The "fashion world" is always fast and frenetic. We're still on winter, and we basically know the main trends for S/S 2012, and we're currently admiring the F/W 2012 collections of many brands.

This is insane, but that's why we all love fashion, because it's projected into the future.

Ok, after my little digression we can now take a look the Pre-fall 2012 menswear collection of French maison Louis Vuitton. Stylish, modern, contemporary and elegant. These are adjectives that perfectly fit with the mood of the whole collection, made of simple and clean shapes, that includes garments for all kinds of occasions: from working days outfits, to casual looks, to young and pushy leather jackets, to formal and elegant suits for the evening.

A variegated collection that will surely conquer the hearts of the most refined fashion boys of every ages out there.

I love them! Yves Saint Laurent marine wedges

Ladies, it's time to take a look at some marvelous shoes, designed by French maison Yves Saint Laurent. I know, I'm pretty "obsessed" with the shoes of this brand, but it's impossible not falling in love with them, because they're so beautiful, sexy and stylish.

Usually I'm more attracted by high-heeled shoes, but this time I want to show you three beautiful wedges that come directly from the Cruise 2012 collection of the French maison. The collection was inspired by nautical patterns and shapes, and in these beautiful wedges we can find them all. The colors are black, red and navy blue, but what captured my attention was the beautiful range of prints: anchors mixed with the YSL logo and starfish. The materials used to create these beautiful wedges are various: soft suede, strong canvas and glossy patent-leather.

I really love the particular shape of the sole of the first two models, that reminds the one of a wave, while the black and red ones recall to my mind the shoes worn by the ethereal and timeless Japanese geishas.

He's a stylish and elegant man the one designed by Tommy Hilfiger for his F/W 2012 menswear collection. A man who loves to wear elegant and refined pieces, reworked with a hint of rebellious attitude, thanks to leather details, and unexpected metallic zippers.

The silhouette displayed on this collection is slim and clean, with precious fur details, military inspired coats and slim trousers, designed in different fabrics and leather.

It was a beautiful collection, maybe a little dark, but at the end of the day it was a great proof of refined style, especially for a younger audience.

Altuzarra F/W 2012 womenswear

Oh boy, what a beautiful collection was the one designed by Joseph Altuzarra for the next winter!

A collection that has been inspired by different cultures, like Russian, Mongolian and Arabic, that create a selection of garments that are modern, feminine and sexy (those black leather cuissards are TDF) at the same time.

Beautiful shapes, sometimes fluid, and other times structured, a great balance between warm fur and fabrics and feminine and graceful silks. Black is important in this collection, but has been mixed with colorful ethno-inspired prints, metallic charms, fringes and other rich details.

Absolutely fabulous!

Darlings, let me tell you that when it's time to talk about male models you become so demanding, and this is surely one of the reasons that make me love you so much!

This time I want to show you some new images of hot, even if he's Russian (I know, sometimes I'm so funny!), male model Arthur Kulkov.

The handsome male model has been featured inside the S/S 2012 menswear lookbook of American fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger, and boy, let me tell you that he looks gorgeous, and I'm sure that you'll agree with me.

Ok, it's time to focus on male models, and for this reason I'll show you three brand new images of British male supermodel David Gandy featured inside the S/S 2012 campaign for Banana Republic's Mad Men collection.

As I wrote in one of the previous posts, the collection has been inspired by the homonymous TV series, and for the campaign, beside the handsome David, we can also spot legendary supermodel Shalom Harlow.

They're surely a beautiful and stylish couple, don't you think?

You'll surely know Adele, the British singer that with her second album titled 21 conquered the music charts of the whole world, and I'm pretty sure that you loved her songs, especially the melancholic ballad Someone Like You.

Well darlings, the singer will grace the cover of the March 2012 issue of the prestigious American Vogue, with a beautiful cover shot by the unstoppable duo Mert&Marcus.

This is certainly a simple and essential cover, but in my opinion is simply beautiful.

Carven F/W 2012 menswear

When I saw Carven's F/W 2012 menswear collection, the first thing that came to my mind was a feeling of nostalgia, that perfectly fits with the inspiration behind this collection: a young country boy that goes to Paris, or to another big city, all alone, leaving his family and friends. It's a feeling of loneliness, but not in a bad way. It's almost a need of self-expression and independence, it's like a research of a personal style, made of slim trousers, fitted and short jackets, sometimes worn on a warm sweater, wide coats that could be borrowed from dad's closet.

This is surely a collection for young men, and is surely a good way to "introduce" them inside the fashion world. Maybe you have to be so skinny to wear those jackets and trousers, but that's another story...

Alexander Wang F/W 2012 womenswear

For his F/W 2012 womenswear collection, fashion designer Alexander Wang displayed the eternal "battle" between two timeless colors: black and white, interrupted sometimes by deep burgundy and charcoal grey.

There's lot of leather inside this collection, from jackets, to wide coats, trousers and dresses, sometimes mixed with more ethereal fabrics and radiant white. A collection made of simple and sometimes wide shapes, with a hint of military inspiration, reworked with a bit of eroticism and sexiness, as displayed by the last two looks, worn by Carmen Kass and Gisele.

Balmain F/W 2012 menswear

When I think about Balmain, I associate the label with sparkling sequins, golden studs, very expensive clothes and a glam-rock attitude. Well, this is pretty correct if we think about the womenswear collections of the label, but the F/W 2012 menswear collection was, in my opinion, a bit flat.

The collection was inspired by the Russian army, with strong and strict military shapes, mixed with pieces, especially the trousers, that recall the tights worn by legendary ballet dancers. The grace of ballet meets the strength and power of the army, for a collection that displayed the old-school rock Balmain in a more refined way, without studs, sequins and glitter.

