting into the shower just as his wife is finishing up her shower, when the doorbell rings. The wife quickly wraps herself in a towel and runs downstairs. When she opens the door, there stands Bob, the next-door neighbour. Before she says a word, Bob says, 'I'll give you $800 to drop that towel.'

After thinking for a moment, the woman drops her towel and stands naked in front of Bob, after a few seconds, Bob hands her $800 and leaves. The woman wraps back up in the towel and goes back upstairs. When she gets to the bathroom, her husband asks, 'Who was that?'

'It was Bob the next door neighbour,' she replies.

'Great,' the husband says, 'did he say anything about the $800 he owes me?'

Moral of the story:
If you share critical information pertaining to credit and risk with your shareholders in time, you may be in a position to prevent avoidable exposure.

Lesson 2
A priest offered a Nun a lift. She got in and crossed her legs, forcing her gown to reveal a leg. The priest nearly had an accident. After controlling the car, he stealthily slid his hand up her leg. The nun said, 'Father, remember Psalm 129?'

The priest removed his hand. But, changing gears, he let his hand slide up her leg again. The nun once again said, 'Father, remember Psalm 129?'

The priest apologized 'Sorry sister but the flesh is weak.'

Arriving at the convent, the nun sighed heavily and went on her way. On his arrival at the church, the priest rushed to look up Psalm 129. It said, 'Go forth and seek, further up, you will find glory.'

Moral of the story:
If you are not well informed in your job, you might miss a great opportunity.

Lesson 3
A sales rep, an administration clerk, and the manager are walking to lunch when they find an antique oil lamp. They rub it and a Genie comes out.
The Genie says, 'I'll give each of you just one wish.'

'Me first! Me first!' says the admin clerk. 'I want to be in the Bahamas, driving a speedboat, without a care in the world.' Puff! She's gone.

'Me next! Me next!' says the sales rep. 'I want to be in Hawaii , relaxing on the beach with my personal masseuse, an endless supply of Pina Coladas and the love of my life.' Puff! He's gone.

'OK, you're up,' the Genie says to the manager.

The manager says, 'I want those two back in the office after lunch.'

Moral of the story:
Always let your boss have the first say.

Lesson 4
An eagle was sitting on a tree resting, doing nothing. A small rabbit saw the eagle and asked him, 'Can I also sit like you and do nothing?' The eagle answered: 'Sure, why not.'

So, the rabbit sat on the ground below the eagle and rested. All of a sudden, a fox appeared, jumped on the rabbit and ate it.

Moral of the story:
To be sitting and doing nothing, you must be sitting very, very high up.

Lesson 5
A turkey was chatting with a bull. 'I would love to be able to get to the top of that tree' sighed the turkey, 'but I haven't got the energy.'

'Well, why don't you nibble on some of my droppings?' replied the bull. They're packed with nutrients.'

The turkey pecked at a lump of dung, and found it actually gave him enough str ength to reach the lowest branch of the tree. The next day, after eating some more dung, he reached the second branch. Finally after a fourth night, the turkey was proudly perched at the top of the tree.

He was promptly spotted by a farmer, who shot him out of the tree.

Moral of the story:
Bull Shit might get you to the top, but it won't keep you there..

Lesson 6
A little bird was flying south for the winter. It was so cold the bird froze and fell to the ground into a large field. While he was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on him. As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, he began to realize how warm he was.

The dung was actually thawing him out!

He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy. A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate. Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung, and promptly dug him out and ate him.

