Charles Kirkland has launched SEO Codebreaker. I've been long following Charles from a long-time and I whole-heartedly endorse his products because they've genuinely helped me make more traffic and hence money.

Internet Marketing has covered a lot of ground lately mostly because of its low-barrier nature. Everyone and their dog is marketing online but not making a single cent. "Why so?", you'd ask.

They're doing everything they know. And they know not a right thing.
People like "secrets" and this is the reason that the so-called Gurus are banking on it day-in and day-out. They don't just remember a simple rule that is common to all successful people - follow the successful, replicate their work.

I wouldn't be making any money online if I just bought whatever garbage these people offered. I rather followed a selected few who I knew were really successful and don't fake their Clickbank and other statistics. One of them is Charles Kirkland.

Charles is a really, really helpful guy. He is a modest person that gives timely tips on making money and he doesn't say anything without a foundation - he speaks about what has worked for him and proven to work.

I've peeked inside his AdWords account and the kind of data he has there is terribly awesome. Just by looking at his account I can say that what most people say regarding AdWords like Google slaps squeeze pages, AdWords is dead for the little guy, you cant make money unless you've got a few thousand dollars and some more are all shattered into pieces.

Any marketer would kill for that kind of conversions for the kind of cost he's paying to get subscribers on his list. He is getting on an average about 400 subscribers a DAY at about 25 cents a pop! That amounts to about 12K subscribers a month. And if you are conservative about the kind of money that you can make with that kind of list it equals to about $12K - and remember we're being conservative. He has many of such lists and I can just imagine the kind of money he'd be making everyday!

This is the kind of success you should replicate. And Charles has proved that it will work for anyone, yes ANYONE. Even if you've got no experience!

So why wait when you can have -

SEO principles used by very few that actually get you on your way to the top of Google, Yahoo! and MSN

Never before released techniques used by Charles Kirkland himself!

A 30-minute FREE consultation with Charles - this ALONE is worth the price because a tip from him on how to promote a product can land you thousands in profits, Q-U-I-C-K-L-Y!

The course is limited and will be taken down soon enough - it's already 2 weeks since it launched, what did you expect?

I can't disclose what I learn from there because it is STRICTLY non-disclosing in nature. If you want to know what you're missing out click the link below.

Go to SEO Codebreaker NOW!

If you are a seasoned afiliate marketer or even if you aren't seasoned but just starting out then you've got lots of blogs in your RSS reader. You subscribe to countless blogs for that one secret tactic that promises millions of dollars for one single AdWords campaign.

Many <strike>boast</strike> inspire you by flashing checks from affiliate networks but none show you a definitive guide to earning money from affiliate marketing. Principles that always work in real-world and in affiliate marketing are rarely if ever focused mostly because most of the wannabe affiliate marketers don't want to work and they don't like reading blogs that deal with reality. And one such blog that closely deals with reality is CashTactics. If you're planning to choose affiliate marketing as your full-time source of income then you've got to read every post on this blog and also all the posts in the CashTactics forums.

I was first referred to the FREE Reports page on CashTactics through a friend of mine and since then I've been closely following the blog through RSS and also through the email subscription to CashTactics.

There are a lot of posts that give detailed overview of affiliate marketing and how YOU can make money through it. Ralph Ruckman (Ruck) started the blog so that those who are new to affiliate marketing could learn from his success. Whenever I talk to someone new to affiliate marketing I give his example because Ruck was "Internet retarded" when he started with affiliate marketing because his first mail account was set up by his wife. He was depressed and rose from tough times to becoming one of the Super Affiliates and then moving on to creating his own affiliate network.

Now that Ruck has left blogging to Kris, his friend as he is now involved with his own affiliate network. Ruck started out by writing articles and he outlines it in his reports so that you can get started with little to no cash. And the best thing about these reports are that they're FREE to download! Many people charge $97++ on the Warriorforum for the same type of information.

So getting to the point fast, Kris of CashTactics is conducting a contest once again and I am in once again for winning it! I lost a Flip Video camera in the last contest due to a small typo mistake I did while writing my username and I regret it to this date.

