We were bemused by the heavy snow storm in Texas but felt sorry for all the accidents on the road. The arctic air side of Jet stream seems to go way down south. Possibly no snow for Christmas. I can live with that but Canada (with the exception of our semi-tropical paradise) without snow is like Hell without fire.

And I did have organic, wholemeal, seeded bread and Flora light margarine.

I have read/heard a lot of different things about diet and have to say as a newly diagnosed diabetic I am thoroughly confused! My nurse said to eat normally though, but cut down on fat, salt and sugar which I think I am doing ok - the odd slip aside! I don't need to lose any weight...
Tonight I made Thai Spicy Coconut Shrimp Soup - one of our favorites, and I think it is one of the prettiest dishes in the world! It's made with chicken...