Morals of the story:
1. Not everyone who shits on you is your enemy.
2. Not everyone who gets you out of shit is your friend.
3. And when you're in deep shit, it's best to keep your mouth shut!

whoooopsie, haven't been blogging in ages, anyone missed me?
i just don't seem to have the time and effort anymore.
my folks are here to visit, and my dearest papi has already come and gone.
i'm left here with my mummy and sis for one more week,
before everyone leaves lil ol shaz alone again.
sobs, goodbyes are what i dread most when people come to visit, im so bad with goodbyes.
was planning for a big vacation for end of the year but decided to cancel it now.
everything's so overpriced and my xmas hols aren't long enough.
i want to go to china, taiwan, bali, korea, japan, macao, malaysia or thailand again!
our economy has been a bitch, nothing is as easy no more.
if only work wasn't as stressful.
how i miss my carefree student life,
why oh why did i grow up so quickly?
i need someone to colour my life, why is my life so dull and mundane?
always rushing here and there, getting stuck in traffic, working against time,
i long for the life i had, those happy times travelling,
sleeping in, relaxing and doing things on impulse.

oh how i miss walking on sunshine.

My 22nd Birthday

Pictures speak a thousand words so I'll just let the photos do majority of the talking.

I tried my best to arrive as late as I could so I wouldn't have to get so drunk.

In the end I still had to have one glass of beer each with most of the people in the room.

This is the first time sweetie mama came back to the scene as well haha, much appreciated babe!

I tried to take as many photos as I could so I don't have to drink so much as well haha!

Drinking, singing, playing, and photos = bliss.

When the clock struck 12, thank you everyone for the cakes, loved it heaps, yummy yummy.

I forgot to make a wish because I was so excited and nervous. Excited because it was my birthday, nervous because I had to face the jug soon.. ;P

Bigbadwolf had to finish cutting the cake for me because his birthday's next, some chinese tradition.

Oh man, and the annual routine begins. Mummy close your eyes hehe!

Obviouly I wouldn't be able to finish that! It's too big!! All the girls helped out hehe love you all! :P

The jug was passed back to me again and I had to finish what I could... until it all came out ew..

Bigbadwolf cleaned out the jug afterwards for me hehe.

Bigbadwolf had to give me a birthday kiss due to peer pressure haha. :P

Thanks patrick for taking most of the photos, you the man valentino jose (he keeps insisting that this is his new name -_- ).

I ended up drinking and drinking again, and eating lotsa chicken wings as well haha. That's all folks, the others are too embarrassing to be put up over here. You can see the rest on my msn space.. cheerios :)

Got this in my mailbox from bigbadwolf, there is not one dirty word in it and it is hilarious!

The Smiths were unable to conceive children and decided to use a surrogate father to start their family. On the day the proxy father was to arrive, Mr. Smith kissed his wife goodbye and said, 'Well, I'm off now. The man should be here soon.'

Half an hour later, just by chance, a door-to-door baby photographer happened to ring the doorbell, hoping to make a sale. 'Good morning, Ma'am', he said, 'I've come to...'

'Oh, no need to explain,' Mrs. Smith cut in, embarrassed, 'I've been expecting you.'

'Have you really?' said the photographer. 'Well, that's good. Did you know babies are my specialty?'

'Well that's what my husband and I had hoped. Please come in and have a seat'.

After a moment she asked, blushing, 'Well, where do we
start?'

'Leave everything to me. I usually try two in the bathtub, one on the couch, and perhaps a couple on the bed. And sometimes the living room floor is fun. You can really spread out there.'

'Bathtub, living room floor? No wonder it didn't work out for Harry and me!'

'Well, Ma'am, none of us can guarantee a good one every time. But if we try several different positions and I shoot from six or seven angles, I'm sure you'll be pleased
with the results.'

'My, that's a lot!', gasped Mrs. Smith.

'Ma'am, in my line of work a man has to take his time. I'd love to be In and out in five minutes, but I'm sure you'd be disappointed with that.'

'Don't I know it,' said Mrs. Smith quietly.

The photographer opened his briefcase and pulled
out a portfolio of his baby pictures. 'This was done on the top of a bus,' he said.

'Oh, my God!' Mrs. Smith exclaimed, grasping at her throat.

'And these twins turned out exceptionally well - when you consider their mother was so difficult to work with.'

