Directive 63 to give presentation to ISSA Central Virginia

On October 12, 2011 D.63 founders Thomas Baer and Chad Baer will be presenting for the Information System Security Association Central Virginia Chapter October Luncheon. The D.63 Team will be tackling "The Missing Piece" of IT Security by discussing social engineering, intelligence, re-emerging threats, and new shifts in technology. Virginia AG meets with regional businesses; Discussion includes VA cyber concerns

On August 9, 2011 the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce invited Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli to discuss current challenges facing the Commonwealth, and the AG's office in particular. Directive 63 was a proud platinum sponsor of this event where the AG discussed many topics important to businesses including the current Healthcare Reform lawsuits, Cap & Trade, labor concerns, immigration, and -- important to D.63 -- Virginia's concerns in cyber.

Mr. Cuccinelli spent several hours with local business leaders and Chamber members discussing their concerns, as well as his own as a representative of Virginia. The event was highly informative, and provided a great venue for citizens to get direct answers to important questions facing their businesses. We want to thank the FRCC and Mr. Cuccinelli for making the event a success, and being generous with their time.

IT Schedule 70 is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contract. It allows GSA industry partners to offer a comprehensive array of IT products, services, and solutions.

Directive 63 offers key specialized services to government customers focused in the cyber security field. Our schedule offerings include: Information Assurance, Systems Security Admiinistration & Management, IA Technical Expert, and Digital Forensics services.

Directive 63 has launched a new Information Assurance and computer forensics blog, The Directive.

It is our goal to use this blog as an integral way to interact with visitors, guests, and clients. On The Directive we will be providing commentary about interesting industry news, links to other relevant blogs and information, and highlighting new trends in our industry. This will not be a platform for us to promote Directive 63 News and Events, or "toot our own horn".
