Media Arts & Research Learning Arcade (MARLA) is a grant-funded lab dedicated to creating games for health and education purposes. The room has large window panels. Each window has a separate sign, which, when viewed all together, is a cohesive whole. The signage was created using the design brand of the School.

Since I taught the course “Design Issues in Digital Media” using Adobe Photoshop as the software application I incorporated a challenge into my course assignments. I told the students to design a background that could be used for future announcements…mostly regarding registration. The students created the background design, Student Services personnel chose which design they wanted to use, and I supplied the content as needed. I loved working with the students on this project!
All designs were produced using Adobe Photoshop and formatted for the plasma screen.