'She was difficult?' asked Mrs. Smith.

'Yes, I'm afraid so. I finally had to take her to the park to get the job done right. People were crowding around four and five deep to get a good look'

'Four and five deep?' said Mrs. Smith, her eyes wide with amazement.

'Yes', the photographer replied. 'And for more than three hours, too. The mother was constantly squealing and yelling - I could hardly concentrate, and when darkness approached I had to rush my shots. Finally, when the squirrels began nibbling on my equipment, I just had to pack it all in.'

Mrs. Smith leaned forward. 'Do you mean they actually chewed on your, uh...equipment?'

'It's true, Ma'am, yes.. Well, if you're ready, I'll set-up my tripod and we can get to work right away.'
'Tripod?'

'Oh yes, Ma'am. I need to use a tripod to rest my Canon on. It's much too big to be held in the hand very long.'

I woke up this morning to bouts of rashes on the right of my neck.
Wtf, why is this happening again!!!
The last time this happened was when I was playing mahjong at Kanny's.
Why is my skin so sensitive? It's exactly like my mom's sigh.
The doctor said it's due to the dry weather.
He told me to refrain from wearing clothes made of wool.
Well I did,so what's going on?!
Is anyone like this as well... or am I just too special?
It looks like a patch of tiny mozzie bites it's horrific.
I wish I could just buy a new pair of skin from a shop and replace it.
They'd be hung on hangers for your viewing convenience.
If only... maybe in the future. T_T

Waiting for bigbadwolf to come back home from work.
Why does he have to work till 8pm every thursday?
I'm drinking apple and passion fruit juice,
surfing through fonts to find something sexy for a project.

Hooray, it's finally friday tomorrow, weekend here I come again!

These Pumps Weren't Meant for Walkin'

As you can see, I'm heeding your advise and blogging again haha. See I haven't blogged in so long because I've been so lazy to edit photos of my trip to Malaysia and Thailand that it puts me off blogging. And when I'm not lazy, I'm too busy doing household chores. Damnit, what have I become?

Went to the gaming and hospitality expo today at the coast and came back with a pair of sore feet no thanks to my oh so cute pumps. T_T I need a foot massage! How I wish I was back in Thailand where an hour of foot massage only cost us less than ten bucks.

Oh well, at least I know now when I'm tired, I don't eat as much during dinner. Either that or because I had hungry jacks and ice cream cake for lunch. Yes I know I slipped and not proud of it! The ice cream cake was because it was one of our colleague's birthday. Sobs, I think I need to be more disciplined like sweetiie hey? Everytime I have something evil for lunch she'd tsk tsk me and give me the crappolas, biatch! I can never have weetbix for lunch man. :P Pure torture!!! Respcet yo, ali g style hahaha.

I stared at the quote, nostalgia taking over me again.

I have never really tried to search for my own happiness.
I've only been slaving my week days away to make some moolah to live and be happy.
That doesn't make me materialistic. I'm only being realistic.
I see life the way it is.
Truth to be told, I've always been this way since young.
It may bother you, but that is why we are so different.
You were always prepared for the worst while I always hoped for the best.
Either way, we both weren't wrong.
It made sense both ways.
I try to make the most of what I have and live my life the way it is.
I get upset about things at times but most importantly, I do get over it.

As the saying goes...
If you look at what you do not have in life, you don't have anything.
If you look at what you have in life, you have everything.

So be positive, and try to be happy. :)

I hope that one fine day... you can be genuinely happy again.
And when that day comes, I'll look forward to seeing you again with open arms.

We were actually suppose to fly on sunday night instead of saturday morning. Airasia sent us an email informing us that our flight was going to be delayed by 3 hours. So we wrote an email to request to fly the day before and they arranged for that to happen straight away, no extra charges incurred. Two thumbs up to that!

