I was in Krogers yesterday buying produce and noticed that much of it was either from the Valley or from Mexico. How hard would it be for the Swine Flu Virus to hitch a ride on produce imported from Mexico? Not that hard I would think. If the Virus is easy enough to catch just by touching a door knob or another object that an infected person has touched, then it’s not that far fetched to think that produce or other products handled by infected people would be contaminated.

I don’t know what you would have done, but I passed on anything imported from Mexico.

Of course our Government would never step up and shut down imported goods from Mexico. So that leaves you and me to protect our Families by being educated as to where your food is coming from. You can choose whatever you want, but for the time being, I’ll stay clear of Mexican restaurants, produce from Mexico and anything else that comes from below the border or where immigrants are known to work at.

You’ll have to decide for yourself if it’s smart to boycott products from Mexico due to the Swine Flu. I’m just giving you some food (no pun intended) for thought.

I guess you could argue that it’s better late than never, but really, 5 days? Perhaps he was busy trying to keep his illegal alien Aunt from being deported?

Now what should happen is that we have swift and decisive air strikes followed by a land invasion from the Marines on every little crap hole these so called Pirates hang out. We know where they’re at but do you think Obama will do that? If you do, please, hold your breath until he does.

Have you noticed a pattern with Barrack lately? According to him, America is always needing help with something! We need help with the financial crisis, help at helping others, help to fight piracy, etc. You see what is happening here? Obama’s trying to steer us to thinking we need the World’s help in every matter at home and abroad. That’s called transnationalism and Obama has bigger plans for it than Bush every thought about having.

I’ll bet that Obama will probably have those SEAL Team members demoted for killing the Pirates. He probably just wanted them shot in the arm or leg, not killed. Probably didn’t want their feelings hurt by taking away their hostage.

Kudos to the Navy SEALs, Captain Phillips and the Crew of the hijacked ship. They proved to be Americans. They fought back! They didn’t wait to be negotiated over. They saw evil and beat it back even though they had no guns. How many of those other hijacked ships or more than 200 hostages still being held by Somalian Pirates do you think would be there if they had fought back like these Americans? Damn few!

What Do Somali’s Think Of The Rescue of Capt. Phillips?

AP did a story about the rescue. It said that most Somaili’s are sympathetic to the Pirates but worry that some nations will retaliate and attack they towns the live in. Especially if the Pirates/terrorist take revenge out on some of the other hostages they are holding.

Personally, I’m sure that if it’s up to Obama, that guy has nothing to worry about!

The AP interviewed one Pirate who said that it was a “painful experience” learning about his dead Pirate buddies. Personally, I think we should make it a painful experience for all of his Pirate/terrorist friends.

But the Somalian Pirate then went on to say this:

This is unfortunate action and our friends should have done more to kill the captain before they were killed. This will be a good lesson for us

Ahhh…this is what happens Mr. Obama when you drag your feet and the enemy, yes I said enemy, thinks you’re weak.

It’s said you can tell a Pirate in Somalia when you see one because they are fat and happy.

It’s about time we made it to where the Somalian Citizens have a career choice of being a skinny and sad fisherman versus being a Fat and dead Pirate.

What ever happened to “We don’t negotiate with terrorist?”

The last time Pirates took American hostages off the coast of Tripoli, President Thomas Jefferson sent in the U.S. Marines to wipe these scum off the face of the Earth. A Pirate hasn’t thought about hijacking an American flagged vessel in over 200 years, until now.

President Obama, it’s time you grew a pair and sent in the U.S. Marines to wipe every Pirate off the face of the Somalian coast. Not send a FBI team to negotiate with 4 freakin’ terrorist in a little orange lifeboat. If you want to send someone Mr. President, send in a SEAL Team and make sure the only one that comes back alive is the Hostage. Now that would be sending another good message.

How weak we must look to the World now. You watch, if they let those scumsucking terrorist go, every lazy assed bum in the Third World will be looking to nab an American or anything with an American flag attached.

Now is the perfect opportunity for Obama to stand up and grow a pair all the while sending a very strong message to the World. The same message Thomas Jefferson sent to the World over 200 years ago.