In another previous contest that he held on his birthday I won 10 bucks for just commenting and now you can win some cash so that you can start out and invest the money you win back into affiliate marketing.
You can win some cool prizes and cash for just being a part of the CashTactics community forums, commenting on the blog and also sending traffic their way! One of the great thing about this contest is that there aren't many participants to date so your chances of winning the prizes increase sharply because the contest ends on the last day of November.

One thing I finally urge to you is that you subscribe to the blog and be a part of the helpful Cashtactics community led by Kris, not just for winning the contest but also for learning the basics and advanced strategies of affiliate marketing. CashTactics is the only blog that gets the credit for getting my first PPC campaign into green. I ran a campaign and it generated almost 800% ROI but thats the topic for another post.

Some of the notable and my personal favorite posts from CashTactics are :

CPA Marketing series by Ruck - Great read if you always wanted to know what is CPA, how CPA works and how can YOU promote CPA!

Today, Google launched Google Chrome a spanking new, open-source web browser in over 100 countries. This comes when Microsoft has been beta testing its new Internet Explorer 8.

One of the features that Google has introduced is an auto-suggest typ of a feature just like Firefox 3 but with an important twist in which it lets you are suggested websites from the web.

The Google Chrome is a small file and is lightning fast and that is why it was created. One of the disadvantages I see is that now Google will have more data on

What websites we visit

When do we visit those websites

How much time do we spend on those websites

What are our website using patterns

It'll have a better user heatmap information

So even if it has some cool new features, I'll be beware of it. Atleast until I am addicted to it like all of Google's services.

Get 10 dollars from Pepperjam just for signing up

If you ask me what my favorite affiliate network is I am not going to tell you CJ just because it has a lot of offers and everyone and his dog has signed up at them. In fact I don't promote any offer through CJ! Why? Because their tracking sucks big time. Most of the time I spend within the CJ interface is trying to guess what is the function of the buttons and links. If you're planning to make it in the affiliate marketing game then your most powerful weapon is TRACKING.

You can precisely calculate how much you'll be paying per click and in return what you'll be earning per click. I generated my first ever $100 with Pepperjam (screenshot below - although I've smudged it so that no one copies my offer) and it was my first ever try with PPC to Affiliate marketing. I've had managed some PPC accounts before but never did PPC to Affiliate marketing.

Today, let me tell you about an interesting feature within the Pepperjam Network console that is so unique and valuable that if you have your ears close to the ground you'll literally be banking every time with minimal effort!

The whole Pepperjam Network interface is custom built and is much easier to navigate than your usual DirectTrack software enabled networks. I'll discuss the PJN interface in detail sometime later. As soon as you log in you get the following screen :

Can you see the Offer Alert tab? Yeah! That's not some Social Networking thing but close to that. You are actively contacted by the advertiser and if you're interested you can promote the offer by accepting or if you aren't interested then just click the Decline link. I suggest you Accept every offer - even if you don't promote them. And here is why - a few days ago an advertiser sent me an invitation to join his program for promoting. I was in a different niche and so I declined the offer. Now this offer took off and countless affiliates started promoting the offer. I thought I should get in too and contacted the advertiser and he told me that they were already having so many affiliates actively promoting their product and they weren't ready for it yet (in terms of dedicated resources towards affiliates) and so obviously I was declined. Whose loss? Mine.

I also sent an email to Kris Jones, President and CEO of Pepperjam and one of my favorite speakers on affiliate marketing about this feature and he already has announced it on Pepperjam's blog.

So don't delay and Join Pepperjam through this link (and get $10 just for signing up). You'll get $10 after being approved and I'll also personally help you make your first affiliate check!

A huge contest at John Cow

I don't know what happened to the Make Money Online blogs but right now its a trend that most of the popular blogs tend to have huge contests and are giving away prizes that are worth their salt!

JohnCow, a parody blog on John Chow's blog is having a contest starting from Aug 11th to Aug 24th.

And this time the prizes are amazing including an Xbox 360 for the 1st prize and cool money making tools from StoreStacker. Go check it out at John Cow's place!

