今日我從主耶穌領受的主題是: 神在2025年給你一個新的開始!

新年快樂!

今天我們用聖經最先的一句開始: 起初神創造

我祈盼神使今天，新年的第一天一個新的開始，帶給你一個新的信仰根基，使你經歷耶穌是你的主，你的王，祂是萬主之主，萬王之王!

當神說我們是依照祂的形象被造而我們是可以管理萬物的時候，我們忽略了一個很重要的一點，就是神從來沒有說我們可以主宰其他人，神是唯一的主宰!

神創造人是要我們彼此相愛，享受合一和詣的關係，使我們在地有若在天。但人類的歷史卻告訴我們每個人都想做神，坐在神的坐位上去作判官，控制其他人的實况，這真是人類悲慘可憐的故事!

這個活得不像神的生活形態使我們摧毀了神創造的美善，人活在 "係我話嘅"而不是 "係神話嘅"自我為主為王的可憐光景中而不自知!

創世記第二章告訴我們當神吹氣入亞當的鼻孔，亞當就成為有靈魂的活人，這是多麼和諧美麗的神與人的關係! 人類的始祖，亞當及夏娃在伊甸園和神及萬物享受著和詣的關係，締造出一個很美善的世界，一個新的開始!

今日的詩篇第一篇就是教導我們一個有神的同在的必勝生命，聽神話去做祂要我們去做的，不做祂要我們不做的人生法則，生活形態 (lifestyle)，因為這正是三位一體的神指引我們與祂同步同行當走的路，亦是魔鬼撒但用盡一切方法引誘我們踏進的萬刧不復的陷阱!

親愛的主耶穌,

求你使我們在2025年有一個新的開始，與神同步同行，活像基督，使神美善的創造來到我們的生命中，求你祝福我們，使用我們去使更多的人得著這新一年充滿著新的開始之祝福，奉主耶穌基督名求，阿們。

親愛主教:

我是陳永萍細佬陳永安，兩年前，我家姐向我傳福音，將你每天親親爸父早午禱傳給我，主感動我，我每天以你的講道，成為禱告，幾個月後，收到壞消息，患上前列腺癌，擴散到淋巴和骨，家姐得知問我信唔信耶穌，我深信主會醫治我的病，我信，她立刻同我決志信主。

這年幾多，打針，食標靶藥，當然有痛苦經歷，但我依靠主，不住禱告，念經文，每次都安然渡過，感謝主，癌細胞如同正常人，實在感恩，我家在沙田，家姐帶我去一城浸信會，我參加崇拜，團契，修讀幼苗成長課程，經過牧師同意，可以上冼禮班，將會在四月中冼禮啦，成為真正的基督徒。

我亦有將主教早午禱傳給妹妹和哥哥，他們都有願意的心去聆聽，希望主感動他們。

再次多謝主教傳達訊息，讓我每天都有靈修時間學習親近主，接近主。

求主保守看顧加拿大聖公會主教及各弟兄姊妹身體健康，一生一世必有恩惠，願主祝福你們。

多謝你在香港為我按手醫治祈祷，當時我癌細胞指數由6度升到31度，最近睇醫生，驗血報告癌指數降至12度，感謝神的恩典藉著主教醫治，亦聴主教講，聴他的話，在九月中團契，將會講得救見証，希望在香港再見主教，師母共聚午餐，感謝主，萍姐，麻煩你send 比主教。謝謝

Anglican Mission in Canada and Richmond Emmanuel Church have launched MISSION 113 Campaign starting January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2026. We have received the baton from Archbishop Yong to continuous the call His Grace received in 1993 to bring more souls to God's eternal Kingdom! Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time to Jesus as you listen to him.

My Listening

The topic I received today from Jesus is: God gives you a new beginning in 2025!

Happy New Year!

Today we start the first Word of the Bible - In the beginning God created. I pray that God will make today a new beginning for you on this New Year Day bringing you to a new ground of believing and experiencing that Jesus is your Lord and King, He is Lord of lords and King of kings.

When God said we would be created in his own image and likeness and that we could rule over things, we miss something really important! God never said that we should rule over each other. Human beings are being created to love one other and live in unity to make heaven on earth. But the history of mankind shows the pain of our trying to be God, sitting on God's throne to judge and rule other people.