But no, he’s cowering in a corner of the White House. Next thing you know he’ll be taking a trip to the Somalia coast and apologizing for America’s actions in Africa. Then he wonders why crap like this goes on!

Then, as if that isn’t bad enough, Moats gets into an argument with the Cop and keeps trying to talk over him, after refusing to stop when the Cop put his lights on him. Then Moats lies about having insurance. Only after the Cop threatens to have his car towed does Moats miraculously finds his Insurance card.

Two things surprised me about this. One is the sympathy some people is feeling for Moats. Not because of his MIL, but because he was stopped by the Dallas PD for driving reckless. It’s the Cop’s fault! The Cop made him run red lights and stop signs while driving at a high rate of speed!

Of course, those same ones would be wanting to lynch the Cop if he had let Moats go and Moats had T-boned a car with their family members inside, or hit one of the family members while racing down those streets.

None of the responsiblility lies with Moats I guess. Not the fact that he wasn’t at the Hospital to begin with, not the fact that he refused to pull over after the Cop put the lights on him, not the fact that he ran a red light and stop sign, nor the fact that he got into an argument with the Cop at the Hospital and then lied to him.

I doubt this would have even been an issue if Moats had simply stopped, got out calmly and explained that he was taking his Wife to see her dying mother at the Hospital. But since he didn’t so any of those things, it’s the Cops fault.

Could the Cop had handled this in a different manner? Sure, he probably handled it a little different. But at the end of the day, Moats cost his self more time by lying, arguing and failing to stop. The Cop was just doing his job.

The other thing that surprises me is the action of the Dallas Police Chief. A real class act throwing one of your Officers under the bus. No wonder this jerk has little respect from the Men and Women who serve under him. If anyone should be fired, it’s the Police Chief. Instead of thinking of his own Political career, he should have his Officers back and take up for them when they’re doing the job they were hired to do.

As the CEO of this business that employs 140 people, I have accepted the fact that Barack Obama is our new President, and that our taxes and government fees will now increase in a BIG way.

To compensate for this additional overhead, I figure that the clients will have to see an increase in our fees of about 8% but since we cannot raise those prices right now due to the dismal state of our economy, we will have to lay off several of our employees Instead. This unfortunate economic reality has really been eating at me for a while, as we believe we are family here and I didn’t know how to choose who will have to go.

After giving it considerable thought, this is what I did. I strolled thru our parking lot and found 11 Obama bumper stickers on our employees’ cars and have decided these folks will be the first to be laid off. I can’t think of a more fair way to approach this problem.

They wanted change; I gave it to them.

Illegal aliens will benefit from the Stimulus Package also. How you ask? Previously, before you hired someone, you had to verify their resident status through the Government E-Verify system. This would tell an employer whether or not the person was a citizen or not. However, this requirement for employers to use this system was removed with the Bill by the Democrats and Obama as a payback to the Spanish groups that helped turn out the Spanish vote for Obama.

A cool 15% of jobs in the Construction field alone are expected to be taken by illegal aliens now that the requirement for employers to use the E-Verify system has been removed. And this is just in the Construction field!

Plus, Obama admits that the additional $140 billion he wants is also filled with Pork Projects, but he’s “willing” to live with it even after he said during the Campaign he would not support such Bills. More paybacks to the Minorities and Special Interest who helped get him elected.

Obama’s Economic Adviser, Robert Reich says Professionals and White Males Need Not Apply

Have you heard this yet? Apparently there is no place for Professionals or White Males in Obama’s economic plan and none of the Stimulus money should go to them if they’re working in Construction and other fields.

What would have happened if a Republican or Conservative adviser to Bush had said something like this about Minorities? You know exactly what would have happened. But the Media is doing a good job of brushing this under the rug.

You see, it’s not about the jobs going to the most qualified people, for Obama and the Democrats, it’s all about the jobs going to Minnorities so they can keep them coming back voting. Just think, it’s these people that will be chosen based solely on their skin color that will be building the roads, bridges and other infrastructure you and your family use everyday, not the most qualified people regardless of the color of their skin.

Well, this Stimulus Plan is nothing more than the same old, same old Democrats tax and spend strategy. It’s full of pork barrel projects aimed at paying back those who contributed to the Democrats election efforts as well as those of Obama’s.