New Blogger Dashboard = Easier Blogging = More Posts!

I've always dreaded the Blogger dashboard - although good for newbies I've found it immensely dull and repelling. One of the reasons I would procrastinate writing posts is because editing posts was one of the most irritating thing with Blogger.

Today while browsing through the Blogger dashboard I found the Blogger Draft link for new dashboard. I generally don't click the links that Blogger provides within the dashboard but this time I somehow did and I am happy 'bout it!

What I find is -

A Sleek interface and dashboard - with just 3 recent blogs that've been updated. It is a relief to not see so many of my useless blogs all over!

A better and AJAXified editor - it's like a zephyr! If you've been using Google Docs then you'll be familiar with it.

A better, soothing blue Blogger logo - I've been offended with the shiny, bright orange (don't know why!)

If you've noticed the difference?

My Experience with Microsoft adCenter

I've been mainly driving pay per click traffic from Google AdWords and sometimes through Yahoo! Search Marketing - and that too when I feel that I've covered all of the traffic that Google provides. I've been keeping a close watch on Microsoft adCenter ever since it was in Beta - but because I read that the system was too incompetent and that keywords automatically got disapproved within adCenter, I was a little reluctant on trying out adCenter - until now!

I finally signed up with adCenter. The signup process is pretty straight forward and I had no problem getting signed up.

The User Interface

While some PPC advertisers may have complained about the weak UI that adCenter provides - its acceptable that it has not yet matured enough as is AdWords.
And to be true, it is not that difficult for search marketers, who I assume are technically savvy enough to figure out on their own.
Although at times it may be confusing to navigate to your keywords or tweak settings for your ad groups.

Reporting

I've had issues with reporting in adCenter. The main console doesn't update reporting and I contacted my adCenter representative regarding this issue. I've been told that it is working perfectly and that it might be a glitch. I think it is because I've tried it with Internet Explorer and also Firefox and I've cleared all the cookies and cache.

As you can see above in the 2 images, one shows a total impressions for the campaign to be greater than 1152 and on the other hand that same ad group keywords show little to no impressions for majority of keywords. That's kind of strange and that really pisses me of as I am more of a stats junkie and why not? I am paying for all those clicks and that certainly boils down to certain CPM that I am paying to Microsoft so why can't I see the keywords for which my ads were shown?

Support

One of the things that differentiates men from boys in the PPC game is the amount of documentation the search engine has provided and Microsoft certainly has a lot to do in this regard. If they hope to take on Google in the PPC game they've got to improve on their documention.

You can also watch the flash tutorials but watching an 8 minute flash movie for understanding a tiny feature is too much of a time committment for me.

They've got great support mechanism through email too! And guess what? They personally address your issues and I think it's just lately that you can also contact them through phone too! Its great because I don't see that anywhere on AdWords! Overall, their support just simply rocks and I just hope they get their adCenter beast to rock just as well.

Traffic Quality

I can't really say too much about their traffic quality right now because as you see I am not getting the right stats. But regarding just the amount of traffic adCenter lags behind. For the keywords that receive about 40K impressions a day on Google, I've just manages to get about 1152 in a week.

Maybe people aren't searching for that term on Live? Certainly possible!

My Overall Impressions of adCenter

So this covers my first impressions on Microsoft adCenter. I haven't done a thorough review but thats because I don't have all the reports and I will get that sorted out and post the updates.

Many bloggers and website owners saw the change. Some saw a boost while many others saw a decline in PageRank.

DewDropSEM's PageRank dropped down from 4 to 0...yes a ZERO!

Matt Cutts announced it on his blog that Google will be updating the toolbar PageRank in the next few days, so better watch out for your pagerank.

For many days now I've been procrastinating over regularly updating the blog with useful (not using the word quality for a simple reason that it is way overused!) posts and I think it's Google's way of reimposing that upon me.

As you can see some of the previous posts have been about various contests over the blogosphere. But now I will concentrate mainly on PPC and Affiliate Marketing!

Did you see any PageRank updates?