In this non-Godly lifestyle, we have been destroying the goodness of God's creation! Everything is "I said" but not "God said"!

And, God formed us and breathed into our nostrils the breath of life so that we become a living being. How harmonious and relational it was, as described in Genesis 2!

It was all so good! Beautiful and living scenes everywhere and Adam living in harmony with all living creatures. The only thing God saw as no good is loneliness and God created a helper, companion, a wife for Adam.

I see each breath that Adam and Eve took was a holy breath, enjoying the wonder of creation and the harmony of living together to make a better world, a new beginning!

But, as we can see in today' Psalm 1.

Psalm 1:1 teaches us a sure win way for life, a sure win way for this new year and for every year. Because that is the way of our Triune God! And, that's how Satan wants to try all his best to kick us out of this way from our Triune God!

Jesus tells me that Satan wants to try all his best to forbid us not being able to walk in step with God, instead we walk in step with the wicked!

The consequence is that we stand in the way sinners take!

Let's have a new beginning to follow what God said and walk in step with God to lead a life of Christlikeness so as to bring goodness to God's creation.

Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank you for creating us in your own likeness and breath in us that we become a living being, your holy children. Help us to listen more carefully to what you said and not rule over others but to be under your Lordship to follow you and to walk with you that we can be fruitful. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

2. What is your next step to be more closer to Jesus, to be holy - that is to do what Jesus wants you to do and not to do what Jesus wants you not to do?

My Listening

The topic I received today from Jesus is: Praise the Lord!

Today is the last day of 2024, let us praise the Lord for this year!

Well, this year as well as the past almost five years has been quite difficult for lots of people, the pandemic, natural disasters, war, high interest rate and economic downhill has brought severe suffering to a lot of people.

But, we need to give thanks to the Lord and praise Him because it gives an opportunity for us as human beings to understand how helpless and lonely we can be when we are out of control!

We really need to ask Jesus to help us and to hand over the lordship to Him. He is Lord of lords and King of kings!

Let us learn from Psalm 150 that what we need to do as children of God is to use everything we can to praise Him, singing, dancing and all kinds of musical instruments. We praise Him and worship Him each day with angels and Archangels in His Holy Temple, especially in 2025!

Dear Lord Jesus,

We give thanks to you for your presence in 2024. Move our hearts to love you more and be with you more, singing praises to you more each day in 2025 that we will be crowned with victory. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

我的聆聽

今日我從主耶穌領受的主題是: 親親爸父，唱詩歌頌!

因為在過去四年多的疫情中，我學到最大的功課就是從主耶穌吩咐我每天在廣東話及英語的錄影中都唱詩歌頌主中幫助很多人得着無比的釋放，安慰和力量，更重要的是經歷神的同在!

四年前和孫女伍穌怡ZOE玩一個Board Game(紙版遊戲)，每行一步要答一個分享的問題，增加彼此的認識。她選到一張咭的問題是: 你發怒時會做甚麼?

ZOE答, "When I am angry, I will worship ! 當我發怒時，我會唱詩歌頌敬拜主!"

這是因為她從出世開始至當時五歲，我們的兒子伍因信牧師及媳婦Anna每天在家他們三個人都有幾次唱詩歌頌敬拜主的時間，我們住在他們樓上，經常聽到ZOE大聲唱詩歌頌讚美主大聲歡呼喜樂的聲音，所以她學到解決憤怒，不安及不開心的最好方法就是唱詩歌頌敬拜主!

詩篇全卷150篇在昔日至現在猶太人的傳統都是唱出來讚美主的，所以每天用唱詩歌頌去敬拜主必然為大家帶來一個更甜蜜的親親爸父經歷!

讓我們從今日的詩篇 149:1-5中，明白當我們用盡一切方法，唱歌，跳舞，擊鼓，彈琴敬拜主時，主會喜悅我們，詩篇 149:4 "他要用救恩當作謙卑人的妝飾 "， NIV版是 "Crowns the humble with victory"，即是唱詩歌頌去敬拜主就是謙卑緊靠主的人，他會使我們得勝，並賜我們勝利的冠冕!

是的，今天主耶穌正如昨天一樣再一次告訴你，與他相近讚美他的，必大大得力!