Can we all agree that this Stimulus Plan of the Democrats and Obama is suppose to create jobs and get the economy back on track? Yes? Good.

Since we agree on that, let’s take a look at some of the provisions in this Stimulus package.

By the way, the Wall Street Journal estimates that only 12 cents out of every dollar in the Plan will actually create jobs and improve the economy.

For starters, there’s 1 Billion, yes BILLION with a B, for Amtrack. This service hasn’t turned a profit in nearly 4 decades. How is this going to stimulate the economy and create jobs? Oh, that’s right, most everyone who works there are Union. Payback to the Public Workers Union.

2 Billion for Child Care subsidies. Guess who qualifies for these?

50 Million for the National Endowment of the Arts. Yes, that’s not a misprint. How is this going to create jobs and stimulate the economy?

Here’s another good one. $400 million for Global Warming research and 2.4 Billion for Carbon Capture Demonstration projects. Payback to the Greenies and Tree Huggers.

650 Million for Digital TV Conversion coupons on top of the Billions already spent on this. I guess all those workers that are going to get new jobs need some R&R after coming home.

Less than 90 Billion is earmarked for projects that will actually help create jobs and stimulate the economy. Projects like fixing bridges and highway construction, improvements to electricl and broadband grids.

A huge portion goes to Public Mass Transit. More paybacks to Public Worker Unions for their support and capaign contributions.

Also 83 BILLION dollars of the the Stimulus Package will extend Income Tax Creditand benefits to those who do not pay taxes. IE; Welfare Recipients and Illegal Aliens among others! Now there’s your tax dollars at work!

10 Billion will go to buy more new cars for the Federal Government and “modernizing” federal buildings. Can’t wait for the flood of jobs this will create!

6 BILLION will go to education projects, but there’s one catch. The Stimulus Plan states “No recipient . . . shall use such funds to provide financial assistance to students to attend private elementary or secondary schools”

Ouch! Big payback for the Teachers Union and NEA.  Can’t have those kids going to private school and learning more than Johnny who’s stuck in a Public School surrounded by Liberal Idiots!

Oh, last but certainly not least, there’s the provision for Sexual Transmitted Disease Kits. I guess if we’re going to get screwed, at least they’ll tell us how to deal with any of the nasties we might get from them.

Okay all you Obama supporters. You wanted change, you got it. This bill will cost us an additional 340+ Billion in interest…if we pay it off by 2020! Now what do you think the chances are that we’ll have it paid off by then? No, this is nothing more than a Democrat wish list and everyone wonders why the Republicans are fighting it.

This country has never spent it’s way out of tough times, yet Obama and his loyal band of Democrats want to try every chance they get. It’s how they’ve operated for a long time.

It’s all about the Ice Cream

The most eye-opening civics lesson I ever had was while teaching third grade. The presidential election was heating up and some of the children showed an interest. I decided we would have an election for a class president. We would choose our nominees. They would make a campaign speech and the class would vote.

To simplify the process, candidates were nominated by other class members. We discussed what kinds of characteristics these students should have. We got many nominations and from those, Jamie and Olivia were picked to run for the top spot.

The class had done a great job in their selections. Both candidates were good kids. I thought Jamie might have an advantage because he got lots of parental support. I had never seen Olivia’s mother.

The day arrived when they were to make their speeches Jamie went first. He had specific ideas about how to make our class a better place. He ended by promising to do his very best. Every one applauded.

He sat down and Olivia came to the podium. Her speech was concise. She said, “If you will vote for me, I will give you ice cream.” She sat down. The class went wild. “Yes! Yes! We want ice cream.”

She surely would say more. She did not have to. A discussion followed. How did she plan to pay for the ice cream? She wasn’t sure. Would her parents buy it or would the class pay for it. She didn’t know.

The class really didn’t care. All they were thinking about was ice cream. Jamie was forgotten. Olivia won by a land slide.

Every time Barack Obama opens his mouth he offers ice cream, and fifty percent of America reacts like nine year olds. They want ice cream. The other fifty percent know they’re going to have to feed the cow.

