Neenah Paper unveiled the winners of the 2012 Neenah UnShow, a design competition supported by HOW Magazine that celebrates all forms of expression in uncoated paper.

The contest, open to work printed on any brand of uncoated paper, recognized winners in eight categories, including invitations/cards, annual report/sustainability report, brochures, identity, packaging/label, posters, miscellaneous and student work as well as one "Best of Show" grand-prize winner.

Richard Morrison Collaborates with Tim Burton in Third Movie Titles Sequence

Richard Morrison has created the film titles for Tim Burton's Dark Shadows. It's the third collaboration between Burton and Morrison, following on from the pair's work together on the opening sequences for Batman and Sweeney Todd.

The sequence was produced by th1ng, which exclusively represents Morrison for film titles design, world-wide.

Delegates to the American Institute of Architects (AIA) National Convention in Washington, D.C. elected Helene Combs Dreiling, FAIA, (AIA Blue Ridge), to serve as the 2013 AIA first vice president/president-elect and 2014 AIA president.

ASID Interior Design Billings Index Points to Improvements Across Sectors and Regions

Today, the iconic Golden Gate Bridge is celebrating its 75th anniversary. To help commemorate the 75th of one of the modern Wonders of the World, ad agency Goodby Silverstein & Partners (GSP) has created an arresting print ad campaign in partnership with the Golden Gate National Parks Conservatory, that captures the innumerable angles and features of this symbolic bridge.

Highbridge in_flux by the Parsons Design Workshop 2012

This summer, a group of students from the Design Workshop at the School of Constructed Environments at Parsons The New School for Design are reconstructing and enclosing the lobby at the historic Highbridge Pool and Recreation Center.

Every year, the Design Workshop provides pro bono architectural and construction services to nonprofit organizations all the while giving graduate architecture students the rare opportunity to both design and build a community facility.