親愛的主耶穌,

求你感動激勵我們的心去愛你，每天很渴望有多些時間親近你，多些唱歌讚美你，使我們能大大得力得勝，得着你賜我們勝利的冠冕，奉主耶穌基督名求，阿們。

Psalm 149:1-5

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time to Jesus as you listen to him.

My Listening

The topic I received today from Jesus is: Time with Abba, Singing Praising!

The most important thing I learn in the past four years in the midst of the pandemic is that the importance of Singing and Praising and how our Lord Jesus Christ to command me to have videos each day in Cantonese and English to help people to sing and praise God each day to experience His comfort and strength. Most important, His daily presence!

Four years ago when our granddaughter Zoe, Michelle and I were playing a Board Game together, the card she got is to answer a question:

What do you do when you are angry?

ZOE answered, "When I am angry, I worship! "

Wow! What a surprise!

Because starting when Zoe was born until now, our son Ignatius and his wife Anna have Time with Abba each morning with Zoe and we always could listen to their songs of praise loudly. That's how Zoe learned the best way to solve her uncomfortable feeling or even anger is to sing praises to God!

All 150 Psalms according to Jewish tradition are songs of praise and for Jews to sing, not to read. May we understand what it means in today's Psalm 149:1-5 that when we use all we have to sing, dance, playing drums, trumpets and everything to praise God, God will be delighted!

And, according to Psalm 149:4 "Crowns the humble with victory" meaning God will reward us with a crown, a crown of victory. Wow! When we praise God in all circumstances, even in distress and calamity, we will experience victory!

Do you believe that will happen to you?

Yes, Jesus is telling you this just as He tells you through Psalm 148: 14,

"those who are close to His heart praising Him and worshipping Him each day will be strengthened! "

Dear Lord Jesus,

Stir up our hearts to love you more and to be close to your heart more each day to sing praises to you more that we can be strengthened by you and you will give us the crown of victory. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

  Reflect on these questions:
1. What inspiration have you received from today's catch and what have you heard from Jesus now?

2. What is your next step to be more closer to Jesus, to be holy - that is to do what Jesus wants you to do and not to do what Jesus wants you not to do?

我的聆聽

今日我從主耶穌領受的主題是: 與主相近讚美他的，必大大得力!

詩篇 148:14的 "將他百姓的角高舉"就是使他百姓大大得力的意思。

我們都想得到主賜力量能彰顯主的榮美，很多人認為是很困難的事，詩篇148篇告訴我們原來這並不困難，祇要做到一件事就可以重新得力了。

這一件每天都要在生命中活出來的就是與主相近，與主相近的人就會大大得力，NIV是 "the people close to his heart"，就是相近到接近他的心，和主有心心相印的親蜜關係。

怎樣能進入此關係呢? 每天很渴望有多些時間親近主，多些唱歌讚美主。

怎樣知道你有此關係呢? 每天有如對着愛人唱情歌的讚美他，就是真正的心心相印!

是的，今天主耶穌告訴你，與他相近讚美他的，必大大得力!

親愛的主耶穌,

求你感動激勵我們的心去愛你，每天很渴望有多些時間親近你，多些唱歌讚美你，使我們能大大得力，奉主耶穌基督名求，阿們。

My Listening

The topic I received today from Jesus is: All His faithful people will be strengthened!

The meaning of Psalm 148:14 "And he has raised up for his people a horn" is that God is going to strengthen His faithful people with mighty power like the sounding of a horn, a trumpet.

We want to be strengthened in this way that we can show forth God's glory. But, many people think it is too difficult! Today's Psalm tells us that it is not difficult at all. What we need to do is only one thing.

And, this one thing that we need to live out is to be close to the Lord each day because those who are close to the Lord will be strengthened.

NIV version is "the people close to his heart"! And that is as close as we can have an intimate relationship with God!

How can we enter into this relationship?

Well, that's the purpose of this blog and it is to lead more people to have more time to be close to the Lord and to sing praises to Him each day. Just like a lover sing love songs to his or her loved one. And, that is how "close to his heart" really means!

Yes, Jesus wants to tell you that those who are close to His heart praising Him and worshipping Him each day will be strengthened!

Dear Lord Jesus,

Stir up our hearts to love you more and to be close to your heart more each day that we can be strengthened by you each day. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

啓示錄19章預言神消滅魔鬼的一切在世上迷惑眾人的時間到了，神出手打敗了獸和地上行惡的君王!

