Anesia is a real estate investor and entrepreneur involved in multi-unit apartment buildings, pre-construction, property management, rehabbing, land development, condominiums, and most recently, a hotel. She currently holds properties in the northwest, midwest, and southwest areas of the United States. Her favorite type of real estate is multi-unit apartments that generate cash flow every month.

After working inside of corporate America for 10 years, Anesia knew she needed a change. She wanted to stop working so hard for money and discovered that investing in real estate would put her money to work for her. She bought her first 10 units and learned the business as she went. Working full time at a job and simultaneously full time on properties lead to the creation of The Landlord System. Only with the help of systems was she able to wean herself away from the daily demands of her investments and buy more properties while still holding down a job. Once her monthly cash flow exceeded her living expenses, Anesia quit her job and got out of the rat race. Today she spends her time looking for deals and teaching others how to systemize their rental properties so they can reach financial freedom as well.

Anesia’s professional background is in business to business software sales. She holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing, has started several businesses, and has trained to become a private pilot. She has experience in all aspects of landscaping, laying tile, installing concrete, and painting. Anesia resides in Phoenix, Arizona with her husband and her Westie. She enjoys traveling, hiking, investing, wine, and music.

I am happily married and father to 4 amazing children.  My oldest son, 17, plays highschool basketball and baseball; My daughter, 14, plays middleschool basketball and softball; My middle son, 6, is a ball of fire, full of personality and joy, he just lights up a room when he enters; and my youngest son, just over a year old and changing every day, already gives us so much joy and laughter.  He is undoubtedbly our orneriest one yet!  We are truly blessed with amazing, caring children and a large circle of supportive friends and family.  We are proud active members of Lifechurch.tv and strive to improve ourselves and help others in everything we do.

The majority of my “free time” is spent with my family, whether at school functions, practices & games, or huddled around a good board game.  We also really enjoy being a part of local sporting events, such as OKC Hornets Basketball, OKC Blazers Hockey, Oklahoma Redhawks Baseball, University of Oklahoma Sooners (Mens and Womens sports), BOOMER SOONER!  We recently watched the
USA Womens Softball Team beat Japan in the World Cup of Softball, July 2007.

With Oklahoma City’s newfound national stage growing rapidly, we’re really excited about the possibilities of where it will take us.  Having been a big part of the Hornets recent stay in Oklahoma City, we got to witness firsthand that our city really is ready to take on and support the Pros and we’re anxious to see how everything turns out with the Hornets and the Sonics.  Pro Basketball is coming to OKC to stay and it’s just a matter of time before we see even further expansion into who knows what… baseball, football, hockey?

I grew up in Denver, proudly graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder and spent many hours visiting with my family at their home’s on Flying Fish and Flying Cloud Isle in FC so I got to know it pretty well. I met my lovely bride Lesley in 1989 and we moved to the Bay Area where I became a Realtor and worked for the Re/Max office that used to be at the location the Inktomi Mausoleum now sits on…Hillsdale between Shell and Foster City Blvd.

When our building was torn down I moved to Re/Max Today in San Carlos where I still am today. My office is the most productive office in San Mateo county and I’m proud to say that I’m associated with it! David is extremely active in the local Mena Area Board of REALTORS. He is a Past President of the Board. David has served as a past director for the Board. For many years he chaired the Arkansas REALTORS Political Action Committee “ARPAC” for the Mena Area Board of REALTORS.

David has also served on the Nominating Committee and as a member of the REALTOR-of-the-Year Committee for the Mena Area Board of REALTORS.

David serves on the Risk Reduction Committee and the Professional Standards Committee for the Arkansas REALTORS Association. This committee reviews the real estate forms that are used statewide by both REALTORS and independent real estate agents.

David was selected by his fellow Realtors for the REALTOR-of-the-Year Awards. He has also been a Million Dollar Awards and an Award for Excellence recipient with the Arkansas REALTORS Association.

David has attained his e-PRO designation with the National Association of REALTORS. He and his wife, Patti, are the only e-PROs® in the Mena Area Board of REALTORS. Of 1,000,000 REALTORS across the nation their are approximately 5,000 REALTORS that have attained this designation.

David is one of a handful CyberStars® in the United States. The CyberStars are a select group of top agents from around the U.S., Canada, and Australia. They are a premier networking, information-sharing group of technology-using market leaders in real estate today.

David has been active in local politics and volunteer activities on the statewide level. David was recently appointed by Governor Huckabee to the Division of Volunteerism Advisory Council. The Arkansas Division of Volunteerism was formed in 1974 (the first of its kind in the Nation (with the purpose of promoting and supporting volunteerism in the private, nonprofit and government sectors as a means of solving problems for all Arkansans. The division, housed with the Department of Human Services, has offered training, technical assistance and information to all Arkansans for the past 30 years. The Advisory Council consists of 16 members from throughout the State appointed by the Governor for three-year terms. They meet quarterly to review on-going programs and provide support and guidance to the Division’s Staff. He has been a government appointee to the Commission on National and Community Service, served as its Chairman, and continued to serve in this commission until he was term limited out.

David began his real estate career in Dallas, Texas as a Project Manager, Mortgage Loan Broker and Developer. He was active in developing mini-strip shopping centers and was one of the five partners that built the new Mesquite Rodeo Arena in Mesquite, Texas. David actively placed commercial loans for developers in the Dallas Metroplex Market Place.

David began is career as a public school teacher and administrator. He taught on the University level. He served as a management and finance consultant in the health care delivery industry. He owned and operated several private businesses up to entering the real estate business in the early eighties.

David and Patti have settled in the Mena area and are enjoying the quality of life and the beauty offered in this mountain community. They own a ranch east of Hatfield, Arkansas, which adjoins their parent’s ranch.

About Me

I was born and raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and moved here to Pleasure Island in 2001.  I spent over 20 years in the hardware and building material business before deciding to move to the area in which I had wanted to live since I was a child.   My parents spent their honeymoon in Gulf Shores 54 years ago, so I have been coming to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach literally all of my life.

I began investing in real estate in the mid 1970´s and bought my first property while I was in college at the University of Alabama.  My Dad helped me remodel it and get it ready to rent.  I bought my first condominium at Harbour Place in Orange Beach in 1998.  My wife and I made a deal, we made every decision together except the decorating.  It worked out well and we were hooked.

We have owned property in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach and the Fort Morgan area and we have owned vacant lots, single family homes and condominiums.  The point I am trying to make is that I believe in real estate as an investment and I have experience in investing.  I am a full time Realtor and I am a top producer in the market.

I recently transferred my Real Estate license to Ono Professional Partners.  I made the tough decision to change companies for two basic reasons.  One, this is a company that is highly respected in the community and is comprised of full time Realtors whose focus is on keeping abreast of the market and selling real estate.  Two, one of the owners of the company is a developer.  That gives my clients pre-construction opportunities that many real estate companies just cannot offer.