One thing about flying is that I can't sit up and sleep with my back straight like all other passengers. It's like as if my head is a bowling ball and I need to rest it on something to hold its weight. I always tell people it's because my head is so full of knowledge and ideas i.e. brains, that is why I need to rest my head to sleep, tee hee.

I love travelling with bigbadwolf and I need to have him next to me because I get to...

have my very own human pillow wahaha! How cool is that. I feel like a little kid though, because the cousins I travel with like ruby and yenyen can sleep upright whereas I can't. Yenyen ended up being my feet warmer as I so conveniently tucked my feet in neatly between hers hahaha. I never sleep on the plane if I travel alone, unless I get really tired and I accidentally fall asleep for an hour or something.

Oh and meet my other two travel mates,

ruby and yenyen hahaha. Contrary to how the pictures all turned out, they are actually very bubbly and fun to travel with. We were communicating on our nintendo ds lite drawing pictures and writing to tell ruby to flirt with the girl sitting next to her because she kept watching us through out the whole time. I think she must think that we ruby is very interesting.

Anyways, I ended up having instant noodles on the way back to malaysia because bigbadwolf caught a glimpse of the instant cup noodle on the cart before and got really excited because he said that he saw tom yum instant noodles. So I ordered them. Well I ended up with ayam (chicken) noodles. He thought that ayam was asam, and that asam meant tom yum. -_-" Why is my boyfriend so stupid? They were worse than the ones I've had from the canteen during high school, yeuck.

It didn't really matter though, because when we touched down, daddy took us to the famous chow mein and seafood restaurant straightaway, it was was heaven on earth.

Hey hey hey, guess who is back in town? I know I haven't updated in a long long time. Most of the time I'm tied up with work and being lethargic, otherwise I'm just busy living life and being a wee bit too lazy to blog. I also just got back not too long ago from my trip to Malaysia and Thailand. It was awesome foursome!

T'was a very short trip though, spent most of it visiting relos and gambling during chinese new year, thailand in between, and then back to kl to eat and shop, eat and shop, eat and shop somemore. It was great seeing the family again, I miss them so much! And to my bootiful and sexay friends, sorry for not meeting up, I didn't have time to at all. ;( Nevermind, we have Airasia now ~~although it sucks to the max~~, air tickets will be so much cheaper! Looks like I'll be finding it very hard to decide between visiting the family or going elsewhere to travel whenever I have enough annual leaves to spare hey. I've used up all my annuals to a negative, so I gots ta be a good girl and stay in brissie for now.

I gained 2.8kgs to be exact during my vacation, not that you need to know. Just letting you know so you don't have to tell me when you see me. I do know, you know? ;P Just tell me I'm hot instead bwahaha.

Anyways, I got to get back to work, will blog again soon. Happy new year all! :)

Tangalooma Take 2 - Sea

After our long and sweaty journey back from the desert, we got back to the resort to rest for a while. Being a troublesome pig, I couldn't take a nap as I'd sleep for hours if I closed my eyes, so I started unpacking our little luggage to get ready to hit the pool.

Bigbadwolf finally woke up and we all headed off to the pool to take a dip. It was so cool and refreshing as I had sand everywhere on me before from sand toboganning.

The view was amazing. We spent the evening watching the sunset, and left after to get ready for the dolphin feeding session.

The dolphins were wild bottle nose dolphins, therefore we weren't allowed to pet them as they may not be immuned to whatever bacteria we may carry. I was really excited at the beginning before we got to Tangalooma as most of you would've known with my constant ramblings of hoping to touch and swim with the dolphins.

But when it was finally time to feed the dolphins, the dolphin that I queued to feed the fishie accidentally bit on my nail. Of course I didn't bleed or anything! It was just their beak-like snout that snapped on my thumb that made me so terrified! Look at the photo haha, I was watching the dolphins every second to make sure they didn't get to me! :S

How (un)fortunate of us, the person supervising us with the dolphin feeding thought he'd be nice and let us feed the dolphin a few more times. I was so horrified I just dropped the fish into the water each time which made it worse because the dolphin started getting closer haha, stupid me! Here's a proper picture of us smiling. I'm not sure what my colleague was doing though hehe. We headed back to our rooms again for a quick shower and change for our company dinner after.