Yep, I think many of us will be milking a lot of Cows over the next 4 years paying for all that free ice cream. He wasn’t joking when he said he was going to spread the wealth around. What’s going to be funny is when he starts spreading the wealth of those who voted for him around!

For those that do not know, Proposition 8 in California amends the Constitution to define marriage as a union between a Man and Woman.

Yeah, I know. It’s a sad state when a State or Country has to have an Amendment to define what marriage is. Pretty soon, we’ll have to have one to defince what S*x is. Oh wait, didn’t Bill Clinton already do that?

So the Gay and Lesbian community is wanting to boycott the State of Utah because they feel that the Mormons were the reason they lost.

I’m sure it couldn’t be because most people find their life style immoral and disgusting. Surely not. Yep, it had to be the Mormons!

But notice they don’t want to boycott anything in California. Just Utah. Apparently Utah has this magical power of people in California. Or at least that is what the Gay and Lesbian groups would like you to believe.

And this from a group of people who run around telling us to be “tolerant” of others. They’re all for tolerant and diversity as long as it suits them. But the minute that someone disagrees with them, you see what happens. Suddenly they’ve been “wronged” or their “rights” have been taken away.

Puhhleeez!

Someone needs to explain to them they have the same rights as you and me. Nothing more and nothing less. What they really want is for Government to recognize their immoral behaviour and reward them for it by accepting such behaviour as normal. Which, as we all know, it isn’t.

Back to the boycott. It seems that they are urging everyone to stay away from anything that has to do with Utah. That’s cool with me and I’m sure it is with the Mormons. It means there will be fewer people on the slopes skiing into trees.

So I would like to encourage everyone who agrees that a marriage is defined as a union between a Man and Woman to visit Utah soon. It’s a beutiful state with some of the best Skiing anyplace. The people are friendly and hospitable. There are a ton of others things to do and the State if full of History.

Go tell all your friends that you know to vacation in Utah this Winter. If have a blog or website, tell your readers to visit Utah as well.

Let’s show the people of Utah that we do agree with the Mormons message about what a marriage is about. The best way we can support the people of Utah is by visiting their state. The Gay and Lesbians want to boycott Utah (for some stupid reason, they still believe Utah put a “curse” or something on them) because the Mormons are headquartered there. Like that makes a lot of sense!

Anyhow, I’m thinking we all can get more people to go to Utah than they can keep away from Utah!

Some time ago, Dallas did a survey and asked what the street currently named ‘Industrial Blvd’ should be renamed to.

The local Hispanics wanted it named to Cesar Chavez Avenue.

Quite understandably, the Dallas City Officials said “Ummm…No”.

Once again, the Hispanics are up in arms over some wrong they believe has been done to them. Personally, if you really want a street name ‘Cesar Chavez Avenue’, you should just pick one of those litty dirty streets in anyone of those little dirty Mexico border towns, throw up a piece of scrap plywood and spray paint ‘Cesar Chavez Avenue’ on it. That’s about what the name is worth.

I don’t blame Dallas city officials not wanting to put some crap like that on a city street. Especially in an industrial section of town where you’re working hard and spending taxpayer money to improve its image to bring in more business.

The Hispanics have started a task force called the Cesar Chavez Task Force. It’s leader, Alberto Ruiz said this about the City’s decision

“If the results would have come back for Stevie Ray Vaughan, it would have gone through,”

Well DUH! Hell yeah!

I’m sorry, but if I spend 2 BILLION dollars to clean up a crap hole, then I wouldn’t want a crap hole name on it either. It looks like the Dallas city officials have made good on this decision about renaming this street along the Trinity River revitilaztion project, now lets see if they cave like spindless jelly fish!

Joe The Plumber Actually Gets It

I read this interview on Family Security Matters with Joe. He’s you’re average guy in America. He works toward the American dream. And what’s so special about him is that he actually knows what the American Dream is, unlike so many Obama supporters.

He also sees past the crap that Obama dishes out. Again, unlike many Americans.

Main Stream Media Jumps on Joe The Plumber

Now it seems that the main stream media has a new target and his name is Joe The Plumber. How dare an Average Joe (no pun intended) question the Obamesiah about his plans for America, thus exposing his Socialist plans for America. The same plans the main stream media has worked so hard to keep the lid on.