Free Zip Code Database for your Campaigns

If you've ever wanted to targeted your clicks locally, here is some good news for you! The Zip Code Guy is giving away the database that is over 27MB consisting of data on Cities, Counties and Zip Codes on EVERY US city since 2003 and its all FREE if you link him.

More from The Zip Code Guy

The database includes the following fields intermixed in all kinds of ways so that you don’t have to worry about manipulating the data. It seems that April is going to be bigger than March for blog contests.

Like the other 2 contests that I mentioned before there are some really cool prizes for the winners. The blogs sponsoring the reviews receive more than 310,000 unique visitors and a LOT more pageviews (besides they are very respected blogs too that I've personally subscribed too from a long time)!

The main theme of the DotMoney "Get Traffic" contest is traffic and traffic is worth a lot of money - if you know what to do with that traffic. So there are blog reviews and a lot of traffic for your sites.

You can win reviews on the following blogs and sites. The sponsors are:

DatMoney.com
Carlocab.com
Garryconn.com
Theuniversitykid.com
Theblogentrepreneur.com
Bloggernoob.com
Blogaboutyourblog.com
Piggybankpie.com
Jonathanvolk.com
Winningtheweb.com
Etienneteo.com
Yimto.com
Adesblog.com
Blogpremiere.com/forum
What to do to WIN the reviews

Link to the contest page and link to the sponsors

Subscribe through email or RSS

Comment on the blog

The Net Fool's Outrageous Blog Contest

There are 3 huge blog contests going on and The Net Fool's contest is the one I am anticipating to win! Jim Hubber and company are in their pre-launch of SkyHighAuctions - a complete course featuring over 20 hours of video tutorials!

Now, a day worth of video (20 hours to be exact!) can make you master on possibly anything and eBay is no exception.

There are also transcripts for every video - so that you can print and read.

The main focus of the course is the interviews and content from PowerSellers who make upwards of $5 million per year selling on eBay.

So today, Jim got to me over e-mail and showed me what the course covered. I am astonished - so much useful content.

So what does the SkyHighAuctions eBay course cover?

The SkyHighAuctions course is divided into three levels of expertise on eBay selling.

Beginners Lessons - This module is for ideal beginners who don't know anything about eBay other than it is a dot com company. The modules takes you from bottom up on what it is like to sell on eBay and how to find niche eBay markets that are profitable. The beginner's lessons also cover ideas on how to make your listing standout from the crowd and also on how to avoid some grave pitfalls that newcomers almost always commit. All in all, the Beginners module was perfect for me as someone who has only bought collectibles from eBay!

Advanced Lessons - Now here comes some real stuff! The 23 Advanced eBay lessons are all what you need to take off your business from scratch. The advanced module shows you how to deal with fraud and disputes (something that a newcomer is sure to get bogged down with!), importing from international markets, setting up an About Me page (I can testify on how powerful this strategy is!). The advanced lessons is the module where you learn about taxes and about creating your own eBay store with some strategies on retaining your customers so they buy again from you. SkyHighAuctions advanced module even shows you on how to get a Powerseller (A power seller is an eBay seller who is invited by eBay to participate in the PowerSellers program after sustaining a gross trading volume above a set cutoff for several months in a row) status in just 8 easy steps.

Expert Lessons - Now comes the main focus of the whole SkyHighauctions eBay course - tips and interviews from real eBay PowerSellers. These PowerSellers show you how to profit from your business, what strategies to adopt and secrets to dropshipping. Even if the SkyHighAuctions people offered this module of the course I'd readily buy it without a second thought because eBay can show you how to sell or how to buy but you won't learn the real eBay business tactics from PowerSellers who've started from scratch and making a killing on eBay. These are the people who show you how to profit from eBay! So, if you're still not sure I'd advise you to jump right in before everyone else does. Go to SkyHighAuctions

Bonus Lessons - The bonus lessons in the course teach you about eBay arbitrage. Arbitrage is finding items at low prices and sell them high. I know of several of my buddies who've made a killing with this technique in as low as a week. So if you want to get started tomorrow these three eBay arbitrage lessons will do the work for you.

