Heard my friend said this Belkin wireless G universal range extender is already available in PC fair recently.

The device retransmitting wireless signal across a wider coverage area. Yes, without an Ethernet cable.

It is useful when come to wireless network consolidation in office. You don’t need to lay more ugly cables and redundant maintenance. Instead, you can manage your wireless network in main unit.

The Belkin official website do not show its coverage range. But I heard it support up to 300 meter which is wider than normal wifi router. Correct me if I wrong.

RAmos T11 Media Player (Fake iPod touch Clone)

At first sight, RAmos latest touchscreen media player copy GUI from Apple iPod touch. The icon format and GUI feeling at least 90% similar. Another clone gadget from China. What do you think?

Although RAmos is not well known branded (at least I never heard of this brand name), yet equip with full features. It has 5-inch, 800 x 480 display, 8GB internal memory, 720p TV out, FM radio, and support for numerous codecs including H.264 HD, DivX, XviD, MPG, and FLV.

Compare to iPod touch 8GB, it has bigger touchscreen 5-inches instead of 3.5 inches. The price is so cheap almost 37% of iPod touch price. I think this will be iPod touch killer once it enter to the market.

Dell Studio Desktop VS HP Pavilion Elite

You might think HP Pavilion better because of its name? Not in this case. Dell latest Studio Desktop better than HP Pavilion in 3 aspect: Price, Graphic Card, and Hard Drive Capacity.

This Dell come complete with dedicated 256MB ATI Radeon HD card and 750GB (@7200rpm) while HP Pavilion Elite still using 128MB (Shared Memory) Nvidia Geforce and 640GB hard drive.

In term of speed, Dell Studio run on Intel Core 2 Quad 2.3Ghz which is faster than AMD Phenom X4 2.3Ghz in HP (Adobe Photoshop CS3 application benchmark).

My Dog Can Speak with Bowlingual

Dog now can speak human language with bowlingual, can your pet speak too? Yes, the movie Noah speak with animals become reality now!

Japanese invented the device called Bowlingual that “translate” your pets voice into human understandable language. The 1st generation was in the market 7 years ago, 2nd generation will be released soon end of this month.

As you see the dog wear a microphone on his neck. It send over voice data to master controller via wireless 2.4Ghz wave signal. It can differentiate 5000 voice and translate into meaningful sentence on control panel.

The 2nd generation Bowlingual can “speak” and show their mood in action. For example, “I’ll bite you”, “Don’t bother me!”, “I’m alone”, “Play with me”. Also, can record what they say when you’re not home. Very cool isn’t it?

Thinking of getting one for your pets? Currently only available for dog and cat.

Ricoh GR Digital III (28mm/F1.9 Lens)

I heard of Ricoh GR camera some time ago. It is a semi-pro digital camera because cannot change the lens.

Even it is not a DSLR, still very good performance in photography. Many photographer recommend Ricoh GR Digital as secondary camera during travel or casual events.

It is light, yet produce high quality photo with the build-in lens. The wide-angle 28 mm/F1.9 GR Lens is all new, while the high-sensitivity 10-megapixel CCD, 3-inch VGA Display and Video Recording features are more than enough for daily photograph.

But with its price, I rather get a Nikon D90! Do you agree?

Can Samsung SNE-50K Beat Amazon Kindle?

Samsung annouced its new e-book reader SNE-50K. It is similar to Amazon Kindle but have smaller screen at 5-inches.

The outlook design better than Kindle. It is slim and light, only 9mm thick! Although have touch screen and 512MB build-in storage, lack of wireless capability might stop people from buying this gadget.

The question: Can Samsung SNE-50K beat Amazon Kindle? Very clear that the answer is NO. Especially Kindle 2 has more powerful features like 3G wireless, keyboard and 6-inches screen. Buy and read book has never be so easy.

Price: No information as SNE-50K only sell in South Korea.

Why Asus Eee PC is your best netbook choice among others? Because it run faster. No HP mini, Acer Aspire nor Toshiba Mini can beat it!

Look at the graph, Asus Eee PC 1008HA win the 1st place in multimedia multitasking test. Shorter bar means better performance.

Of course, high-end Netbook has its price. Don’t compare price to low end model. The Asus 1008HA model selling at $429 (USD). People might get a low end laptop with that money on hand.

The latest model 1005HA (white) keep the slim design but at cheaper price. Just slightly slower than HP mini 110. Check out the specs:

iPhone 3GS is so hot in mobile phone market. Everybody is talking about its new features and Speed.

My question is how you sure iPhone 3GS run faster than its predecessor? The guys from CNet did a good job to compare its real life speed with iPhone 3G and HTC Touch Diamond2.

Which mobile phone win the fastest speed? iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G or HTC Touch Diamond2? Let’s begin few simple speed test in the video.

As a result, iPhone 3GS win most of the test except the last one.

Start Up Test - iPhone 3GS (1st), iPhone 3G (2nd), HTC Diamond2 (3rd)
Web browser rendering - iPhone 3GS (1st), iPhone 3G (2nd), HTC Diamond2 (3rd)
Youtube video streaming - iPhone 3GS (1st), iPhone 3G (2nd), HTC Diamond2 (3rd)
Shutdown Speed - Unexpectedly, HTC Touch Diamond2 the first, follow by iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G.

The time difference between iPhone and HTC in 4th test too significant. HTC shutdown say in 5 seconds, but iPhone took years to turn off totally. Probably Apple iPhone developer overlook this part?

In fact, we seldom shutdown mobile phone unless change battery. So who care the shutdown speed?

USB UltraSound device on Windows Mobile

What a brilliant invention! Ultra Sound device connect to a Windows Mobile smart phone over USB wire. Two computer science professors from Washington University produce the device, funded by Microsoft.

It will be useful for ambulances or traveling medical staffs. I can foreseen this device will improve efficiency in medical industry. Imagine medical staffs can do ultra sound scan right on ambulance or patient home before reach to nearest hospital. Complete diagnose for further action in shorter time.

They are hoping to sell the device for around $500 USD, cheaper than many portable ultrasounds, which can cost $30,000 USD.