Now they’ve dug up that Joe owes some back taxes. Is it any wonder why he’s worried about Obama’s tax increase? There are many small businesses who owe back taxes, myself being one of them. You make payments and pay them as you can. Simple as that.

The fact that Joe The Plumber owes back taxes actually gives his plight more creditbility.

The bashing doesn’t stop with the media either. Everyone from Obama hisself down to the late night talk show host have pounced on Joe. Obama’s remarks at a rally was “How many plumbers do you know who make $250,000?” Ummm, actually Obama, I know many small business owners with just a few employees that gross over $250,000. This is why Obama’s Socialist plan is so scary.

As for the late night talk show host like Letterman and Leno, well it’s no secret that they’re Liberals with an audience. They’ve never tried to hide it so I guess it was expected for them to show their true colors.

I’m betting that more of Obama’s Socialist views are uncovered between now and election time. I’m also betting his handlers will keep Joe the Plumber’s from asking him anymore simple questions!

On a lighter note, has anyone seen President Obama and the Filipino Clone? The resemblence is scary! It makes you wonder if some secret agency has been cloning humans for a long time. That would explain a lot about Obama’s past!

Today, Sarah Palin was critisized when she mentioned Obama’s ties to a known terrorist and money man, William Ayers. She actually got part of her story from the New York Times article about the connection between Obama and Ayers.

As you can imagine, the Obama campaign is sidestepping this issue and trying to accuse the McCain campaign as initiating a smear tactic. Which is pretty normal when a politician doesn’t want to talk about something that is probably true.

Another thing that has been nagging me for quite sometime is Obama’s fierce denial of making public some of his thesis work at Columbia and Harvard. In fact, he has went as far as flat out prohibiting either University from releasing his thesis work. He also will not release other documents from his college years.

Hmmm…why?

Is it because there would be something in those papers that Americans wouldn’t like? Probably so if you follow Obama’s radical past.

FOX airs Hannity’s America tonight. Sean goes into great detail putting the whole puzzle about Obama’s shady past into focus. As you can see, if you watched all the video’s, Barack Hussein Obama has some explaining to do to the American public. But does the American public really care? Or do they only care about what one party or the other promises them?

It’s funny. I’ve talked to several people who have told me that they wouldn’t be surprised if Obama was a muslim extremist sleeper. After watching this set of video’s, I wouldn’t be surprised either.

Here are some reflections over the past week since Hurricane Ike made landfall.

First off, what was up with the forecasting of this storm? The local and national “experts” really got this one wrong. Still, not many are fessing up to the fact, most weather people are just making excuses.

Second, what the hell was the problem with you people who thought Hurricane Ike would turn away from the Galveston and Houston areas just because Rita did 3 years ago? I could not believe the people who were saying “Hurricane Rita missed us at the last minute, Ike will do the same thing.”

What a totally stupid assumption!

Next, you people who were caught without gas, water and food after the storm. How many days notice do you actually need before you prepare? Unless you are an invalid or otherwise incapable of getting out of your house, you were fully warned that there was a good chance that Hurricane Ike would hit the upper Texas Coast. Every media outlet I listened to or watched told you to get out and stock up on food, water, gas and other necessities.

Yet, you didn’t. Instead you called the local radio and TV stations complaining that FEMA wasn’t acting fast enough and you didn’t have food, water, gas or ice.

Here’s a news flash for many of you. The Federal, State or Local Governments owe you NOTHING! Get off your asses and do a little preparing. You live on the Texas Coast, where there has been a HISTORY of Hurricanes in the past. As the saying goes, if you wait for the Government to take care of your sorry ass, you’re going to be disappointed.

If you people really want someone to blame because you had no food at home, no gas in your car or for your generator, go look in the mirror for the person responsible for not having what you needed.

I took a brief look myself in the mirror Saturday night when it was freakin’ hot and I had no generator. I’d put it off for years and only have myself to blame for not having one. Otherwise, I had all the other things I needed and then some.

What is up with the whining about standing in line or waiting for a couple hours for food, water, ice or gas?

I mean, a lot of the same people whining about having to wait in line are the very same ones who brag about camping out in line for an iPhone or Hanna Montana tickets! Be prepared next time!

