Do your dogs love to be offered treats as much as mine? They just feel so special when they are given a bit of something EXTRA! I have 4 dogs and they all LOVE TREATS.

It really doesn’t matter what bit of EXTRA I decide to give them as a treat but I usually cook up a bunch of liver… cut it into bite size pieces and then freeze it in small containers for them. This is quick, easy and very economical as well as being good for them.

I have found a new treat that is good for them and they love it. We buy dog

I have to tell you about a book I bought that contains so much wonderful information about Diatomaceous Earth. I thought I knew a lot about this great product that I have been using but I have found I didn’t know hardly anything.
The book is called Going Green Using Diatomaceous Earth How-To-Tips, by Tui Rose, R.N. This is a very informative book on all the many uses of food grade diatomaceous earth!! The author goes into much detail on everything from using DE for pets to pest control to people. Most of the information in the book is based on her many years of actual experience with DE. You will not be far into the book when you will catch her passion for all the many uses of safe and natural food grade diatomaceous earth.

If you are interested in the many benefits of using diatomaceous earth this is a must have book for you.

I think the number one question I get about my dirt is….    How do you eat it?

I have heard people put it in orange juice, coffee, mix it in milk.
Sprinkle it on peanut butter and on popcorn, I have even heard
people put it in pancake mix.
Diatomaceous earth looks just like flour and it has the same
consistency. I either put it in my protein shake that I whip using
a hand held blender or I stir it into yogurt.
There is no taste to it and the blender that I use takes just a couple
of seconds to mix my shake creamy smooth. I would never know I was
eating dirt.

I have never had a professional manicure. I just can’t see why I would want to pay someone to do something that I can do myself… Call me CHEAP, it is my middle name.
Besides, I have never had long nails. They get to a certain point and then they break off crack or peel.
Since I have been eating Diatomaceous Earth (DE) I have noticed that my nails are much stronger and they are growing. I am growing much healthier finger nails. Just another added benefit to eating dirt!

I scoop a big spoonful of this white powdery stuff into my yogurt… Every Morning.
Since I have been eating my dirt I have made a real conscious effort to drink more water, clean PLAIN water. That does not mean tea, coffee, soda, ect. it means WATER.
Several years ago I was listening to an interview on the radio. I do not remember what it was about but I recall one particular part of it. The guest was talking about drinking lots of water daily. The host said something to the effect of…”what about tea and coffee, does that count?
The guest politely repeated… water, plain water. She went on to give this analogy. Pretend you had a dinner party and after the quests left it was to late to start the clean up. So you just decided to soak the dishes till the morning. You certainly wouldn’t soak them in tea, would you?
That vivid story left an image in my mind of the importance of PLAIN WATER. Tea, coffee, and soda are all extra.
