Toshiba Camileo H10 HD camcorder

It seems that those who want to get some HD recoding done on the cheap, but not ready to venture into some less familiar territory now have a new option for consideration by Toshiba, which is set to release its new Camileo H10 camcorder. This will give you the usual 720p recording, along with a 5x optical zoom, 10-megapixel sensor, 64MB of memory, SDHC card slot for expansion, image stabilization, motion detection and, of course, one HDMI output to let you view your low-budget masterpiece. It is not about the release of 'round these parts, unfortunately, but those in the UK can apparently get their hands on one at the end of the month for £ 180 ($ 360 or less, when VAT and whatnot were taken out of the equation)

Nah, it's no Mag-Lite, but the Tri-Solar LED Flashlight should handle most minor lighting needs. The unit can operate with one LED on, three LEDs on or all three LEDs flashing (you know, in case you realize the car you just hopped in is now making a b-line for the Bates Motel). Because a single solar panel can only catch so much sunlight, this one has a trifecta of cells that fold out and generate juice for the bulbs. Not too bad for $32, particularly when you realize that it doubles as a weapon.

Dell gets "official" with colorful Studio 15 and Studio 17 laptop lines

Not like Dell's done an exceptional job keeping this one a secret, but yes, the Studio 15 and Studio 17 laptops do seem to be more than a figment of someone's imagination -- at least, according to a believable release posted up at BetaNews, which has since been pulled. Predictably, the former line features a 15-inch panel while the latter steps up to 17-inches, and both crews will be offered in a smattering of hues including black, grey, blue, green, pink, orange, purple and red. Prices on these units are set to start at $799, while you'll find Intel's Core 2 Duo alongside up to 4GB of RAM, upwards of 320GB of HDD space, an 8-in-1 multicard reader, 802.11b/g WiFi, Bluetooth, gigabit Ethernet, an optional Blu-ray drive and the usual assortment of ports. Folks looking to stay connected around the clock can opt for a Sprint / Verizon WWAN card, and there's also an optional 9-cell battery if the standard 6-cell just isn't longevous enough. Price cuts and 60GB Xbox 360 rumored for E3

E3 is set to roll next month from July 15th to the 17th. With it comes the annual deluge of gaming rumors. Today we've got a pair for Microsoft. No, not another Blu-ray Xbox 360 whisper. Rather, we've got a resurrection of the 60GB Xbox 360 courtesy of Trusted Reviews as well as a US hardware price cut (and a nod towards a new SKU) according to EEDAR analyst Jesse Divnich. Trusted Reviews' source claims that the 60GB rig will drop sometime in the first 10-days of August after an E3 announce. Hear that Sony, care to respond?

Orange's recharge Pod tent to keep mobiles juiced at Glastonbury

For those fortunate enough to be planning a trip to this year's Glastonbury, you can rest assured that forgetting your mobile charger won't be the worst thing that could possibly happen. Reportedly, Orange will erect a seven-meter high recharge Pod tent in which patrons can stop by and reinvigorate their winded handset. Said tent will boast 500-watt solar panels and a 500-watt wind turbine in order to generate electricity for the lifeless phones, and Orange is hoping to juice up 100 devices per hour. If only such conveniences were everywhere.
