I’ve recently experienced miraculous improvements in my Time in Range (TIR) alongside significant weight loss. I was on the Libra 2 a few years ago and liked the 15 days.  Went to the Guardian and liked the way it programmed the pump - A1C 6.4.  Now I am wondering if the Instinct needs a few weeks to get the programming working to control the blood sugars?<br />

My long time friend said she has had many benefits, the main one is she no longer has pre-cancerous polyps in her colon after five years of colonoscopies with polyps.  It helps with her arthritis, she no longer feels the need of a nap after lunch, and has reduced a bump on her wrist from carpal tunnel surgery.<br />

After reaching the glucose limits before slipping into a coma it has transpired that what I eat has little to do with my glucose levels. As I have autonomic polyneuropathy and now FND, food or fluid is being stuck in the upper stomach log jaming and causing an urgent reaction and the dumping of glucose into the system to fight the problem. This is causing spikes of 26 mmol/l daily. That is about 470 mg/dl. Not being able to tolerate medication is causing trouble. I&#039;m classed as T2 still...<br />

We were bemused by the heavy snow storm in Texas but felt sorry for all the accidents on the road.  The arctic air side of Jet stream seems to go way down south.  Possibly no snow for Christmas.  I can live with that but Canada (with the exception of our semi-tropical paradise) without snow is like Hell without fire.</div>]]></content:encoded>

<br />
Apparently babies drinking milk is considered Vegan, but for adults consuming any dairy product that comes from a mammal is not Vegan.<br />
<br />
This lead me down the path of investigating lactose intolerance and apparently the ability to digest dairy in adults was a genetic mutation, that spread rapidly around 10000 years ago, because it was a survival trait during failed crop seasons and famine.<br />

That is the first time I have had a reading over 100, and the doctor didn&#039;t order an HBA1C.  She consulted with me after and said I was pre-diabetic.  She told me to cut as many carbs as I could from my diet, and she would restest at the end of June (which would be 3 months after that test).  She said she would also do an HBA1C at that time as well.  <br />

The one on the stomach was the most accurate but all 3 gave readings that were many times up to 50 pts off.  Also had a LOT of false low readings that would then read high a few minutes later. I get an appointment with my dentist and I tell him that I don&#039;t think it is a tooth going south, but a sinus infection as I can chew with no pain.<br />
He takes X-rays and there doesn&#039;t seem to be any tooth problem.<br />
I am now on antibiotics for the next 4 days.<br />
I count myself lucky it isn&#039;t a tooth.<br />

I have seen 4 different ophthalmologists over the past 2 years &amp; it&#039;s been very difficult to actually get a cataract diagnosis. One leading cataract surgeon actually told me that I have no cataracts! Others have said that I do but it&#039;s not severe enough to have surgery.<br />