I've never come across such a comprehensive eBay selling course until now. If you are planning to start an eBay business I urge you to get the Sky high Auctions course as soon as it launches on the 6th of March (write down the date).

What do you get by ordering it on the launch date?
Sky High Auctions is priced at $267 but because Jimmy (owner of SkyHighAuctions) has offered my readers a $100 discount, you can purchase this amazing course for just $167!

Is there a catch you may ask and yes there is - you've to be early little Johnny! SkyHighAuctions is launching just after a few days and you've to be among the first 500 buyers to get the discount. Not bad huh? A reward of $100 for just being there first - I wish Apple did this during their iPhone launch.

If you buy Sky High Auctions from this link, I'll also set up your AdWords account for FREE! So here is a second post in the Budding Affiliates Blog series.

The blog is run by Eric who is a Computer Engineer and he has started in his quest to make money online only since the last 3 months.

The inspiring thing about this blog is that Eric wants to make $1000 and it doesn't matter what time it takes.

One more thing, Eric is running a free ad campaign to get more blogs talking about it. Good move if you ask me. Once the blog gets popular and more and more people go to his blog...1000 bucks aren't away!

Budding Affiliates Blog #1 - Geiger.com

OK, recently I havn't been blogging because there is so much to be done and so little time to manage everything. So starting from today, I'll be reviewing some of the best blog picks who haven't yet received their fair share of publicity that they rightly deserve.

Geiger

Geiger is run by Jason aka Jay Geiger. Surprisingly, Jay started the blog in March 2006 and he is yet unnoticed in the blogosphere. Almost all posts by him are real-life and what impresses me is his sense of simplicity of explaining everything without jargonizing the PPC talk.

Jay is also a very humble blogger and replies to comments almost always.

If you visit Jay's blog you're going to find a LOT of interesting posts like landing pages get more clicks than direct linked campaigns, split testing ads and his testing of google image ads. I am sure you're going to take a long time reading all of his insightful posts.

His experiences with Kontera is also very eye opening. One of the best series on his blog that I really enjoyed were his selecting an azoogle offer to setting up and tracking and reporting of the whole campaign.

So Geiger.com is the first blog in Budding Affiliates Blog and its worth watching out for!

Are you attending PubCon?

PubCon is taking place this December from 4-7 in Las Vegas. Now, the venue itself will be the first reason you want to attend the conference!

Now Shoe says that he'll pay for anyone who'll entertain him at PubCon . So when Shoe is paying for all the expenses, I thought you should better jump in to get a FREE conference pass.

PubCon is arranged by WebMasterWorld who also run a very successful internet marketing forum.

Who is attending PubCon?

Some of the most notable people attending the conference are

Matt Cutts, Google Representative for Search Quality Control

Shoemoney, million-dollar PPC man

John Battelle, Federated Media Publishing

Danny Sullivan, SearchEngineWatch

On a serious note, partying like a Rockstar is not all about the silly pics that some have posted but also about the right attitude you have to have while attending and networking at conferences. No matter how many blog posts you read, how many rss subscriptions you have in your reader or how many time you spend time on forums...you'll never learn more than you will at such conferences, this I've said before!

Even if you cannot shell out all the money that is attached to the entry passes...once in a while people like Shoemoney will put a contest to identify the NEXT BIG thing in the PPC/Internet Marketing industry.

I hope I win this entry to meet really cool people like Dave - Shoemoney's right hand man, Neil Patel, Shoemoney and many many more who haven't yet achieved the celeb status in this industry but are surely worth more!

See ya at Las Vegas if ever I win the passes.

P.S: The contest prizes are sponsored by Unique Blog Designs and SureHits
P.S.S: Unique Blog Designs really have some of the collest and unique blog designs out there. So true. Networking is an important aspect in almost every activity. Affiliate marketers often discover new ideas to market their products effectively through networking at forums, interaction on blogs and also various conferences and summits they attend.

One of the most awaited affiliate event is the Affiliate Summit. And the next Summit is planned in February at a place like no other Las Vegas!

