Last month Disney and Dooney lovers were treated to specialty Tink Purses at the 2012 Tinker Bell Disneyland Half Marathon and now it looks like Walt Disney World runners will be given another treat!  Behold the 2012 Disney Princess Half Marathon Bags that will be released at the Fit for a Princess Expo on February 24th.  Wonder how fast these will sell out?

This is the living room equipped with flat screen TV.

Also in the living area is a small dining table and chairs.

This is situated near a mini built in kitchen area with fridge, microwave, coffee maker and sink.

The bathroom was well stocked and clean and came equipped with toiletries and a hair dryer.

Here’s a shot of the kids section of the suite.  The room was equipped with bunk beds and cute murals.  My pre-teen daughter loved the television control built into the wall near the bed but wasn’t so fond of the fact that there was no door on the room.  Guess this is a safety issue.

My husband and I were delighted with the size and appearance of our room in the 2-bedroom suite.

One of the neatest things that I have yet to experience at any other hotel is the keyless entry. Just wave your room card in front of the sensor and Presto!

but the Pièce de résistance was definitely the pool and slide area of the resort. AMAZING!

There was even a splash zone for the lil ones and our kids got “slimed” in a massive event that was held in the pool area!

Security was extremely tight at the resort. The Nick Hotel is also on a wristband system so you will have to wear your band all day every day for the duration of your stay and there are no non-hotel guests allowed onto the property…not even at the restaurants so keep that in mind if you are traveling with a group or visiting locals in the area.

Overall I think this resort is a great value in relation to what you get…larger accommodations, water park, mini golf, character dining, entertainment etc.  If you’d like to book please visit the Nickelodeon Suites online or call 1-877-642-5111.