就在那時，看見天上二十四位長老及眾天使天軍歡呼讚美的景像，因全能者作王了!

而地上蒙恩得穿光明潔白的細麻衣，過聖潔生活的聖徒因預備好了，也得以進入這榮耀的時刻，赴羔羊之婚筵!

親愛的主耶穌,

(Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.)

9 Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true words of God.”

Revelation 19:5-9

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time to Jesus as you listen to him.

My Listening

The topic I received from Jesus is: Make yourself holy to the wedding supper of the Lamb!

Revelation 19 prophesies the time has come for God to take out all kinds of wicked and deceiving works of Satan.

We can see the glorious scene in heaven that the twenty-four elders, the four living creatures and angels and archangels worshipping God, the King of kings and Lord of lords!

And, those who have been blessed to wear the bright and clean fine linens children of God are ready to enter into that glorious moment, to the wedding supper of the Lamb.

If the time really has come now, are you ready?

Dear Lord Jesus,

Help us to be ready to wear that bright and clean fine linens that we are ready to your wedding supper. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

我的聆聽

昨日我從主耶穌領受的主題是從撒迦利亞書 9:8-9而來的: 我必在我家的四圍安營，因為我親眼看顧我的家!

今日我從主耶穌領受的主題是從詩篇 147:12-14而來的: 主堅固你的門閂，賜福給你的家!

我深深在今天感受到的是這二天天父給我們在這似乎被千軍萬馬的各種災難攻擊的黑暗中應許我們，如果我們願意從罪中回轉，真正以耶穌為一家之主，無論你的家現在祇有你一個人，又或者好像主耶穌的一家九口，主耶穌對你的應許就是他必在你家的四圍安營，他會堅固你的門閂，他會親眼看顧你的家，賜福給你的家!

你需要做的就是每天等候主的來到，感受他的臨在!

親愛的主耶穌,

感謝你的應許必在我們家的四圍安營，堅固我們的門閂，親眼看顧我們的家，幫助我們進入和你這永恆的關係中，使我們能永遠享受這應許的實現，奉主耶穌基督名求，阿們。

My Listening

The topic I received yesterday from Jesus is: I will encamp at my house as a guard and I see with my own eyes!

The topic I received today from Jesus is: God strengthens the bars of your gates and blesses your people within you!

I deeply believe this is the promise God gives us through the messages of these two days in the midst of this dark world.

It tells us if we are willing to repent and to have Jesus as Lord of our house, He will encamp at your house as a guard because that is also His house. He will see with His own eyes that everything is safe and secure.

What you need to do is to wait for the presence of Jesus each day and to feel His presence, knowing that He will guard you and your house!

Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank you for your promise that you will encamp at our house and to see with your own eyes that we are safe and secure. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

It gives us lots of comfort in this dark time of the world telling us that if we are willing to repent and to have Jesus as Lord of our house, then He will encamp at your house as a guard because that is also His house. He will see with His own eyes that everything is safe and secure.

魔鬼想藉疫情摧毀教會，神卻藉這疫情給我們機會去建立教會，甚至給我們的教會以馬內利堂有一個清楚建造主的殿之藍圖，我們已等候了二十二年，我們在2022年7月成功購買了統一廣場三樓三個單位，2024年一月開始裝修，八月完成，九月開始崇拜，十月夠錢支付所有裝修的開支，我們深知人力是無法可行，無計可施的，我們深信過去三年的經歷完全是主奇妙的供應，奇異的恩典!

你會手裡強壯💪，願意奉獻你的時間，心力與金錢，有份在神必然成就的計劃中嗎?

Our first worship and Consecrating Service on September 8, 2024. Archbishop Meter came to consecrate our new church. Archbishop Masimango joined Archbishop Melter and me to consecrate our new church at the same time through Zoom because he could not be able to receive his Visa to Canada at that time.

We rent the Banquet Hall of Radisson Hotel to have our jointed worship on December 22, 2024 at 10am. and then a Carol singing gala at 2pm , and a refreshment in the Sharing Space of our new church. Another vision accomplished is that our new church can accommodate only 150 people and from now on when we have jointed worship we can have a hall can accommodate more than 250 people or more by renting the Banquet Hall of Radisson Hotel, a five minutes walk from our church by a indoor bridge in 2nd floor of President Plaza. Actually, President Plaza and Radisson Hotel is a twin towers using the same parking place at President Plaza.

