This iPad app isn’t for those who must do fancy HTML editing. You can input photos that will insert at the bottom of your post (see example below). Also you have the option to preview, but oddly doesn’t show me the photo.

The WordPress app gives you the ability to input tags and categories, but no custom fields. Another thing that this app does not provide is any WYSIWYG abilities, such as revising font sizes adding links, that’s just annoying.

If you use the visual functionality in wordpress, that is WYSIWIG. Same with Adobe Dreamweaver.

Overall, I think this app would be great for starting posts and then finishing later when you have the full set of editing wordpress capabilities in front of you.

Angry Birds lite is available on in the Android market starting today.  The full version, which will most likely be a paid app – is currently in beta.

I’ve watched 3 times. I should be eating lunch. This is too good not too share!

This is an interactive film – but I’d say it’s a music video set in motion for Arcade Fire’s “We Used to Wait For It” – how could I not of known about this band before?  The brillance of this – they just made 1 customer.

The one negative to this interactive film vs a YouTube video? I can’t see how many people have viewed. I would LOVE to see the Google Analytics stats on this.

The Story Behind The Wilderness Downtown

Arcade Fire is who you listen to — the song in The Wilderness Downtown is “We Used to Wait.”

Chris Milk and a team of brilliant programmers led by Aaron Koblin created this web masterpiece.  Using a ton of creativity and crazy mad HTML5 programming skills — The Wilderness Downtown brings together sound and motion into a web experience like no other.  In my 20 years (I was a wee tweenager on Gopher, yes – I am a geek. Always have been, will always be.) – this is huge.

Huge kudos to Chris Milk, Aaron Koblin and their programming teams (and Google) on this web experience.  You have made my day complete. And I sadly wanted to cry when I saw my childhood home on the screen.

Einstein Baby - HOW GREAT is This? Okay now let's talk Baby Einstein iPhone App

When Mom Select put out a call to review My Baby Einstein iPhone app -- I jumped at it.

My kids have grown up loving the Baby Einstein product line.  It all started with the videos, then came the toys.  And just when I thought  had outgrown the brand… I have another child.  I put the videos on a few weeks back and all 3 kids sat mesmerized by the puppets and music.  That’s what I call a great product! My kids are 7, 5 and 5 months.

Tune Runner is a fun iPad app that

Put your music library in motion with Tune Runner. Tune Runner can be played on your iPhone, iPod Touch or in HD on the iPad.

The game is easy to play. Tune Runner uses your music library on your iPad or iPhone (or iPod Touch).  Each song creates a unique level. On top of of each song creating a unique level -- each song also creates a new score board. Your score is placed on a worldwide scorecard for each song --  so you are up against everyone else who is playing the game with that song.

The game itself involves drawing shapes as they appear on the screen. The little robot jukebox dude runs along and you want to draw the shape before he hits it.

Overall -- really cute game. The HD graphics on the iPad are clear and the game is fun. I haven’t uploaded my full iTune library to my iPad yet, so know when that happens it’ll be fun to watch the kids play this to Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber jamming in the background.

Have you ever had one of those weekends where you know that things are going to be busy but you just don’t realize how busy until you are in the hustle and bustle? Not me.

It WASN’T ME who took a wee early flight in the morning on Friday to spend time with her kids on Thursday night. SO WEE early that someone drove to the airport at 6am half asleep. AND SO WEE early that the someone left the light on in the car on accident since it was STILL DARK when that someone got out of the car.

It WASN’T ME who geeked out AGAIN when talking to Marcus Buckingham (he’s my hero).

It WASN’T ME who received a sweet little note in my travel packet from a little lamb who blogs at Sunshine & Starlight WARNING ME NOT to geek out on Marcus Buckingham.

It WASN’T ME who snuck this pic of Michelle Aguilar and Lisa Harper backstage at Women of Faith.

It WASN’T ME who stalked my baby via her iphone app which is connected to the baby monitor ALL WEEKEND.

It WASN’T ME who freaked out and called her husband in a panic when the baby hadn’t moved in 3 hours and it was NOON on Saturday – only to find out that the iPhone app had frozen.

It WASN’T ME who made food art out her food in catering and took pics and MMS’d them to her co-worker.

It WASN’T ME who got a flight home on Saturday and it arrived 30 minutes early (who has ever heard of that!?!?!). After rushing to her car to surprise her family she found out that the SOMEONE who had left the interior car light on and was now stuck in Terminal B with a DEAD BATTERY.

It WASN’T ME who had to have her husband haul 3 kids not fed to the airport to jump her battery.

It WASN’T ME who wanted to CRY CRY CRY all the way home.