Dahlia Noir Eau de Toilette, this is the name of the new scent, has been described as a fruity-floral fragrance, with a pale pink shade, that perfectly represents the more feminine and romantic side of every woman.

The fragrance, available from the beginning of February 2012 as eau de toilette in 50 and 75 size, has a juicy and fruity beginning, thanks to the tasty essences of lemon, mandarin and sweet peach zest. The freshness of the opening notes has been balanced with the rich floral bouquet, which is the heart of the fragrance thanks a rich mix of fragrant petals and pink pepper, that gives to the essence a more fizzy twist. The scent ends with creamy and greedy essence of vanilla, mingled with warm cedar, musk and aromatic sandalwood.

The bottle of the eau de toilette version is the same used for the eau de parfum, but this time the cap has a pale pink color, that perfectly matches with the romantic color of the fragrance.

Eva Mendes shines in Dolce&Gabbana and Prada on US Marie Claire

If I'm not wrong, few days ago I showed you the cover of the March 2012 issue of American Marie Claire, featuring sexy actress Eva Mendes.

Ok, I've just checked, and I'm sure that I did it. You know, just to be precise and accurate.

The cover is a triumph of sparkle, thanks to the fabulous Dolce&Gabbana's black corset encrusted with colorful shining crystals, worn by Eva in other two shots. I have to say that Eva looks hot, but that corset looks hot too!

But Eva didn't sparkle only with that amazing corset. In one of the pictures she wore in fact a precious (and expensive) Prada bodysuit, embellished with pink crystals.

Which one is your favorite? I have to say that the Prada one is very beautiful, but you know, Dolce&Gabbana has a special place in my fashion heart.

I don't remember if I've already told you how much Bianca Balti looks stunning, but thanks to this post I'll have the chance to repeat this fact. Again and again.

Ladies, I know that you all look amazing, but at the moment, Bianca Balti is for me the most fabulous woman on the fashion planet.

Do you need another proof of what I am saying?

Well, you just have to take a look at the images shot by fashion photographer Giampaolo Sgura fot the S/S 2012 campaign for Dolce&Gabbana Eyewear. I think that other words are useless now, don't you think?

Billy Reid isn't surely one of the "big" names in the fashion world, but I have to say that I really enjoyed his F/W 2012 womenswear collection, especially the first two and the last two looks.

A selection of garments, which are modern and wearable, perfect for our chaotic days of work. There's everything a woman needs inside this collection: beautiful coats (the first one and the black one with fur collar are amazing), leather jackets, dresses, skirts, shirts and man inspired suits (the electric blue one is TDF).

Balenciaga F/W 2012 menswear

Darlings, don't hate me, but I have to confess you that I'm not a big Balenciaga fan, even if I have to say that the F/W 2012 menswear collection was pretty good and interesting.

The center of this collection were certainly the perfectly tailored suits, mixed with more edgy and daring pieces and fabrics.

It's a new step for the brand, a new approach, maybe more traditional, to style and elegance, without losing the eccentricity and all those features that made Balenciaga, one of the strongest and more influential fashion houses of our days.

Alexander Wang F/W 2012 menswear

The street is once again the main inspiration behind Alexander Wang's F/W 2012 menswear collection, mixed with a sporty-chic attitude. This was certainly the starting point of the whole collection, but reworked in a more refined and stylish way, thanks to techno fabrics, like neoprene, leather and a bit of warm shearling.

The colors of this collection are pretty dark (black and forest green), interrupted only by optical white and a bit of beige and cobalt blue (I want that jumper...).

Giorgio Armani Privé S/S 2012

I have to admit that I'm in love with Giorgio Armani Privé, the couture line of legendary fashion designer Giorgio Armani. The latest collections have been great. I'm still dreaming with the Japanese inspiration used on the F/W 2011 collection, and the S/S 2012 fashion show definitely blew me away.

It has been inspired by the snake, a reptile that changes different skins through its lives, and during the fashion show, the woman designed by Giorgio Armani revealed her different "skins": luxury crocodile jackets, impeccable pencil skirts, fluid dresses and opulent evening gowns with iridescent sequins and crystals.

The palette of colors is simply, but very strong: black, pearly grey, beige, gold, olive green and acid green.

Yesterday I showed you the cover of the March 2012 issue of W Magazine, shot by fashion photographer Steven Klein, featuring British supermodel Kate Moss, and today I want to share with you the second cover created for the same issue.

If you loved the "Immaculate Kate", I'm pretty sure that you'll love this one too, because it's at the opposite side of the spectrum. Scarlet lips, ethereal complexion, black lace, black chiffon and black leather are the "ingredients" of the "Bad Kate" cover.

Fashion Bible, this is the title of the March 2012 issue of W Magazine, featuring British supermodel Kate Moss on the cover.

The image, shot by renowned fashion photographer Steven Klein, is simply fantastic, because it portrays Kate in a new and never seen before way: platinum blonde hair, no make-up, almost invisible eyebrows and a lot of virginal white lace.

Jean Paul Gaultier S/S 2012 couture

Amy Winehouse goes couture according to Jean Paul Gaultier. The French fashion designer displayed in fact a collection dedicated to the late singer, with many beautiful and desirable pieces (I think that I'm love with at least the 98% of the collection).

The S/S 2012 couture collection includes some "iconic" pieces of the designer, reworked in a more daring and unusual way, like the bustier, the trench-dress and the "man inspired" suit. There are different kinds of women on the Parisian runway: the sexy doll who wears fitted bustiers, the androgynous lady who prefers a sober and almost austere look, the vamp, who loves to strut her stuff all day (and night) long.

Guys, this collection is, in my opinion, amazing. God save Gaultier!