The topic I received today from Jesus is: Let your hand be strong so that the Temple may be built!

This is the call Jesus gives you on Christmas Day 2024!

Satan wants to destroy many churches worldwide through the pandemic, but God makes use of this pandemic to give us a diamond opportunity to build up all churches.

Our church, Richmond Emmanuel Church, had been waiting and planning for twenty-two years to purchase our first property to have a permanent home, to enter into the Promised Land God has already prepared for us. We bought that property in July 2022!

And the project was accomplished in September this year!

This is the biggest Christmas gift Jesus gave to our brothers and sisters of Richmond Emmanuel since we started this church in July 1996 and had our first worship on September 8, 1996.

May your hand be strong that the Temple of God may be built!

Dear Lord Jesus,

It is you who call us to join in the team to build your Temple. Help our hands to be strong so that we are willing to take part in your plan to glorify your mighty name. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

10 你要從被擄之人中取黑玳、多比雅、耶大雅的金銀。這三人是從巴比倫來到西番雅的兒子約西亞的家裡。當日你要進他的家，

11 取這金銀做冠冕，戴在約撒答的兒子大祭司約書亞的頭上，

12 對他說，萬軍之耶和華如此說：看哪，那名稱為大衛苗裔的，他要在本處長起來，並要建造耶和華的殿。

13 他要建造耶和華的殿，並擔負尊榮，坐在位上掌王權；又必在位上作祭司，使兩職之間籌定和平。

今日我從主耶穌領受的主題是: 建造主的殿必然成就，你願意有份嗎?

昨天撒迦利亞書 4:1-7 預言猶太人被擄歸回後耶路撒冷聖殿重建之預言，神的眼如何在鑑察着而藉省長所羅巴伯及大祭司耶書亞作為神僕人的合作，激動所有的人都能倚靠聖靈，將會成功地把聖殿重建。

今日的撒迦利亞書 6:9-15告訢我們除了省長所羅巴伯及大祭司耶書亞二位主要的領導者，還有更多領䄂在其中帶領，甚至有遠方的人也被神差派加入建造聖殿的工作，而這事必然成就!

願望眾教會有更多神的僕人興起，更有願意跟隨並聽從他們的人，大家都能倚靠聖靈的帶領，建立教會的工作，必定事成!

感謝主，我們的教會聖公會以馬內利堂在2002年的教友大會通過"為主建聖殿"的議案，經過22年無數的困難，終於在九月開始第一個崇拜，十月底有能力支付所有的開支，真是 "喜得不敢信"(路加福音 24:41)，神恩浩瀚!

親愛的主耶穌,

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time to Jesus as you listen to him.

My Listening

The topic I received from Jesus is: Building God's Temple will happen, are you willing to take part?

Yesterday we read how God's eyes overseeing the team work of Zerubbabel, Joshua and all people of God to trust in the guidance of the Holy Spirit to make things happened.

Today's passage on Zechariah 6:9-15 tells us there were a lot of leaders taking part in this God size project, even some people from far away were being called by God to join in the team to build God's Temple to make that happened!

Jesus commands me to ask you now, "Building God's Temple will happen, with or without you. Are you willing to take part?"

Praise the Lord! The "Building God's Temple" project of Richmond Emmanuel Church completed last month after 22 years of preparation and hardworking. We give thanks to the Lord that numerous faithful servants of Christ have taken part in the "Into the Promised Land" project!

Dear Lord Jesus,

Help us to be able to know that it is you who is calling us to join in the team to build your Temple. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

那與我說話的天使又來叫醒我，好像人睡覺被喚醒一樣。

2 他問我說：你看見了甚麼？我說：我看見了一個純金的燈臺，頂上有盞燈，燈臺上有七盞燈，每盞有七個管子。

3 旁邊有兩棵橄欖樹，一棵在燈盞的右邊，一棵在燈盞的左邊。

4 我問與我說話的天使說：主啊，這是甚麼意思？

5 與我說話的天使回答我說：你不知道這是甚麼意思麼？我說：主啊，我不知道。

今日我從主耶穌領受的主題是: 不是倚靠勢力，不是倚靠才能，乃是倚靠我的靈方能成事!