Super Affiliate who make millions from the affiliate programs attend the conference and speak about topics they know best. Believe it or not, but meeting these people face to face can inspire you to follow on their footprints.

Zac Johnson, a super affiliate, a blogger is giving you a chance to meet him in Vegas for discussing about your business (ok, I guarantee he is that generous!). He is giving away FREE passes for Affiliate Summit 2008. All you have to do is write about this contest as a blog entry and link back to the above link from that post. But...BUT you have to do it before 31st October to win the first of the three free passes.

See you then at the Affiliate Summit!

Why are negative keywords so important

Almost all PPC engines allow you to specify keyword match types like broad, exact, phrase and often forgotten negative keyword matching (or un-matching!). The negative keyword is given there for a reason and I predict that hardly 10% of the PPC population may be actually using it and saving a little fortune.
I have been recently managing a relatively large PPC account for a merchant and I am really shocked to see that there is literally not a single negative keyword in addition to the unorganized campaigns. Now, the offers that this merchant is managing has a lot of tire-kickers who look for free alternative and aren't going to give a damn if it costs anything.
Come on people, negative keywords can save you a hell lot of money if you start using it now. Don't wait another second...go NOW and add some irrelevant negative keywords.

**If you need any help setting up your campaign professionally you can contact me at dewdropsem [at] gmail.com**

How Many AdWords Accounts

How many AdWords accounts should I have is a pretty popular question among those that are new as well as people who have a little experience with AdWords. First of all let me explain why you should have only 1 AdWords account.

When you have a single AdWords account, you retain all the account history and if you are getting consistently good CTRs and good-to-great quality scores then Google will presume a healthy performance for your campaign and it will probably have some (good) effect on your launched campaign.

Believe me...managing multiple AdWords accounts can get really time-consuming. Logging in and out each time to check stats for different accounts will probably crush your productivity.

Google doesn't allow multiple accounts for same keywords and they might even ban you forever if they find it out ..which in this case they probably can and will.

Although, AdWords Editor is an alternate choice you will have to download all the data from all accounts again and again. Little less boring but not really helpful.

Instead, I suggest that you get a My Client Center account where you can manage upto 1000 (yes, a thousand!) accounts from a single login and interface. It is a lot easier to access reports from different accounts.
If you need any help setting up your campaign professionally you can contact me at dewdropsem [at] gmail.com

BlogRush - The new way to get FREE blog traffic

BlogRush, a blog syndication network just launched yesterday. I've already signed up and put the shiny little widget that works well. What it does it this

You sign-up and choose your appropriate blog category

Put the javascript code on your blog

Whenever you get a pageview you get 1 credit which means that your blog will be shown as an impression

The more referrals you have the more impressions you'll get in your chosen category blogs (upto 10 levels!) so although thats not targeted traffic it is at least related to whom you want to target.

The widget is really un-intrusive and has your referral code embedded into it so that you get the credit when someone clicks and signs-up. Seems a nice deal to me specially when the network has just been launched so theres plenty of room to get referrals and thereby traffic.
I advise you to JOIN BlogRush as soon as possible and get a lot of referrals. The new CPC version is named Pro and it is talked about a lot among webmaster forums and news sites as every other thing related to Facebook. I think the CPC version is not all that functional when you see about it. There is no way you can determine who clicked and advanced reporting tools. Now coming to the analytics part most of the marketers wouldn't give it a piece of attention until Facebook gets it done right.
But overall it is better than the more conventional and outdated CPM model where you pay just for being there. The major discrepancy I found is that the maximum daily budget is capped to $50! So, Facebook doesn't want to make more money....WHAT? Maybe they're just testing their infrastructure. And yes, I haven't yet tested it and don't plan to do so anytime soon.
Anyone with feedback, first-hand experience are welcome to comment!

Overture Keyword Tool Dies Off

I don't know if it is official but the long-time SEO friend Overture Keyword Tool has been put to sleep. If you don't beleive me, just go there and search for any of the most competitive keywords you can come across.
I made a search on "insurance" and "weight loss" and it showed No Suggestions for Insurance! R.I.P Overture Tool.