My choice for the night was the butterfly chicken fillet with mushroom sauce. It was superbly delicious. Bigbadwolf stuck to his usual t-bone steak medium rare. The girls had some red and white wine while some of the boys kept to their cold beers. We retired early that night to get ready for the next day. To be honest, I would classify the resort as a 2-3 star motel with an awesome view. The bed was damp and the room was furnished with very old furnitures. It didn't really bother us though since we spent so little time in the room.

The island on the otherhand is extremely beautiful, a picturesque sight. The next morning, I overslept and woke up only when sweetiie rang me. I dashed out of my room for the buffet breakfast in 5 minutes still in my jammies hehe, but with a long jacket to cover myself la. The buffet was pretty impressive as I wasn't really expecting anything that great. We had everything - from bacon and sausages to pancakes, hash browns, and etc. What a hearty breakfast.

The weather was really gloomy in the morning, so alot of our colleagues decided to take the early ferry back home. The rest of us decided to stay longer thanks to our manager's determination, and I'm so glad we did in the end. The weather took a turn for the better and we managed to take the dinghy out for a swim at the shipwrecks.

We walked around taking photos, cam-whoring everywhere before it was our turn to take the dinghy out. We had to rent two dinghys since we were only permitted four people per dinghy babies included.

The mommies stayed in the boat to mommy their hubba bubbas while we dived in to explore. It has been such a long time since I've been out in the sea! We decided to go back ashore since the others wanted to rest by the beach to waddle around where it was shallow.

Looks can be deceiving, but I swam all the way from the sea side to the ship wreck and boi was it really far away. I was absolutely exhausted hahaha. I wish I had better stamina, thank god I had the life jacket on the whole time. I would've sunk in the last five minutes heading towards the ship wreck. ;p

Our dinghys finally arrived and we got our photos taken haha! We didn't get onto the ship wreck since we didn't have any flippers or flip flops to wear. After about an hour, we got back onto the dinghy reluctantly to had back to the shore. Our time was finally up, and so was it the end of our short vacation.

I had a very good time and really enjoyed our little short trip. It was a great bonding time for all. Bye bye Tangalooma, hopefully I'll come back again some day. :)

Tangalooma Take 1 - Sand

On the 7th of December 2007 was when our company organized a christmas trip Tangalooma Wild Dolphn Resort in Moreton Bay. We met at 9.30am at Holt Street Wharf to catch the 10am ferry to our short sunny vacation. It started off with a nice breezy day followed by a burning hot sunny day after.

Our baggages were all mixed up when we checked in. After hunting down for our luggages and changing into our bikiis and triangles (tee hee) ;P, we were finally ready to kick some ass! We started off with buffet for lunch and then headed off to the bumpy bus ride to the desert while the others decided to stay behind to relax at the beach.

Boy were we glad we didn't eat too much. Would've had a major puking session with that bumpy ride, haha. Sally sweets, Ted and their bubs came for the company trip as well. It was really fun playing with her cute bubba, baby Brayden looks exactly like his momma!

I on the otherhand was masking my nervousness grinning like goofy. It was a pretty steep slope and I was totally sandwiched towards the end. Have you ever tasted sand in your mouth? All I can say is, thank god sand is tasteless haha. It wasn't as fun as the time I went sandboarding at Port Stephens with my bro. When we were at Port Stephens, the slope wasn't as steep so we could sand board as many times as we wanted to, and do it however way we wanted to!

The sand slopes or watchamacallit were really steep, I think only only one of us managed to make it up twice. Here are the boys chilling with their drinks after one go. :p