中國諺語有云: "成事不足，敗事有餘!"

今日撒迦利亞書 4:1-7 是有關以斯拉記5:2及哈該書1:1猶太人被擄歸回後耶路撒冷聖殿重建之預言如何會"成事":

1. 純金的燈臺，七盞燈及七個管子是代表神的眼在鑑察着聖殿重建之事的成就。

2. 燈臺旁的兩棵橄欖樹是以斯拉記5:2及哈該書1:1之預言應驗所羅巴伯作為省長及大祭司耶書亞作為神僕人的合作，帶領被擄歸回耶路撒冷的猶太人成功地把聖殿重建。

3. 而最重要的不是任何人的勢力，有如省長所羅巴伯從政府而來的勢力，也不是大祭司耶書亞從神而來的能力，而是大家都能倚靠聖靈，事就成了!

願望我們每個教會都有神的僕人興起，有如所羅巴伯和耶書亞那樣有不同恩賜而又願意互相合作的心，更有願意跟隨並聽從他們的人，大家都能倚靠聖靈的帶領，建立教會的工作，必定事成!

今天想到主的兩位有如所羅巴伯和耶書亞那様有聖靈恩賜而互相合作在2000年開始一直為主勞苦建立Anglican Mission的楊平忠大主教和Emmanuel Kolini 大主教。楊平忠大主教已在前年2022的昨天(12月22日)返回天家，完成主差派他在地上的工作，在我們懷著哀慟的心不捨得他離開我們的時候，讓我們為大主教的一生愛主，事主愛人感恩。相信今日啓示錄14:13的經文正好為我們帶來天父喜悅楊平忠大主教的服侍，並歡迎他歸家的確據:

我聽見從天上有聲音說：你要寫下：從今以後，在主裡面而死的人有福了！聖靈說：是的，他們息了自己的勞苦，作工的果效也隨著他們。

親愛的主耶穌,

求你使每個教會都有神的僕人興起，更有願意跟隨並聽從他們的人，大家都能倚靠聖靈的帶領，成就主的差派，建立教會，奉主耶穌基督名求，阿們。

Today's key passage:

Then the angel who talked with me returned and woke me up, like someone awakened from sleep. 2 He asked me, “What do you see?”

I answered, “I see a solid gold lampstand with a bowl at the top and seven lamps on it, with seven channels to the lamps. 3 Also there are two olive trees by it, one on the right of the bowl and the other on its left.”

4 I asked the angel who talked with me, “What are these, my lord?”

5 He answered, “Do you not know what these are?”

“No, my lord,” I replied.

6 So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.

7 “What are you, mighty mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become level ground. Then he will bring out the capstone to shouts of ‘God bless it! God bless it!’”

Zechariah 4:1-7

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time to Jesus as you listen to him.

My Listening

The topic I received from Jesus is: Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit!

Today's Zechariah 4:1-7 is about how the prophecy of Ezra 5:2 and Haggai 1:1 about the rebuild of God's Temple being fulfilled:

1. The Gold Lampstand with seven lamps and seven channels to the lamps represent how the seven eyes of God overlooking of the completion of the Temple.

2. The two olive trees represent the prophecy of Ezra 5:2 and Haggai 1:1 being fulfilled of the joint force of Zerubbabel and Joshua to complete the mission.

3. But, the most important is not the mighty power of Zerubbabel, the Governor or Joshua, the High Priest. The reason for them to successfully complete God's mission is because of their relying on the Holy Spirit, then it is done!

May each church raises up God's servants as Zerubbabel and Joshua, full of gifts from the Holy Spirit and be willing to work together as a team. And, may each church raises up leaders and people who are willing to listen to them to trust in the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Then, Mission Accomplished!

Today I am thinking of two faithful servants of Jesus. Archbishop Yong Ping Chung and Archbishop Emmanuel Kolini, they are just like Zerubabel and Joshua to work together as a team to build Anglican Mission in 2000. Archbishop Yong was being received to glory who passed away two years ago yesterday, December 22,2022. May we give thanks to the Lord for His Grace's life to be a model for us of what does it means by Good and Faithful servant of God.

