Bliss, the provocative Canadian anthology and Showcase Original Series, explored the desires, passions and fantasies of women. The first of three seasons, aired in 2002, offered eight different tales of erotica, written and directed by women, for women. Victoria Sanchez of MTV’s Undressed fame played in the last episode, “The Footpath of Pink Roses”, as a mild, reserved young miss whose animalistic urges are unleashed by a martial-arts class. Scorned a.k.a. A Woman Scorned, released in 1994, is a sexy, twisted, erotic thriller starring Shannon Tweed, Playmate of the Year, 1982. Scorned is the tale of an ambitious man’s wife who was forced to have sex with the husband’s boss for promotion. But the man was cheated and replaced by someone else which drives him to commit suicide. The wife, played by Shannon Tweed, then seeks revenge and through a lot of seduces the ones she think is responsible for her husband’s death, just to turn them against each other. All The Right Moves, released in 1983, is one of the best movies about high school football. Tom Cruise, in his pre-celebrity days performed wonderfully in the movie. The Edge of Love, released last year 2008, is a complicated love story of the legendary poet Dylan Thomas told through the lives of two extraordinary, feisty, free-spirited women - one his wife and the other, his childhood love, Vera Phillips. Keira Knightley plays Vera Phillips in the movie and does a lovely job. The story is kind of complicated with heart-over-mind-over-heart matters of love and friendship. Do watch this one, it’s a sheer beauty.

Before anything else, I must say this one is a great watch. Before The Devil Knows You’re Dead released in 2007 and is a crime thriller with quite a lot of twists. It’s about two brothers in dire need of money who decide to pull off a safe robbery at their parent’s shop. The robbery goes wrong and they end up killing their own mother. The sexy Marisa Tomei plays Gina, the elder brother’s wife who is also having an illegitimate affair with the younger brother every Thursday afternoon. She looks great in the movie and bares a number of times which makes the movie even more entertaining.