As I drove around the North side of Houston or in the Woodlands or Conroe, I was surprised at how long the lines were at the PODS or Gas Stations. I couldn’t believe there were so many people not prepared for this storm with the basic necessities.

If you waited in a line for food, water, gas or ice, you should have come to the realization of just how “free” you really are. I include myself in this group of people as I had to wait about 30 minutes for gas in Spring on Thursday as my stash was running low. I should have put more back and drove around less.  Lesson learned.

What if this had been a Terrorist attack that seriously affected the availability of fuel? There’d be a lot of vehicles on the road sitting empty!

A few things I saw and didn’t see in Hurricane Ike’s aftermath.

As I drove around rural Montgomery County checking on friends, I didn’t see a bunch of people sitting on their butts waiting for FEMA or the Red Cross to come and save them. They were out cleaning up as soon as Saturday afternoon.

I saw neighbors helping neighbors. Clearing yards, sharing power from a generator, sharing food and water with those who could not get out.

I saw people cooking everything in their defrosting freezers and inviting everyone over to eat.

I saw Utility Companies from all over coming to help Texans. I personally saw trucks and crews from Delaware, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Canada and New Mexico. God Bless those folks.

A big Texas Shout Out goes to crews from the Henckels & McCoy from Blue Bell, PA who worked long hours in our area to get our power back on. There was a lot of damage and these people stayed at it from sunup to sundown for several days. Thank you guys!

Another Shout Out to the crew of Mormons from College Station who stopped by and helped clean up the downed trees in my Yard and didn’t charge me a dime. It would have taken me and my Wife weeks to clean up this land! I hope God Blesses you and your families beyond your imagination!

I heard a woman call into a TV show and rake a Center Point PR person over the coals because her 85 year old mother was still without power and “she needed it desperately” according to the caller. When the Host asked her if she had power, she replied “Yes, but it’s my Mother who needs it.”

The Host replied “Well, why don’t you go get your Mother so she can stay with you until she gets power back on” DUH!

I saw a lot of common sense go out the window after Hurricane Ike.

I saw a women today in a local store complaining that she was without food, water and power for days and couldn’t afford a generator or extra food. This was while she was buying $30 worth of Lottery tickets.

I saw some people turn their noses up at the hot meals given out in The Woodlands and elsewhere. I heard about people complaining that some of the MRE’s didn’t “taste” that good and that FEMA and/or the Red Cross should have a better tasting alternative.

You ungrateful people deserve nothing! Go a few more days without food and those meals will be a freakin’ delicacy. The problem is, those complaining didn’t get hungry enough! They also need to stop and realize that we have Men and Women in Iraq and Afghanistan that eat MRE’s nearly every day, sometimes 2 and 3 times a day.

I was honestly shocked by the amount of ungratefulness and inconsiderate actions I saw during the aftermath of Hurricane Ike.

I heard several Customers complaining to the manager or owner of the Shell station at Hwy 105 and the West Loop 336 in Conroe after he opened without any power just so people could get a few things they needed. People were complaining that he should have been on generator power, that he should have had a working credit card machine, that he was price gouging. I stop there frequently and his prices hadn’t changed one bit. But the Customers were so ungrateful, he decided to close early.

I saw the same thing time and time again, especially early in the week.  I heard people complaining that the BBQ Hut in Magnolia was only serving Hot Chopped Beef Sandwiches and Chips on Sunday. Hell, most of the people who were complaining probably hadn’t had a hot meal since Friday night! Hey, you didn’t have to stop there and he didn’t have to open up on generator power! You ungrateful morons! I’m not crazy about Chopped Beef BBQ, but I was more than happy to get something hot to eat, I bought two!

Just as with the Government, Store Owners don’t OWE you squat! The don’t have to open so that you can get water, food or gas.

Lessons Learned from Hurricane Ike

I learned that we as humans still have some compassion for our fellow man but that many more think the Government and others OWE them something. Why they believe this is beyond me.

I re-learned how a simple pleasure like a hot can of Chili cooked over an open fire can lift anyones spirits.