Today's Revelation 14:13 is a confirmation of how our Abba Father delights in Archbishop Yong's faithfulness:

Then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.”

“Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.”

Dear Lord Jesus,

May you raise up your servants and those who are willing to follow their lead that they trust in the guidance of the Holy Spirit to complete your mission and to build your church. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

今日我從主耶穌領受的主題是: 世世代代頌讚你的作為，傳揚你的大能!

昨天分享到不少人問為何神不去消滅這世界近幾年這麼多的災難，使那麼多人這樣痛苦。事實卻是神讓各種的災害發生，目的都是苦口良藥，希望人能把握機會，承認自己走錯了人生路，回頭轉向神!

今日詩篇145:1-4帶領我們現在每天應有的心態，天天頌讚神，以致能經歷神奇妙的作為，並且能作美好的見證，甚至使我們的下一代，下二代以致世世代都能因我們經歷神在這麼多的災難中帶領我們走出黑暗進入光明，能有如昔日過紅海的以色列人一樣，世世代代頌讚神的作為，傳揚神的大能!

親愛的主耶穌,

求你使我們因經歷你在這疫情及這麼多的災難中帶領我們走出黑暗進入光明，能有如昔日過紅海的以色列人一樣，世世代代頌讚你的作為，傳揚你的大能，奉主耶穌基督名求，阿們。

The Word, Time with Abba (Psalm 145:1-7; Zachariah 2:1-3:10; Revelation 13:2-18; Proverbs 30:18-20)

Today's key passage:

I will exalt you, my God the King;

I will praise your name for ever and ever.

Every day I will praise you

and extol your name for ever and ever.

Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise;
his greatness no one can fathom.

One generation commends your works to another;
they tell of your mighty acts.

Psalm 145:1-4

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time to Jesus as you listen to him.

My Listening

The topic I received from Jesus is: Tell your mighty acts from generations to generations!

Yesterday we talked about a question being asked by many people: Why God does not take action to take out those severe calamities the past four years? Why He makes so many people in pain?

After reading Zachariah 1:1-6, you may have a better understanding to those questions.

The fact is that from Old Testament time until now, when God allows natural disasters and all kinds of sufferings to happen is to teach His people a hard lesson, giving people an opportunity to return to God rather than insisting on their own and destructive ways!

Today's Psalm 145:1-4 teaches us that the right attitude to live each day is to sing praises to God from generations to generations so that we can experience God's mighty acts as the Israelites experienced!

Dear Lord Jesus,

Lead us to help our people to sing praises to you from generations to generations so that we can tell your mighty acts to others. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

  Reflect on these questions:
1. What inspiration have you received from today's catch and what have you heard from Jesus now?

2. What is your next step to be more closer to Jesus, to be holy - that is to do what Jesus wants you to do and not to do what Jesus wants you not to do?

大利烏王第二年八月，耶和華的話臨到易多的孫子、比利家的兒子先知撒迦利亞，說：

2 耶和華曾向你們列祖大大發怒。

3 所以你要對以色列人說，萬軍之耶和華如此說：你們要轉向我，我就轉向你們。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。

4 不要效法你們列祖。從前的先知呼叫他們說，萬軍之耶和華如此說：你們要回頭離開你們的惡道惡行。他們卻不聽，也不順從我。這是耶和華說的。

今日我從主耶穌領受的主題是: 是時候回頭轉向神了!

不少人問這問題: 為何神不去消滅新冠肺炎及數不清的災難，使那麼多人這樣痛苦?"

相信今日撒迦利亞書 1:1-6 可以讓我們稍為明白這 "為何"的問題。

我們多次從舊約聖經看到人偏行己路，故意不聽神，叛逆神的後果是神讓各種的災害發生，包括有如現在的大形瘟疫，大自然的災害包括地震，火山爆發，其實目的都是苦口良藥，希望人能把握機會，承認自己走錯了人生路，回頭轉向神!

其實現在這些災害，比起聖經記載神的懲罰來到時的毀滅性災難是輕得多了!

是時間回頭轉向神了!

親愛的主耶穌,

求你使我們明白現在這些災害，比起聖經記載神的懲罰來到時的毀滅性災難是輕得多，使用我們去傳達這信息使人回頭轉向你得着拯救，奉主耶穌基督名求，阿們。
