This is the layout which Dawn and I tag teamed each other while recording the Digiscrap Map show together while she was here visiting me. The kit uses is Jeri Ingalls Tranquil Valley.

Below is the video for the show. Yes, we had a lot of techy issues and yes, we were silly and not so professional with this show, but it's good to have fun!

Here are the parody lyrics we wrote, just in case you want to sing along!

Here is the show that goes with Digiscrap Map #11.

Dawn and I recorded on my patio. We had hoped to do it in the garden, but could not get a strong enough internet connection out that far, so we had to improvise and do a "plan B." It was a lot of fun and Dawn did get to see how much work is behind the scenes for one of these shows.

The old camcorder we used was very slow and so the video is choppy. I edited it a lot to take out times when the camcorder went into demo/pause mode!

Hey all!

I am so excited about our first LIVE DigiScrap Map with myself and Hummie! This one will be different, because we will be under the same roof!! How exciting!!

I am sure that you all know by now that I will be very soon on my way to St Louis to meet Hummie, and we are going to be sharing our fun with all of you and doing a show with us scrapping together, and just plain ol' having a good time! We are going to collaborate on a layout together (won't that be fun!?!) and chatting with all of you in the chatroom!

We have already been chatting about some things that we are going to do to make this really fun-- won't you join us??

Dawn and Hummie will be together in Hummie's flower garden LIVE sharing tips for better photos for better layouts.

Hummie has for a long time been wanting to complete the photography course and this will be a jump start for her to begin working on the course again, as well as a sneak peak for you for what is to come.

We welcome you to chat in the chatbox also and share your tips with us so everyone can learn from each other.

If the weather is difficult that morning, we will improvise either on the carport or indoors.

Digiscrap Map Live Show #9

We had a great time chatting with Karen of Snickerdoodle Designs.

We had a lot of great topics brought up in discussions, but here is two I noted while we were taping the show. Karen shares how she utilizes puppet warp in cs5 in her designing. In addition, she shares that she was interviewed for a free online magazine at http://www.papersandpixels.com/.

This is just a few of the things mentioned, so go ahead, watch and enjoy! I especially enjoyed hearing her chat about climbing on a ladder to get photos of the bird and nest photo she shares and how she utilized those photos in a kit.

Digiscrap Map with Lisa Hanks of Plain Digital Wrapper

What did we learn about Plain Digital Wrapper during this interview? We learned that they are a crazy fun bunch of scrappers! Tomorrow is International Talk Like a Pirate Day and so be sure to catch the sales at PDW. I tried to talk like a pirate in the video, but I'm not too good at it! After the recording, we continued to have fun and Lisa even let her children out of their rooms and we got an even better glimps of what a great mom she is. How many children does she have? Just watch the video!

Her connection had static with it, so the sound is not the best, but I do hope you enjoy the show as much as we did making it. I have to smile at how her husband supported her by creating a professional backdrop. He needs to come over to my house!

Digiscrap Map Show #4 (Bella Gypsy)

I had a great time meeting Lena Bradenburg and her sister, Tabatha Reed! I've always had the impression that Lena had a bubbly personality and found that she was a bit quieter than I had imagined, but this was the first time she had ever been on a webcam anywhere. Nonetheless, I found her to be a fun person and a great mom, with very professional designs. Tabatha was super shy with the camera, but after Lena's encouragement, did visit with us for a short while and I really appreciated her fighting through her shyness to join us. I just wanted to hug her!

Digiscrap Map Podcast

Digiscrap Map is available through iTunes as a podcast.

Download the free iTunes software and subscribe today.

The following is a tutorial to help you subscribe to the Digiscrap Map podcast.

After installing iTunes, open the program and click on "iTunes Store" in the sidebar.

Click on "Podcasts" on the bar at the top the page.

Type in "Digiscrap Map" in the search box and press the enter key on your keyboard.

The search results will look like the above image. Click on the "subscribe" button. If necessary, click to confirm that you want to subscribe to the podcast.

You will only need to do the above steps one time.
To find the podcast to listen and watch it, click on "Podcasts" in the sidebar.

Click on the triangle-shaped arrow next to the words "Digiscrap Map" to expand the rows.

Click on the "Get" or the "Get all" button and the podcasts will begin downloading from the internet. The "Get all" button will make future podcasts download automatically.

If future podcasts do not download automatically, right click and choose to update the podcast.

Observe the spinning orange circles which indicate that the podcast is downloading. Once downloaded, the circles will turn blue.

Double click on the title of the podcast to begin play.

Once the podcasts are downloaded, you may also access them from the computer folders. Locate the "My Music" folder.

Next, click through the "iTunes" folder an find the "Podcasts" folder.

You may also double click on these files to begin playing the podcasts.

In addition, podcasts may be synced with iPods and iPhones or be put onto other devises that play .m4v files.

Bella Gypsy is two people...Lena Brandenburg (that's me!) and Tabatha Reed (my very shy sister, partner-in-crime, occasional babysitter, fashion consultant, meltdown stabilizer and best friend). I'm Bella and she's Gypsy (more on that at the chat) and we've been designing together for 4 1/2 years.

Digiscrap Map Show #3 (Vicky Laursen)

It was fun meeting Vicky Laursen and seeing what a generous heart her and her husband have with all the time and effort put forth with regard to their site "DigiscrapDepo t." Her husband is does all the site web building and contributes his gifts to this community even though he is not interested in digital scrapbooking at all! Now that's a good husband!

Much of the show we reviewed the new design that will be coming out in the next few weeks at DigiscrapDepot. You can access the beta site at http://beta.digiscrapdepot.com and play around with it as he continues to tweak it. Be aware that what you upload and change may not be saves while in the beta version.