I re-learned how great it is just to enjoy the peace and quiet of the early morning (after everyones generators ran out of fuel…lol)

I learned that I wasn’t as prepared as I thought I was. I found out quickly the weaknesses in my survival plan. Those weaknesses will be worked on the the upcoming months!

I learned that no matter how many times some people are told to prepare for an approaching storm, they won’t do it. Then they complain at the top of their lungs when they have no food or water afterwards.

I re-learned that Weathermen and women really can’t predict squat when it comes right down to it.

After clearing brush for a week, I learned that my 40 something body does not heal as quickly as it did at 20.

I learned that my Wife believes Peas and Corn is the only thing that comes in cans. Glad I did some of the survival preparation shopping!

At the very least, this should be a huge wake up call to the people that not only live here on the Coast, but everywhere. You can’t be prepared enough! I shudder to think what would happen if feul was not available for a week or more. Many folks couldn’t deal with this!

3 days of food and water isn’t enough. 2 weeks worth of food, water and fuel should be the minimum.

My heart goes out to everyone on the Bolivar Peninsula. I’m wondering what happened to the people who lived in the Crystal Beach subdivisions where we rented Beach Houses. I hope they left before the storm hit.

Well, what Obama and the Democrats aren’t telling anyone is that Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden is a, c’mon…guess it…YOU”RE RIGHT…A DC LOBBYIST!

A very well paid lobbyist at that. To the tune of 1 million dollars plus per year!

Yes, Obama and Joe are trying to keep Hunter Biden under cover. It’s been suggested that Joe even helped get his Son name president of a hedge fun just so Hunter wouldn’t be a liability during this Presidential election.

Now, Joe’s son Hunter and Joe’s Brother are involved in a lawsuit with the hedge fund founder. The found is saying that Hunter Biden and Joe Biden’s brother took him for millions of dollars. The Biden’s say that guy is wrong and that he didn’t know that much about hedge funds. Go figure.

But Hunter has also been real busy when he was a consulting lobbyist to a drug company. All the while daddy Joe was involved with legistlation concerning…drugs. Hmmmm

It’s also very interesting that on the Biden campaign website that list Hunter as a “lawyer”, not a lobbyist. Of course, that would be hard to own up to seeing how both Obama and Joe Biden have made speeches saying they will throw the lobbyist out of D.C. if they get elected? Perhaps Joe Biden has another job lined up for his son that he’s not telling anyone about?

Did anyone see Joe Biden stutter on stage at the DNC?

I found it funny he was telling everyone how proud of Beau he was then he stuttered and said “I’m proud of both my sons”. Now see Hunter, how fast Family will throw you under the bus when it suits their needs?

While the Dems make a big deal about Palin’s pregnant 17 year old daughter, why aren’t they making an even bigger stink about the actions of Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden? Yeah, that’s what I thought also!

Also, Sarah didn’t try to hide her daughter the way Joe Biden tried to get his Son a “real” job to hide the fact that he’s a D.C. insider lobbying for the highest bidder.

If Obama had been as tough as he said on lobbyist, he would have never picked Joe Biden in the first place!

I’m Voting Democrat this year and here’s why.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe oil companies’ profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn’t.

I’m voting Democrat because freedom of speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.

I’m voting Democrat because when we pull out of Iraq I trust that the bad guys will stop what they’re doing because they now think we’re good people.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe that people who can’t tell us if it will rain on Friday CAN tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don’t start driving a Prius.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe discussing Christ in our schools is offensive but atheism, Islam, Buddhism, Occultism & any other religion is OK because these religions are peaceful & Christians are warlike.

I’m voting Democrat because I’m not concerned about the slaughter of millions of babies so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as THEY see fit.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe three or four pointy headed elitist liberals need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would NEVER get their agendas past the voters.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe that when the terrorists don’t have to hide from us over there, when they come over here I don’t want to have any guns in the house to fight them off with.

I’m voting Democrat because I love the fact that I can now marry whatever I want. I’ve decided to marry my horse. My neighbor is going to marry his dog. They are of the same sex, so it’s ok.

So now you have it. There’s only one logical choice for President this year!

See. Told you it was a simple, logical answer. Vote Obama and all our concerns and problems will vanish January 20th, 2009. The World will become an instant Utopia.
